A blond wealthily-dressed man walks through the door. "Barkeep, the finest ale you have." He then places 2 gold coins on the bar and makes his way up toward the aristocrats. "Deliver it to me, and you might get a tip." Just one, I don't want to be drunk for the fight. He walks up the steps and finds a seat to watch the show.
A woman seated down near the front of the tavern, watching the battle below, strides over the rope, and heads up to sit across from you. "Ah, yes. Larry, right? I was expecting you. Before your match we'll just need a few forms filled." She hands you a few sheets.
When the serving girl comes, The Secretary accepts the drink with a smile, and the girl goes back for another.
"Name... Lawrence... Whitmore..." He muttered to himself as he filled out the information. "Age... 23. Next of kin... Samuel Whitmore. Ah, thank you!" He took the pint from the server and handed her 5 silver coins. "Here you go." He handed the sheets back to the lady who gave them to him and got comfortable.
She inhales, as though about to speak, then thinks better of it. She smiles to herself, and stands. "Thanks for the drink, Lawrence. I'll keep an eye out for your match... If your coins are weighing you down, Garrock, down there, can help." She gestures to the betting table, and heads back down to join the masses.
Daisy brings her little potted plant over and sits at the bar between Urrk and the Tortle. "You're staying out of the match? Don't let your momentum wane... Next time you might end up against one of these guys." She gestures to the Turtle-man.
