Brom rushes to retrieve his longsword from the bushes. Cursing at himself for his blunder.
Athletics check: 21
Acrobatics: 13
(OOC: after he retrieves his sword, let me know who I am closer to, Shaede or the creature. If I am between them I would like to attack again to keep attention from Shaede. If I am closer to Shaede I would like to get to him and get him to safety. Assuming I have enough moves)
Shaede is still up. On your character sheet it says 20 hp :) but it should be noted that the hit was for MIN damage... this thing is VERY dangerous...
Brom dives for his sword and is able to retrieve it with ease. As he looks up he sees that he is closest to Tarvyn who is struggling to get back on his feet. Brom can clearly hear Tarvyn attempt to yell something, but it's not entirely clear what. Brutus shakes off Jarmon's second volley, but there is a clear stream of blood running down his leg from the first attack.
Gwythian rushes over to Shaede and touches him. "You'll survive this yet." He says, as he sends healing magic through his body: 6 hit points, using Cure Wounds

Shaede
Shaede stands up after being struck with Brutus's killer tail. He nods to Gwythian and says, Thank you for your healing words. Now it's time to kill this beast! Holding tightly to his shortbow, he readies an arrow and pulls it back. Shaede thinks to himself, strike true for the love of Solonor. After he releases the arrow into Brutus' soft skin, he moves back into the foliage and attempts to hide in the cover (OOC: 50ft from Brutus).
"Don't have much of a choice. Durned thing is blocking our path forward. It's not lookin to kindly to letting us leave neither."
Brom scratches his beard
"If we can get the durned thing to lift up or roll over it's belly ain't got no armor. Few good shots'll take it down."
Brom considers the options
"Odin's beard. If ya'll archers can distract it then I can rush it and try and knock the ol' boy over or lift it up. Might even get to stick it too."
(OOC: I am about to do "Action Surge" On my turn it allows me an additional action on top of my regular action and then a possible bonus action. OK. Here is the plan. If someone can distract the beast. I want to rush it, and get underneath it and lift it up to expose its belly so the archers or wizard can attack it's vulnerable underbelly. Is that possible?)
Gwythian rushes over to Tarvyn and attempts to offer more Druidic words of healing. He puts a hand on the injured mans back and chants some strange words. 4 points of healing with cure wounds

Tarvyn's wounds bind under the touch of your magic healing. He staggers up to his feet. Calls out a command word and you see a puddle of black grease form around Brutus' feet.
DEX save: 16
While Brom formulates a plan, Jarmon launches an arrow toward Brutus that bounces harmlessly off his plated back. As the creature turns his huge body to face Jarmon Brom is able to dive and roll underneath him without being seen.
You could easily roll underneath him, but he is, by definition a huge creature, so I don't think tipping him would be possible. With a 10 ATH I will say you get under him, and have advantage on your attacks. :)
Also after Brom makes an attack it will go back to Brutus in the initiative order.
While underneath the creature I will strike upward into his belly with my longsword.
Brom rolls under the creature and weilding his longsword in both hands, he stabs straight up into the creatures unarmored underbelly with all of his strength.
"Take this ya bastard!"
Attack: 24
Damage: 14
Brom hopes the massive creature will lurch upwards allowing his allies to rain hell upon the creatures only defenseless spot.
After striking Brom will try and roll out of the creatures way.
(OOC: I forgot to add advantage to the attack roll but with a 24 I am good with that. Also what is the creatures current hit points?)
The creature howls in pain, as you strike true. It starts to spin wildly before running about 10 feet back and whips it's tail around at Brom, now viewing him as the main threat.
Tail attack: Attack: 10 Damage: 23
Player turn again.
Also Brom, I make it a point to keep the HP totals hidden... But I will tell you that it is not below half yet.
Shaede watches patiently from the cover of the surrounding foliage for his chance. He waits for the perfect opportunity to let his arrow fly into the beasts underbelly. When the timing is right, he lets loose and retreats back into the foliage.
Shaede will wait until after Brom's turn to to attack in order to get the Sneak Attack bonus due to Brom's engagement. Of course, if Brom doesn't engage Brutus, the Sneak Attack won't apply
Gwythian turns to Tarvyn and asks, "What did you say to it? What is that coming out of it?" He then raises a hand up towards Brutus and thunder strikes down once again. thunderclap5 and gwythian moves to seek cover behind foliage.

Brom
Brom ducks the creatures tail as it tries to take his head off and the tail swings harmlessly past him. Feeling the sizzle in the air from the Lightning strike and watches as Jarmon arrows strike true. Brom smoothes out his beard and prepares for another attack.
(OOC: Are there any spots missing armor with all the damage inflicted from magic and arrows that Brom can attempt to strike on top of the creature?)
Brom rushes back at the creature in a full sprint and slides under it slashing its underbelly with his long sword
