Perception 19
Picking himself up off the floor is a workout. "I think I will never get accustom to wearing this stupid armor" When standing still Shaylin may look like he wears the armor on a regular bases, after the first few steps you can tell that is not the case. Without his helm on you can see heavy elvin features in the face, but something is off with the ears. They do not come to a full point, they are flat across the top. "So what do we do now that the way in is closed to us?"
The wind you feel on your cheek brings sibilant murmurs with it. The voices seem to be far away from you or come through barriers. You can't seem to make out what is being said but it's intelligent ... if a bit agitated. The stench and coppery tinge you smell coming from behind that same door doesn't bode well though.
Sage looks at the others in silence, she mumbles something along the lines of 'no i cant see very well' but it was very quiet. She looks more concerned about what just happened and crosses her arms.
The ragged black dyed sackcloth hood lifts, and for a moment there is a quiver of fear. Sibilant muttering in a mix of common and at least two other languages is heard as the tiny figure rises.
“ Nowhere to hide. Shit.”
Smudge momentarily grips the hilt of his dagger with a hand covered in gray-white scales as his red gloves hand tightly grips at a leather pocket at his belt. He skitters about, wall to wall, keeping one eye on his companions as he does so.
“Who sees what I can’t? “
He begins digging out components from his pouch, preparing himself.

OOC: I don't have the ability to change color on dialog at the moment in mobile but I will try in emphasis Honor's speech.
"Don't light ANYTHING," Honor growls in a low tone getting up, "not yet," their voice adds to the previously harsh whisper.
Perception: to hear, see, smell something off other than what's been described by the party. The Underdark is a favoured terrain 18
Investigation: To see structures, a clear dungeon layout. 18 if Honor gets advantage 4.
Survival 20
P.s. mobile edits made the dice rolls screwy.
OOC: did we get a map or know the layout before coming down?
Honor has red skin, dark hair, curled black horns from the forehead back into the hairline with golden eyes. Honor stayed under a brown hood most of the time in the tavern, wearing black tinted scale mail that looks old. Only visible weapon was a longbow with quiver filled of owlbear fletched arrows. Honor didn't speak as much as listened to the party as they discussed the dungeon. Honor was the last to agree to enter the dungeon as well.
"I realize that my little lizard friend. It just makes us easier to be seen," Honor whispers back to the kobold. "If you can't see in the dark you don't belong down here," Honor then growls moving towards the rock slide.
"I know why you are urging caution but if we get attacked it won't help us if one or two of us are fighting blind" whispers Thasa, "we at least need to be able to create light quickly".
Thasa inches towards the door, hand on the hilt of his rapier but he stops short of touching distance.
"There isn't any way back so we need to think how we move forward, I can see well enough to investigate the door but if we open it and there are a whole gang of scary things in there we need to be ready."

Smudge keeps up his quiet chatter as he thrusts his gear back in his pack.
”Grow up underground and wont be long until a cave in is as scary as any beastie.”
He throws his hood back, grinning his toothy smile, blinking eyes as pale as a fish’s belly in his white scaled face. He scratches at the base of one stubby horn and crosses to stare at the rockslide as Honor approaches it.
” Give me six of my clutch and we would have this cleared in an hour. With the right tools and a spell or too, of course.”
*sighs*
“ Sadly I memorized for battle, not digging. Alone this might take me a couple of days. And it would be noisy”
“If you are so eager to open the door, I can do so from a distance. As long as it is not locked, which should give you some space to fight if need be.”
"If you want light just ask. Watch your eyes." I will cast the spell light on the torch.
(OOG how do you want to do spell components?)
OOG I don't know. I didn't think about it really. I usually describe them when I cast the spell the first time then make allusions. I think we should be careful about very expensive components but not the cheap ones. Any thoughts? Can we talk about this in the Campaign section, please.

Honor seems to use all of her senses when she does a quick tour of the room. The spiderweb is very old but kept in pristine condition because no one has come through here for a long time.
The structure seems ancient but bare and there are no inscriptions to give away its origin.
In the corner, you can see your gnomish friend still lying down.
Short for gnome, by her gnomish clan's standards, the brown-haired and mossy green-eyed gnome lay bedraggled and unconscious of the goings-on around her. Ideally, her dirty brown robes were not ostentatious but rather practical, fitting for a researcher stepping out into a dungeon for the first time. Freckles dotted across her pale face, while her fingers bore marks of old healed papercuts and fading ink stains.
OOG No you didn't get a map. You are you think the first one to use this entrance

Smudge laughs. It is a singularly unpleasant sound. (Darkvision)
”I’m your eyes? Remember it, soft one.”
Smudge seems to hear Sage belatedly and grimaces.
“ If any of you hairy ones feels like lighting a torch , a bit of warning, please?” He pulls his good a little tighter.
He fumbles through his pack and offers one along with a tinderbox, belying his tone.
” And if ye didn’t pack well I have it. “
