I mean to be fair, we have a half-orc that only wants to stronger and fight things, a nervous wreak fresh out of druid college unpaid intern, a person who's every sentence is food related (never-mind he made his roll, good job), and a wizard who only talks about dusty old stuff in the party. Not the most charismatic bunch.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trying one more time and this time Smiling in such a way that his tusks began to really show in his mouth Ugg decided to do what normally never fails to get an answer, growling.
"Did anyone leave here, you workers notice things others don't. Tell me what you know!"

Varth goes towards the sage and tries to engage him in a conversation regarding the ruins.
"Hello there, fellow scholar of the ancients! What new learnings have you determined from this place? Anything of note that you may be able to confer or have a conversation about?"
UGG: Haha nicely done! Intimidation wins the day. TWO POINTS and TWO bits of information for our orc friend who is trying REALLY hard. The men and women who are working here are locals. They all know Hob's Crossing well, and they tell you stories of horrible sounds they've been hearing, objects moving on their own accord, and ghastly figures appearing out of thin air. Their only concern is to finish their jobs and returning to the local tavern to drink and eat. They also mention that, yes, another cleric was supposed to come to the camp..but he never arrived, but soon gave up on looking for him because people are too afraid to wander off on a search. Terrified, they return to their work.
TOTAL INFLUENCE: 3
VARTH: Korvex the Sage looks at you as if you are in the middle of telling a joke, makes a shooing gesture with his hand, and returns to his work. You're going to have to do better than that, i'm afraid, Varth.
PHIL: The Lead Excavator, noticing your nervousness, doesn't take you very seriously - in fact, he looks slightly annoyed that his work has been interrupted. "Yes." He says, "We got your letter..." and returns to his work.
HAM: "Ah!" One of the nobility says, "What have we here?" They are immediately attracted to your personality and offer, taking it gladly, looking for any excuse to take their minds off the current situation of the tomb. Kristoff Carlyle is one of the nobles, a tall, lanky dark-haired older man. A decorated warrior of 15 years. He is excited about the possibilities for exploration and adventure within the tomb, and believes it leads to a lost subterranean city.
Edard Grumsh, on the other hand, thinks this whole thing is a hoax. He's a short, stout, ginger-bearded man who comes from a long line of successful merchants. He is not superstitious at all, and believes this might be a future business opportunity for him.

Phil puffs out his chest, and says in a brash tone to match the excavators
”Good, then you know that were the only damn re-enforcements you guys are going to get for a long while, so tell us what we can expect to find in this tomb, and we can get to clearing it out!”
PHIL: "Very well.." The Lead Excavator sighs, "I am Thorvil Ent." He is a short emaciated man, frail. He is usually friendly, but times like this have him very focused. He has a long dark-brown braided beard and bald. He has a tribal tattoo of serpents on his face. He explains that he's studied archaeology and knows something of local history and folklore. He believes the tomb is well over 500,000 years old, which is well before humans here became civilized.
With 5 influence points earned, the story progresses forward, switching to Varth:
Varth, you notice that Korvex the Sage is the only man actually touching the outside of the tomb. With his bare hands, no less. He is feeling the raised markings of the tomb. He has a leathery book lying open upon some rocks at his feet. It looks like he is trying to interpret the glyphs he's touching. The symbols look both undulant and sharply angled, occationally curved, yet altogether alien to the languages of this world.
He mentions that his bother, Zirnakanan, also a sorcerer, practices demonology and black magic, and will be here shortly to give final blessings to open the door of the tomb and let you all in, as mentioned earlier.
Korvex turns to you, Varth, feeling weak and complains of a migraine. He moves away from the tomb wall in order to rest, hoping to feel better soon and continue deciphering the glyphs upon the tombs surface.
Returning to the others Ugg was smiling at his success in finding out information. His toothy grin looking more like a grimace than a smile to the casual observer. Bursting with excitement he loudly began talking.
"Hey, The workers over there said that a cleric was supposed to be coming to the site here but he hasn't shown up yet. Do you think it might be the rotter with the stinky worms in him that we saw a little ways back? Also they said that things around here have been moving on their own and ghostly figures keep appearing and disappearing, think we will see some ghosts!?"

Should be an entertaining time, don't you think? Ah, the magic of role-playing.

Varth, roll a d6 for me, please.
Judas whispers to Varth “someone’s got to tell him we found his brother, Zirnakanan, back there on the road...”
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

From the distance, you can see Zirnakanan approaching. The sea of people part as he approaches the tomb.
(UPDATING ASAP)
d6 roll: 3
Varth, you feel the sudden overwhelming urge to vomit along with dizziness. If you don't do something quick, you're going to puke all over Korvex.
Lets have you make a CON check and see what happens.
CON save: 18
You turn in the wrong direction, puking too close for comfort near a bunch of workers as Zirnakanan approaches. He looks at you with disgust.
"THIS is the best they had to offer...?" He says.
