Scarlet walks over to the talking dog and says How exactly are you speaking in that form? I can be a dog but can't talk in that form.

"I want to pull out it's tongue so Timbity can use it as a whip."- W
Scarlet is a red haired wood elf. She is wearing a semi-formal red dress and her green cloak with silver lining. She has a beat up old scimitar at her side. She has dark green eyes and a feather in her hair. Her skin is well tanned.
John comes back down from the rafters and turns back to human. " I apologize for the confusion, I am unable to speak as many animals, I have only spoken as a young dragon, and occasionally a squirrel, but I try not to talk as a squirrel, for sometimes an insult will jump out without my meaning for it"
"Haha. Yes, sadly, that is why I did not become a bard. A musician once told me I had no range, so I became a druid to show him the wide range I did have."
Dusk opens an eye, slightly blinking away the blur that has crept into his view. He is keenly aware of the new arrivals, and after finishing his meditation, he looks at the elderly wizard, scrutinizing him. He closes his eye again, addressing the wizard "You must be really old then? About a thousand years or so? Or are you just fond of a good story, Menschling?"
After quite some time reading and re-reading the book, Morgan finally closes it once again with a relaxed sigh. She takes out a well-worn and ink-stained rag to clean the tip of her quill before setting it down as well and stoppering her bottle of ink.
After a few more minutes of allowing the ink to dry, she rolls up her parchment of corrections and suggestions and picks up both it and the book before making her way over to Scarlet.
*Okay, I've gone over it and offered what advice I can. It's a really nice collection of stories. I hope it sells well, or whatever it is you hope to do with it.*
Now having said her piece, Morgan gives a polite smile before turning back and returning to her seat next to Nine.
I'm sure Gyro's fine. Like you said, he probably just had to find shelter-this storm likely hit him before it hit us. Cloud glances over at the nearly-completed pillow/blanket fort. It's looking great over there, Scarlet! How's it going?
The door is opened for a split second, and a wet creature enters the tavern. It's a Michtim, but because of the wet fur, it looks very weird and definitely unhappy. Whisper has returned from his expedition to the cave. Thekla rushes over to him with a towel and rubs him off. He looks happy that she's taking care of him.
"Honey, you need to get your self warm and cozy. That's definitely not a good idea to be out and about in such a weather."
"I know. I was surprised by the weather actually."
"But don't you check your weather, like we all do?"
"I was not paying a lot of attention, and by the time I was on my way back, I basically didn't even look for shelter, and wanted to push through. Seems like I miscalculated."
"Haha, okay. Well, have a tea and warm up. Did you find something interesting?"
"Yes! In fact, I found a new specimen. I took a spiderling with me, it's right here."Whisper shows a small jar with a cute little spider that's currently feasting on a small dead lateralis cockroach. "Spiderlings sometimes will scavenge food. I had to kill the cockroach, but she's a good eater, it seems."
Standing in the doorway, dripping wet, stood a 4'8" blue-skinned Gensai. She had the overall appearance of a drowned rat; her clothes hung off her like a storm weathered sail, her long red coat a deep crimson from the weather and as she walked into the room, her large boots squished and splashed with the water that had filled them. However, despite her appearance, her eyes flashed with a wild ambitious fire, and her lips pulled back into a large, sly, toothy smile.
"Stand fast ye lot!" she yelled moving into the center of the room,"me name's Morganna eh?! Any of you lot wanna av' a go then bring it on, otherwise, don't fret, just 'ere for the Pig's Ear." She moved over to the counter and slammed a meager coin bag down, "Well come on, let's have an ale then."
Yerandell answers with, "That's a good thing. There's a special thing about this tavern that protects you from any difficulty from ulterior motives." He glances around, hoping no one takes offense by that
Getting up from her seat by John Kelly, Cloud walks over to Morganna. You look soaked! Would you like a few towels to dry off? At least let me buy you something warm.
I don't remember if the towels were generally available or if you paid for them-if you do have to pay, Cloud will get Morganna some.
Morganna was either too engrossed in the transaction for her ale to listen what Yerandell was saying, or was straight up ignoring him. She didn't respond to anyone until Cloud walked over to her.
"Yer kind ta offer, but I'll not be needin' it. Besides, I kinda miss the wateron me skin eh? It's not da sea air, but it's fine, innit."She offered her hand and a rather large grin to the boy:

Tarvin eyes John "Fascinating, I once knew a druid who could speak as a bird, but could not sing to save her life."
"Haha. Yes, sadly, that is why I did not become a bard. A musician once told me I had no range, so I became a druid to show him the wide range I did have."
"Music is a magic far beyond my knowledge, I must admit. I'm much more well versed in other forms of the arcane"
"Yes, quite right. What brings the two of you here?"
Not sure which "two" you were talking to, so I'm going to assume I was one of them.
Well, I live here. Have done so for about three years now.

" Well that seems mighty great of you, I hear these woods can be a bit mischevious. I hope you are not losing anything in this storm."
No, my tree is well protected from the wind and rain. It has to be-I hate getting wet. What about you Tarvin? What brought you here?

The storm is whipping rain against the windows. Howling winds are raging outside the tavern.
Thekla sighs "I sure hope Gyro is safe. I expected him to be back yesterday, but he probably had to seek shelter somewhere."

Yerandell walks over and asks "I'm sorry to interrupt, but what share do you hail from? that is a very interesting accent that you have."
