Sorry a little confused here. How many of those things are coming? Ayrlin idea is to disable the trap, get everyone to the other side, activate it and let the enemirs fall in it. Now if we need three rounds it’s too late but if we have hundreds of that creatures maybe it worth a try. If there are only two we can fight them and decide what to do later.
I will post his actions later but here is his initiative, 8

Lots and lots of the little red Chompas!
Oki doki, clarification on the number of them. There are two distinct groups. The smaller group [about 11 of them now] they will reach you this coming round. Then there is a much, much larger group about 5 rounds behind them, [100+] more than you think you could all fight.
Your plan is a good one. You think it will take all of you 1 round to get across the gap after you deactivate the trap. So you have 3 or 4 rounds to do your bit and one round to cross, one round to prime the trap again. Then the second wave of nasty red things will be on you, or fall into the trap if your plan works :)

"A good idea, we will buy you time!" Kaz yells back to the elf. As the red tide bears closer to them, she sets her feet readying herself to deflect and defend against the coming attacks.

Xorin smiles a little as his target crumbles into little chunks of frozen meat. "Make it quick, Ayrlin. These things are fast." he prepares another spell...

"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow" "No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Xorin raises both hands in front of him, this time with some red arcane energy flicking around them. He also steps back, trying to judge if he has 15 feet or more between the front line and the trap behind them.
How much space do we have between our front line and the trap we're trying to disarm?
OOC: Apologies, Big Weekend, was also waiting for Grigor to update on what he was doing this coming round. Updating later today. Current marching order; Kasandra, Braddik, and Corvus hodling the line against the Red Terrors, Girgor and Xorin in the middle slinging magical artillery, and Ayrlin and Earling working on the traps workings and a way out.
Earling lends his assistance to Ayrlin again Thieves Tools 1d20+5[/roll]
The Chompas keep coming and split into four groups, 3 of the nasty little creatures attack Kasandra, Braddik, and Corus. The remaining two red balls of death squeeze through the gaps and make a bee line for the Wizards.
Kasandra gets first strike!
The creatures have AC 12 and appear move as a pack.

Mwhaahahahahahaah!
Thanks for the clarification!
Do we all agree to follow that plan? 100 seems too much for starters... ;)
“Earling!” Yells Ayrlin “a hand here!” He points to the mechanism he had discovered.

I don’t know wich one of us, Earling or Ayrlin has the better skill. In case is Earling, Ayrlin will help him (hopefully) to give him advantage.
In case is the other way around and he success to give Ayrlin advantage: 7
