Seth goes back to his shop, you all retrieve the cart and coins then make your way back to the docks, avoiding the Boil on the way back. (If you want to sell the swords you may, or claim them, whichever you all prefer.)
It is around 2pm when you make your way to the docks and before reaching dock 16, you see Quint talking to a group of adventurers. You can hear them shouting as you're about 150ft away. Raised voices can be heard on the docks:
"We're supposed to be on this boat! We won't get paid you old oaf!"says one adventurer.
Quint says, "Well, if you insist then try our homemade ale. That should be a good indicator of how my boat operates!"You see what looks like a dwarf with strange looking armor produce a bottle and offers it to the leader the he takes a drink.
He vomits. "What is this, poison?!"
Quint says, "It's the ale we have on board. Well, hurry up and get on board."
"Go to Hell old man, we'll find a ship that's missing crew and join with them." He tosses the bottle to the dwarf as the dwarf goes towards Dock 16.
"If you insist, you won't reconsider?"says Quint. Before he can finish his sentence, the adventurers walk toward the party, passing them, and grumbling as they pass you all by. The guy who drank the liquid gags again after they pass you.
Quint sees you all, "Ah, welcome back and right on time. Come on let's get a move on."He inspects the cart and is satisfied that everything was stocked, then leads you all towards Dock 16. As you pass the other docks, you see a variety of ships, most in poor shape. Some are no better than large fishing boats with a pair of cannons on them. Others look at least seaworthy, but have damaged sails and old looking rigging. Quint leads you to Dock 16 and you finally see your ship.
Quint wasn't lying, it looks far better than the other ships you all passed. It is made from fine wood and looks formidable. There are random crew members walking around doing last minute preparations as you all wheel the cart into the main deck.
He greets you all and says, "Welcome aboard! Stow that lot away, and while you're at it, think of a name for this ship. It's bad luck to sail without one. I'll see you all in a bit after you're done. Then we set sail."You all begin helping the crew stow everything away.
Main Deck: At the bow, there is a long wooden stake sticking out parallel to the boat for ramming into other ships. There is one large main sail made of canvas and two smaller backup sails, all attached to the mast with finely woven rigging made from thick hemp rope. At the top of the mast is the Crow's Nest with two hemp, woven "ladders" and one rope going down the length of the mast. It appears it can comfortably hold 1-2 crew, but can fit up to 4. You can see there are 6 cannons on both the starboard and port sides. Towards the stern you see a raised platform that has the helm and poop deck with a door to the Captains Cabin. The helm itself is quite large and takes 2 crew to operate it, although 1 probably could manage if they were sufficiently strong enough. On the deck itself you see extra ropes, an extra sail, other extra supplies, and cannonballs neatly stacked in a small pyramid by each cannon.
Mid Deck: You all help the other crew unload supplies into the galley, where there are many types of citrus fruits, hardtac, cheeses, herbs, dried meats and fish, plenty of fresh water, as well as plenty of rum and ale from Leodel. In the center of the galley is one large communal wooden table with a bench on both sides and a small kitchen area in the stern section. Also in the stern section, you see the crew living quarters, where officers stay. Each room is quite small, but comfortably fits two people on hammocks and has basic necessities. There is also a table with a map and navigation tools. Toward the middle section, you see small portholes on both sides of the ship and hammocks in stacks of two that are used for regular crew members, each set of hammocks has a small box for personal belongings of the two bunk mates. In the bow section of the ship, you see a table and supplies used for what you assume is a medical bay.
Bottom deck: As you continue unloading supplies, the bottom deck is used exclusively for storage and ballast where there is a mound of gravel and shovels for moving it around. You see kegs of powder, extra food, wooden planks, oars, buckets, ropes, and different looking ammunition for the cannons. In addition to extra solid shot cannonballs, you see canister shot (explosive rounds), grapeshot (cylindrical metal cans with large ball bearings inside, basically equivalent to shotgun shells), as well as several sets of twin cannonballs attached together with a chain fused to each one. Putting some barrels of food away, you all see a dwarf with red hair and a thick, long red beard tied into knots putting things away. He is wearing forks and spoons on a padded cloth armor which functions as chainmail and has a large metal meat tenderizer on his back. Forks and spoons jingle as he works. "Hello! I'm Kruncheälog, travelling divine culinary artist and cook for this ship! But call me Krunchy please. Here, try!" He puts a bottle of putrid looking liquid on a barrel, it's the same bottle that the adventurer drank from earlier. "Ban and Xander, is that you? Oh what the fork! I didn't expect to see you here!"
Quint comes down below to the Bottom Deck, "Not now Krunchy, we need to get ready to raise anchor. You all pick rooms together in the officers quarters, 2 per room. After that meet me on the Main deck and we'll get going."
The boat slightly sways as the tide starts shifting. Go ahead and decide on a name, pick a roommate, and RP if you wish, then we'll continue on the Main Deck.
Milo bows over to Krunchy. His Hat again covers him while doing that. "Greetings, Mr. Krunchy, it's a pleasure to meet you. And you already know Mr Grumpy and the lady? That must be fate! That's amazing. Oh, and you have...something to drink? Interesting, let me try!" Regardless of losses, Milo takes a big sip of it.
OOC: How does it taste? Will the contents of my stomach turn?
"It's good to see you again Krunchy. Let's talk more after the meet and greet, you coming Ban?"Xander Drags his chest into the room and heads to the main deck for the meeting.

Every fiber of your being tells you to spit it out. It tastes rotten, smells like death, and has bits of crunchy material in it. In an instant you understand why the adventurer vomited immediately since he swallowed it.
Krunchy looks extremely excited that you're attempting to try it.
Krunchy nods in understanding to Xander, "Quint isn't one to be kept waiting! See you later!"
Ruffling the back of her hair, "Hey hey. Krunch, it's been a while. Good to see you, but it seems we've gotta run."
Knitting her hands behind her back, Ban sheepishly kicks the wooden floor, twisting her foot on the tip. Looking up through some loose bangs:
"So, uh, you and me to a room, Xander? Don't get any ideas, I just don't know the other guys. Not that they'd keep anything they'd like if they tried anything and all, but it's just easier if we share a room. Ya know?"

”Would you like to bunk, sir Milo? Your stories are fantastic inspiration fir my artworks.” This is the first time any of you have actually heard Raphael speak. He speaks in a smooth voice, though he speaks quickly, with sharp inflections.
DM:
Raphael will take the bandits’ short swords and sell them. He is looking to get his weapons silvered as he doesnt own any magical weapons, but can’t addord it right now, so he’s working towards that goal. He most likely runs out of time however before they depart.

While saying that, the pain in his stomach rises, so he can't be completely serious about this.

"Tssk. Large busts get in the way. Who wants those things flopping around every which way?" Ban states as she leaves in a huff for the main deck.
OOC: Ban, my apologies, as a female you may have a room to yourself if you wish. There is adequate room. Krunchy appears to be happy that you even tried it. Most people refuse! You gained just gained a lifelong friend.
Raphael, judging from the map on the Navigator table, you see there are multiple ports and outposts marked on the islands, so if you happen to find enough money for silvering then finding a place to do it will be easy enough.
The map shows an archipelago with Black Root and Tarant on the main continent to the North West with Dernholm on a smaller continent to the South East. The Isle of Despair is a small island marked to the South West.
(Map coming soon)
With the map that you all found among the possessions of the bandit leader in the Boil, everyone may roll Investigation to see if you can find a matching island on the main map.
Ban, with your Thieves' Cant you may roll Insight as well w/ Advantage to decipher the strange markings in the margins.
While you all finish up claiming rooms, Quint sees the map laid out on the world map and says, "An unmarked island isolated in the ocean with an X in the center. It's a bit cliché, but this was clearly made by a thief or pirate looking to hide their booty out of sight to reclaim later. I don't recognize the place myself on the map, but it's something we should definitely look into. I have other preparations to make in storage, but investigate it further and report back to me." He walks down to storage to make a final inspection of the cargo.
