( guess Eberks God doesn’t like you much either, lol….you never said what you used to attack with. You are not close enough to hit melee at H18, maybe you meant the block next to Eberk?)

Sparhawks moves forward with confidence into battle with Bernard and swings his long sword with divine backing…somewhat. He lands a good blow and there is a fizzle of divine energy that accompanied it. The blow definitely got Bernards attention.

” oooooh, that’s smarts e bit, are you this dwarf’s lover? Eh? Shiny boy?”

After years of growing up and being bullied by his fellow knights and soldiers, this is no problem. "Oh Bernard," Sparhawk says with mock affection, "I'm hoping to make you my new pet. You're so cute when you're rude. By the way, I love what you’ve done with your hair. How do you get it to come out of your nostrils like that?"

“ what e nice complement…I guess your not all bad…even if you wear Uthgardt women’s clothing…”

Frangipani looks around and can't see anyone else down so chances a flick of her ever-wet hair in the bugbears direction, as the droplets travel towards him they turn green and sickly.

Poison Spray: DC 12 or 1 Poison.

Eberk pulls out his warhammer and swings at Bernard.

Attack: 15 Damage: 10

The ethereal mace also swings at the bugbear.

Attack: 22 Damage: 9

Frangipani flicks some poison onto Bernard but it has no effect on the Brute. Eberk swings his warhammer hoping to catch Bernard when Frangipani hits him with her poison spray, but Bernard parries it easily. The spiritual weapon though,  strikes home. Bashing him with a mighty blow, staggering him a bit.

Bernard looks to be hurt, his confidence seems to wain for a second as he looks around seeing he is nearly surrounded. He yells out a particularly nasty goblin curse and with a surge of anger and an eye for revenge will strike once at Eberk and then Sparhawk.

Bernards first swing is mighty indeed and the nasty spiked ball smashes Eberk to the ground unconscious. Then he whips the chain and ball towards Sparhawk, but it gets parried.

From somewhere in the trees, you hear the Assassin say, “ well, I suppose I should thank ye for the promotion I am about to receive…”      
After that is silence.

Goblin 5, hearing the curse of Bernard will flee west and hide when reaches the end of his movement

Sorsha 

"Unbelivable." Sorsha mutters to herself and messages Ruhm to fly back.

Sorsha then wills the tentacle to slide towards Bernard (E20) and thrash at the bugbear.

Tentacle: 11  Cold: 8

Sorsha then turns her tentacle-shaped wand on Bernard and fires another beam of eldritch blue force towards him.

Eldritch blast: 7 Force: 6

She then takes cover behind the tree from the still hiding assassin.

Sorshas tentacle swiftly slithers across the ground to strike at the weakening bugbear, but Bernard is crafty and avoids the tentacles swing. Sorshas eldritch blast just nicks his shoulder.

Bjorn stares agog at the bugbear's agility. But having heard the man speaking, shouting commands, and now swearing in the goblin tongue, he thinks he can successfully mimic him, at least for a moment.

He ducks next to the wagon (L14), hoping not to be seen by the archer who shot at him, floats his crystal focus, and casts Minor Illusion to create the sound of Bernard shouting from near Bernard's location (K19).

"I'll handle these idiots!" shouts the illusory voice. "The rest of you lot, go and catch our runaway loot! If I sees ya shoot one more bolt or arrow and it ain't at that damned minotaur, I'll smash yer head in meself!"

Bjorn then pockets the crystal and resumes his run towards the sniper (H14).

Sparhawk looks at the Bugbear, "I think you should surrender Bernard!"  Sparhawk prays to his goddess, this foe and his friends have caused a great deal of strife. He remembers what he read about the allusiveness of bugbears and used Bernards strange but quick movements to anticipate his next blow.

He summons his might, striking the Bugbear (to subdue/ knock out) Attack: Attack: 10 Damage: 11
