It's like 500ft. I think. If you get closer you see a symbol on the door, but the badger minstrels will cease their playing and implore you to wait for their mistresses to return.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Also, there is a second door to the palace, far off to the side. It's a bit hidden by angles, mostly blocked by one of the aforementioned towers, but if you walk along the veranda before the palace you would certainly see it.
(ooc: I think Randy and Ethan are busy with school irl or something but unless we have a solid 3 or 4 players going forward... it's up to you want you want to do. I willing to continue but we might need more players.)

(My friends, I am willing to rejoin with Piccolo but only if we have active players that aren't ghosting the group, or posting so sparsely that it is just outright frustrating. just my own feelings on things.)
Due to a slowdown in posting activity by multiple players, recruiting is re-opened.

Right now the party is in the feywild (section from WbtW) prepping to do some AL adventures for high level (teir 4) play. You'll try to stop an Elder Evil and prevent Szazz Tam from ascending ro god hood.
This game is already under way, so you could start today. Just send me a pm with a link to your level 15 character. I'll approve it and send a link to join and you can start posting here.
We haven't started using 2024 rumes yet, but I'm open to it. I've read the. I think they're an improvement. I can't share that content, though, but we can play with the rules for it either way, just some manual tracking or editing to character sheets needed. If you have a preference for one like over the other at any time, just let me know.
Tesservett notices the partially hidden door and leads that way. “Curious. Towers. Envy and wrath.”. He mutters to himself. “Shall we proceed or wait?”.
"Maybe we should try to sneak in as the names Envy and Wrath sound ominous?"
Trisk follows Tesservett over to the hidden door.

The doors swing open to reveal a crystal carriage hitched to a pair of glass statues shaped like pegasi. Folded silk butterfly wings are attached to the roof of the carriage.
The carriage’s doors are sealed shut, with no handles, hinges, or keyholes.
The carriage’s crystal structure is mostly opaque except for its windows. Anyone who looks through a carriage window spots an ornate glass key resting on the seat inside.
The wizard looks at the carriage with awe. “**wow, now this is a beautiful carriage. Probably magic. I bet it flies. Now that’s the way to travel in style. Not my style, but somebody’s. My sister would like this, whenever she is. I suppose we could try to see if it goes. Or keep looking for a way into the towers? . I am frustrated I can’t figure out the riddle. I’m afraid Im even more befuddled than I was before.. well whatever happened**.”. his voice trails off and he starts muttering words while staring intently at the carriage. “**open sesame… abracadabra, mellon, Alexa open carriage… heySiri opendoor** .”.

"Amazing! It's beautifully crafted but I don't see how we can get inside." Upon hearing Tesservett start guessing at magic words and phrases that night gain them access Trisk will look around the carriage searching for any runes or writing carved into it, and look through one of the windows. "Hey, there's a key inside. Only if we could get that out somehow."
Perception: 18
"Maybe whoever lives here will take us for a ride? Either way this isn't an entrance so we need to keep looking for another way in or go back to the main entrance." Trisk scratches his head trying to figure out what they should do or where they should go next and can't help but stifle a yawn. "And I need some sleep soon. I am completely knackered from that whole ordeal in the doom vault."

From the outside you can tell the carriage house is between two turrets of the castle. Now from the inside you surmize those are the round walls of the carriage house. At the far corner are two more doors, one to the right, the other straight ahead. The doors are within 10ft of each other.
It's like 500ft. I think. If you get closer you see a symbol on the door, but the badger minstrels will cease their playing and implore you to wait for their mistresses to return.
I advise you to ignore them.
(Symbol on the door)
<bump>
Anyone there?
Trisk racks his memory to see if he recognizes the symbol on the door.
History: 24
"Does anyone else know anything about this symbol on the door?"
Yiu recall the rhyme written on the wall by the gate: "The lion or the hart must wear the crown. But which one should it weigh down?"
<a hart is a deer.>
This, in turn, reminds you if the hand holding a crown above the surface of the pond.
You wonder if this relates to the towers, which are marked "Envy" and "Wrath," respectively.
Also, there is a second door to the palace, far off to the side. It's a bit hidden by angles, mostly blocked by one of the aforementioned towers, but if you walk along the veranda before the palace you would certainly see it.
That other door is unlocked

Agrees. I'll recruit more tomorrow or Friday. I have to quickly onboard new recruits to the Iggwilv campaign.
