"Oh dear, I am sure I would last all but a moment in a fight with goblins. But if the coin is enough then there may be others looking to take up the same task. Thank you for the information, I will get my self in the presence of the lady in the morning."
Wilwordleaves the bar and heads towards the tables. (Is there any empty tables left? If there is he would head for that otherwise he would take a seat at the table with the hooded figure reading a book)
Calanon had at first bristled when he heard the bard bring up a joke about drow, part of him tempted to show his displeasure. As the joke went on though he actually allowed a small laugh to escape, having no trouble imagining that a drow would possibly wish for it. Although it was actually quite tame compared to what most drow would truly want to happen inside the wall.

OoC: If any of you (AnimeSquirrel) didn't quite get the jokes here an explanation-
1. The broken sword, a broken sword is pointless. That's why it's funny.... maybe....
2. The werebear, the werebear took a big pause before ordering his nuts. This one is also a play on words. He took a big pause but he also has big paws.
3. The Drow, I'm sure you understood this one. This was fairly simple to get.
Beamer loved the performance of the Bard. Wishes he could find more entertainment on the rode when leading stuffed shirts through difficult terrain. Taliesin would make a good companion for whatever group he ended up riding with. He finishes his drink and heads up to his room hoping tomorrow will prove profitable, or at least show a promise of profit in the near future.
You are left alone while you read through your book, a few other patrons sit at your table, but stick to themselves and have their own hushed conversation over drinks while laughing along with the Bards jokes.
(Taliesin)
Your jokes have most of the guests, and the Dwarf, laughing loudly. After you approach him after he tells you your free for a night or two if you'd wish. Meals and drink included for the first night.
(Jason)
You look around and see no one who stands out, though there is a the dwarf looks at you with a raised brow. But still holds out a key. "Good evening to you my stern friend. This is a simple town sir. Barely able to defend our walls from a clan of Goblins. I have no knowledge as for a need for an Inquisitor, whatever yer business be I am happy to assist however possible." He looks back to the Bard and chuckles once more after you take the key. "If yer hungry from travelin' take a seat and ye'll be served, we keep a fresh stock of breads and meats."
(Wilword)
There are no empty tables you can see, and the most available one is indeed the furthest one from the door. Where near the back wall sits a lone hooded figure.
(Calanon)
As you ponder what wish the Drow may evoke in the given situation you notice a almost human looking young man approaching the table you are seated at. (still using your rolled perception from earlier as I assume you are staying attentive to the guests at the Inn)
The drow rogue watched the person approaching him closely, his right hand sliding down to rest near the weapons on his hip. With his left he set his cup to his lip and took a sip, attempting to be ready but not openly hostile since he had been unaccosted so far.

Wilword walks through the tables heading for an empty seat. He watches the performance as he moves through the room but is not that interested in the one-liner jokes on offer. He does chuckle at the drow jokes as it was clever and more story based.
Taking a seat at the table furthest from the door he gives the current occupant a quick glance. "The performer seems to be ok. A few more jokes like the last and I may have to throw him a coin of my own. You don't mind if I sit here, do you? The place seems quite full and there are not very many other options."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Ooc: did any patrons throw some coin or anything at me?)
Taliesin happy at the results of his jokes and conversation with Morak begins to wander around the bar making friends with anyone willing, while trying to find out information on anything and also keep an eye out for any patrons that are a little woozy and close or pretty much passed out.
(Some patrons did in fact reward you performance, between the silvers and gold coins you raked in about 3 Gold, 6 Silver. It was a good night.)
Several of the people thank you heartily for the entertainment as you wander by and none of the people seem to be drunk or passed out. Though a few are talking a bit louder than may be necessary. Keeping an ear out for any relevant info proves fruitless most people are discussing mundane things like their day at work. You do pick up a few concerned murmurs about the recent attacks, nothing more than that unfortunately.

(must be distracted by the drow joke. The differences between elves is lost on me)
Calanon simply nodded to the human as he sat at the table, not looking up from the table as it would risk showing his ebony colored. He sipped the last bit of liquid from his cup and set it down, his hand moving to rest on the edge of the table. By this point he figured he had learned what he was going to so he simply leaned back into the chair and waited for a chance to go upstairs.

"So not much of a talker? I get that, being quiet has its advantages. There seem to a few people here. I wonder if they have all come to look into the goblin attack." Wilword starts to raise his voice, slightly, with the last two sentences talking to the room more than to the man he is sharing the table with. He will also try and take in the room to see if anyone looks his way at the mention of the goblin attack.
You notice a man that came in and abruptly walked directly over to the Tavern Master. He carries himself with the confidence that he belongs here and doesn't look like an average patron. Also a man in well worn robes speaks loudly about goblins near the back on the Inn.
(Wilword)
You get both hopeful and confused glances from most of the guests here. The Dwarf's gaze lingers on your table a bit longer than everyone else's. Yet no one speaks out in response.
(Does anyone respond to Wilword's inquiry?)
Also Calanon more than a few set of eyes are on your table thanks to your new table companion.

The drow simply shrugged as he looked at the human from under his hood. His hand moved closer to his blade as he noticed all the eyes on his table. He slowly rose from the table and made for the stairs that would lead to his room, not really able to hide this fact as all eyes were on him. For now it would be best to wait until morning so he could meet the lady and gauge how things would go with her.
