"Twenty goblins?" she shook her head, horns tilting from side to side. The odds seemed not in their favor. No gold or certain death. What a choice, Callista had before her. Rubbing the bridge of her nose, she gestured to the cart. "Fine. Let's scurry back to mass of goblins. Pray to Tymora, our luck holds." With that, she tried to help hide the cart.
The crew of adventures push the wagon into the little clearing that Clarion found earlier. Using different branches and other foliage to hide the wagon the best they could.
Whomever is hiding the wagon, survival check. I would like only one of you to roll, but they'll get advantage as the rest of you all would be helping.
Trick walks up to group after hiding the wagon. "I think one of us should go back and try to at get word to Waterdeep about these Goblins. What happens when we fail Phandelin will get overrun anyways. I'm the quickest, and the quietest. I'll run back. Good luck all." Trick packed up his belongings and began back on his way to Waterdeep hiding within the shadows.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With the help of the Callista, Wracoria and Crane Clarion checks everything carefully. Satisfied that no one was going to find the wagon without good knowledge or good luck he moves back to follow the trail that he and Trick had studied before. "Ok, let's keep it quiet and I'll show you what we were able to find so far." He leads to others in the hunt for Rockseeker and Sildar.
Clarion stands back from his work, and looks at the wagon, well where he knew the wagon was as it blended perfectly into the tree lines. The wagon and horses were so hidden if it weren't for the soft nibble of them eating grass or the party knowing the location they would have lost it.
The group heads down the game paths that Clarion originally scouted, and then beyond. They pass another snare trap, and when they almost thought the path was lost a pit trap with a number of spikes in the bottom. Clarion was just barely able to stop the group from falling victim to the pit. They skirted around it constantly keeping look out. After a ways they can make out the sound of a stream gurgling, and see the ending of the woods ahead.
