Khessa does not expect other mages around, after the defeat of the Red Wizards, so she assumes Rezmir just locked the door - either to rest... or because chatty-mother Tiamat warned her as well (but Khessa does not think this is likely... Rezmir would have raised a red alert and the dragon's army would have come to kill the intruders).
So the blonde arcane warrior just asks: "Zale? Do you think you can pick this lock?"
While Zale (hopefully) tries to pick the lock, Khessa tries to estimate how strong the door is. Would a very strong woman, like Khessa, have any chance of breaking it down with a lucky shoulder charge? Or does the door seem particularly sturdy compared to the others seen in the fortress?

This door doesn't seem very different from other doors in the castle. However, it should be noted that everything here is built on the scale of Giants. The doors are large and sturdy, meant to withstand the power of Giants. It would be a huge challenge for a Human to break open the door with a lucky shoulder charge.
Khessa consults with Eric: "It seems that there is a compromise we must make, my love. Either we use some of your powerful magic, to enter by modifying the rock - and perhaps that way we can still surprise those in the room... or I try to break down the door and keep your magic - but then, even if I succeed, the surprise effect is certainly lost".
"Or I can try to knock and sell us as a Cultist with a message for Rezmir" is the last idea that comes to the blonde arcane warrior's mind. "And if they open the door believing us to be Cultists, we can still surprise them with an unexpected attack".
"You are the wisest among us," the tall adventuress concludes, her blue eyes locking with his "which of these options seems better to you?"
The dwarf mumbles, "I think the more we wait, the worst thing can get, moreover my dear" he trurns to both the ladies "your strength has grown enough and I feel there is no such need to save my power for later"
said so Eric poses his hand on the wall adjacent to the door and where his hands pass, fissures in the stone wall appear, shaping another door into the stone wall.
Zale nearly rushes into the room blindly, only to have Eric warn her against that idea. Perhaps he has a cure for this darkness? Growling, she grips her Rapier, prepared to rush in and strike at whatever is in there after Eric makes his move.
Whether or not Eric succeeds in dispelling the darkness, Zale will rush in and attempt to attack the thing after Eric's turn.

The door is locked, but not magical.
Zale: It looks like an intricate lock.

Zale leans closer to the lock, thinking. It could very well be trapped....

If she finds a trap she will attempt to disarm it.
Slight of hand: 21
If she sees nothing, she will pick the lock.

But you can certainly try.
Doesn't look trapped. Just locked. It doesn't open however.
Eric: with your passive Perception you hear someone shuffling in the room (other can do a check DC 14 to notice).

"Someone is shuffling in the room..." Khessa notes "No idea what this means, but we can't just stay here forever..."
[[ OOC: Khessa tries to Help Zale with the lock, if a retry is possible. ]]
If help is possible: 14
(Well...maybe Zale is to short to reach the giant sized lock on the giant sized door XD)
Help is possible, but it doesn't seem to... help...
Eric, if detect magic is still up (I think so) you notice some evocation magic in the room.

OCC: Eric casts Stone Shape
Khessa stands ready, and if Eric's powerful spell manages to allow the party access, she rushes in as soon as possible, ready to attack Rezmir.
Eric's door gives Khessa access to room filled with darkness (Magical DarknessTM).
