Carrow makes his way to the table that was indicated by the barkeep. Noticing several members already there he bows slightly, "I apologize for my apparent tardiness. I was told you were all looking for Jerub? I am Carrow Locke. Pleasure to make your acquaintances. Have we heard from the priest as to what this venture entails?"
Lolli casually approaches the booth. Slides a flagon of cider across the wooden table to Bran and gently speaks, "5 nibs, ser" (5 cp).
Bran rummages around in his pockets, pulling out various objects trying to find his copper: A spool of fine thread, a small vial of sand, bread crust, a weasel (yes a weasel!), and a small notebook. "Hmm, not in that pocket...Oh, sorry Pax, back ya go!" Bran puts all the objects back in the pocket except the weasel, which he puts in a special sling attached to his tunic.
This time he checks a small leather pouch attached to his belt "Aha, there we go!" He hands Lolli 7 cp. "Keep the change dear."

"Howdy Carrow, I'm Bran. There has been no sighting of the bald priest yet, and between you and me, I'm rather ok with it. I'm less eager about starting this work, and more eager about finishing it. I expect most of us wouldn't be here if we weren't in a hard place."

"There is much truth to that, though I've found that an end rarely comes without a beginning. It its good to meet you, Bran."
Hildigrim looks from individual to individual repeating their names. "Bran, Flow and Carrow. Pleased to make your acquaintance, Carrow. My name's Hildigrim Goodbody." He looks around the tavern once again. "If my memory serves me, we're expecting a fifth."
After a few hours pass, the tavern begins to clear out and there is still no sign of Jerub. The fire grows dim while the common room is slowly abandoned by the patrons, either returning to their room upstairs, or stumbling out into the dark and rainy streets. Soon you are left almost completely alone except for a few quiet patrons sticking to the company of their flagons. Alandell approaches your booth and beckons at Barrel to join. Barrel approaches the booth, says a quick hello, and then turns to Arandell as the stately barman begins to speak in a low-tone to the party.
"Listen fellars. Jerub wishes to meet with ye privately." Alandell's eyes dart back and forth conspicuously.
The barman lowers his voice even more, almost to a whisper, as he leans further over your table with a hand outstretched on the tabletop for balance. "You lot head down to the cellar, through the back hall there." Alandell motions with eyes toward a narrow hallway at the back of the common room that you all assume leads to a back entrance.
"Help yerselves to brandy and ale and the like down there. I'll be down to check on ye in just a few minutes. And try not to draw too much attention to yerselves, gentlemen."
Alandell straightens up and begins speaking loudly, in a somewhat obvious attempt to seem casually inconspicuous. "Very good chaps. Thank ye for yer patronage. Please visit us again soon. It was our pleasure to serve ye. If ye need anything else please ask just ask Lolli!"
With that, Alandell pushes off from your table and strides back across the room. He straightens up a few glasses on a shelf and then disappears through the stockroom door behind the bar.
Bran gives a nod to the dwarf. "A fine show you put on this evening." He then takes out another 2 cp and leaves them on the table next to his empty flagon.
"Well, shall we head down?" Bran gets up and starts making his way to the back hall.

"I will be joining you on this fine quest from Jerub the Gray."
With that, Barrel walks through the crowd saying his goodbyes to his adoring fans (in his mind at least) as he makes his way to the back hallway and heads down towards the cellar.

Hildigrim makes a circuit around the tavern, attempting to look inconspicuous. (Stealth: 18) He watches out of the corner of his eye as Bran, Flow and the newcomer, Barrel, head down the hall. After a quick, distracted pat of the slumbering dog's head, Hildi walks purposefully for the back hall. He gives a jerky half salute to Lolli as he passes the bar.
Flow's trident and armor gain enough attention without the help of his unique appearance. Although he attempts to be casual and somewhat quiet when heading out the door, Flow is not very successful. His armor, pack, and trident make quite a racket as he heads to the back hallway. Even still, none of the old drunken patrons remaining in the tavern seem to mind or even take notice. Flow begins to wonder if Arandell is paranoid or Jerub just paid him well for discretion.

Oh, shoot. I should have rolled with disadvantage as well. I forgot about chain mail giving disadvantage to stealth.
Each of you follow the dark, wood-paneled hallway to the back of the building, one after the other. The hallway leads to a door, then forks left to a set of stairs made with thick, dusty old planks, descending into the stone foundation of this ancient building. Through the thick beveled glass of the door you see a gloomy alleyway drenched in freezing rain. Each of you descend the stairs, which take a sharp left turn around a bannister deeper into the heart of the Bowels of the Earth.
The cellar stairs open into a wide stone room with a low ceiling. Dust falls from the creaking boards overhead as patrons cross the common area above. Dim lantern light illuminates this half-storeroom, half--living area. An old stone well sits in one corner of the cellar, and a sturdy wooden table and book shelf populate the opposite corner. The table and shelves seems to be full of ledger books and other clerical documents. The opposite wall from the stairs is lined with massive casks of ale and wine, surrounded by multiple shelves stocked with boxes and sacks of dry goods and other maintenance materials. A small unmade bed is tucked away, behind one of these shelves.
Around the back corner the room descends three more small steps into a small, brick-lined wine cellar with arching wooden beams lining the ceiling. The walls of this alcove are lined with crisscrossing wine racks, and a large dining table surrounded by chairs sits squarely in the center. Despite the dinginess of this establishment, this small lounge in the wine cellar is quite cozy, and well stocked with clean mugs and plenty of bottles and kegs to choose from.

And that's all I have to say about that.
