Tibern and Nundro hit one ghoul but it remains standing until Vandar's first attack. After dispatching the first ghoul Vandar strikes a second. Silas heals the group with his staff and finally Lothar hits the wounded ghoul again leaving the thing standing but looking pretty bad.

The wounded ghoul hits back at Lothar with it's claws.
Going to need a DC 10 constitution save from Lothar, on a fail you are paralyzed for 1 minute, but you can roll that save at the end of each turn to snap out of it.
Lothar grimaces as the undead creature strikes at him with its claws. Shaking off the effect of the ghoul, he retaliated with a strike of his own. "Your turn," he said as the greatsword was swung. Though it appeared the strike went wide.
(That was a reaction so I will post both last turn and this turns actions.. I was going to edit the post but lost power for the last few days so I had no way to charge my laptop.)
After trying to make the undead creature miss, Tibern will move in with his rapier and stab at the last reminding ghoul.
Last Turn: Attack: 25 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
This Turn: Attack: 9 Damage: 10

Rekuberk Onc Level 8 | Half Orc | Barbarian (The Tales of the Fellowship of the White Cloaks)
Ah, I see now, should have checked cutting words to see what it was before I moved us forward. No matter, Tibern kills the ghoul. You are out of combat. What would you like to do?
I will try to get on my computer tonight and link another map.
Sorry guys crazy holiday weekend, haven't had time to check in until right now. If any of you know a good way to post maps up here please let me know, 8n the meantime I am trying to get Google Docs working as I have seen other DMs use it here and while I don't think its ideal it will work. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to mess around with it yet and have not gotten past opening an account. If all goes well at my second job tonight I should have time to mess around with it and hopefully figure out how to do maps.
For now this should link you to the map directly from the adventure you are in room 9. Where would you like to go next? Do you want to rest or do anything else before moving on?
The eastern wall of this chamber has collapsed into a mass of rubble. To the north, a door stands ajar, leading to a good-sized storeroom. Dusty kegs are tucked neatly against the walls, all of them cracked and split open from age.
There is no sign of anything suspicious or dangerous, once you have looked over the room Nundro moves over to the door and spends a moment or two examining it. "This old door was well made, hinges look to be as strong as the day they were forged." The dwarf pushes the door shut, and places a thick iron bar into place across it sealing the portal from the inside. "I imagine this room was intended to double as a safe room. We will be safe in here as long as that bar is in place." He sits down on the floor with a thud and leans back against the door. "We should rest here awhile and recover our strength before we go pickin another fight with whatever undead horrors are left. Too bad all those kegs weren't built as well as this door."
Everyone take 350xp and a long rest. You can head to area 6, 3, or 13 next.
Lothar took a seat on the ground next to the dwarf. Though, he was still strong after their encounter with the ghouls, he knew that the others had not fared so well. He unrolled his bedding and laid down for a rest, comforted in Nundro's assessment of their location.
After a rest you all feel much better, and head out towards area 6. You approach the door and find it slightly ajar, through the crack in the door you hear an unsettling gnawing and crunching sound reminiscent of dogs eagerly chewing through bones to get at the marrow.
"If they are kennels, hopefully whatever is in there is locked up. But we should know noetheless." Silas says, looking around hoping that he doesnt have to be the one to check the room.

Silas will also go into the next room. Area 7
You enter area 7.
The eastern wall of this chamber has collapsed into a mass of rubble. To the north, a door stands ajar, leading to a good-sized storeroom. Dusty kegs are tucked neatly against the walls, all of them cracked and split open from age.

Vandar picks a spot and collapses down to rest, grateful for a chance to get a break from walking, climbing, and fighting.
(I vote area 6 next)
After a rest you all feel much better, and head out towards area 6. You approach the door and find it slightly ajar, through the crack in the door you hear an unsettling gnawing and crunching sound reminiscent of dogs eagerly chewing through bones to get at the marrow.
"A kennel perhaps?" Vandar asks, looking at the others. "Do we investigate?"
"If they are kennels, hopefully whatever is in there is locked up. But we should know noetheless." Silas says, looking around hoping that he doesnt have to be the one to check the room.
