Is this the end of Dungeon Life then? 

The videos there are much more than interviews about classes, races, rules, etc. There where previews, the SoA, interviews with Mercer & Co. These are not directly related to DDB, so will there be no such videos anymore?

Hello Everyone!

I will be covering the same subjects and in the same style as I did on Dungeon Life. We will be going in-depth with the creators on rules, art, writing, tips and tricks and personal stories. We will also be interviewing community members like I always have. In addition to all of that, I want to create videos that are also friendly to new players that will explain character creation, classes, alignment, races, spells, famous pieces of D&D lore. My goal is to create very substantial looks into how D&D is made and played. I also want to see the game flourish helping teach a new generation of D&D players about the game and why we love it so much.

This is the most positive community I've been a part of. The people we include today, will become the directors, TV show runners, maybe even D&D creators of tomorrow.

Does this mean that there will be room in the future for D&D Beyond to host other D&D related video content (exclusive or otherwise) sometime in the future?  That would be the most amazing thing ever!  There are a lot of great content creators out there for D&D, whether they're advice channels or game streamers, or maybe even other related material, like tabletop RPG comedy sketch channels.  I would assume they would be specifically selected, and not be an open platform, but finding the right content creators would make D&D Beyond a bigger community, and not just a tool resource, kind of like what you've done with Todd Kenreck.

Side note: Does this mean that This Dragon Life is moving over to D&D Beyond.  Based on the solid work I've seen from Todd, I subscribed immediately after I saw the announcement, and I've been patiently awaiting for the game to start.

When I signed up for Xanthars, paid early etc, there was some mention of pre-release. Now the 21st is not a long way off.. is that like 1 day's pre release on dnd beyond, or did it not eventuate? Just askin. I mean now would be awesome, a week would be cool.. less is just mean :p
