(Zlee attacks the last Goblin near the Brazier, hurling a Javelin that gets stuck in its thigh! The Goblin howls in pain, but takes a shot at Cinder.)
Attack: 21 Damage: 3
(Cinder is still raging, so he shrugs off the arrow.) DM note: Took half damage.
(The other 2 Goblins near the wall takes shots at Manikin and Thistle.)
Attack on Manikin: Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Attack on Thistle: Attack: 8 Damage: 4
(Thistle dodges the attack, but Manikin takes an arrow in the bicep area, wounding him pretty badly.) Casts a well-timed Shield to protect himself from an arrow that was going right at him.)
(Thistle decides to attack one of the Goblins near the wall.)
Attack: 20 Damage: 4
(Thistle manages to hit that Goblin in the shoulder!)
Manikin, you're up.
DMs note: Sorry about the delay and thanks for sticking with it, guys. I promise, fighting Goblins won't be the only thing you guys get to do on this adventure.
Manikin uses his reaction to cast Shield as the arrow flies towards him, it thuds against the wall of force. Manikin will return fire with a Fire Bolt for 10 to hit and 7 damage
(Manikin's Fire Bolt misses one of the Goblins by mere inches, singeing a couple of hairs off the top of his head, but the Goblin is unharmed otherwise.)
Cinder turns towards the goblin that shot him, his eyes literally aflame with rage. He charges the goblin, swinging for its head with his first handaxe.
Attack: 20 Damage: 5
If the goblin dies, he turns and charges towards the next closest, cleaving at it with his second handaxe or throwing it if he doesn't reach melee range. If the goblin still lives, he attacks it instead.
Attack: 9 Damage: 6
I rolled with disadvantage just in case the goblin is more than 20 ft away if he's throwing the handaxe. The low roll was the first one, so it's the same either way.
(Cinder's Handaxe finishes off the last injured Goblin near the Brazier. He runs back at the Goblins near the walls and throws his Handaxe at one of the Goblins near the wall, who dodges out of the way.)
DM's note: 1 full health Goblin and 1 injured Goblin near the wall are all that's left. Zlee, you're up.
(Zlee runs over to the previously unhurt Goblin and cleaves into his head, blood spurting everywhere, as the Goblin falls over, dead. The final Goblin is shaking in his boots, but whips out his Scimitar and runs at Manikin!)
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
(Manikin tries to deflect it, but the sword catches him on the left arm.)
(Thistle takes out his Shortsword and rushes the final Goblin.)
Attack: 21 Damage: 5
(The final Goblin goes down with a whimper. You all are left in the room with 5 dead Goblin bodies. A small fire still burns at the brazier.)
DM's note: You've solved my Goblin puzzle! :) Ok, you're in the room, go ahead and give me 2 Perception checks to keep things rolling. If you all want to examine something, you have to be specific. I'll give you guys some info depending on your Perception Check. Also, a short rest might be a good idea, as a couple of you all are hurt, plus replenishing a spell slot would be helpful.

Cinder, chest heaving, looks around the room for more enemies. Seeing none he visibly struggles to regain himself. Once he succeeds he straightens and says, "Well, that was bracing."
He then goes to retrieve his thrown handaxe as he looks around the room.
(As you all get your bearings, you look around the dark room. There's the hallway behind you from where you came, the Northern wall, where there seems to be some carvings on the wall, the Southern wall that looks plain, and the Eastern wall which looks plain as well. The brazier is on a platform and is giving off some faint light.)
Spoiler for Manikin:
As you look, you also see that the East wall has some vines and other vegetation growing around it. The North wall has 2 sections: 1 appears to be drawings etched into the stone, the other is drawings and quite a bit of writing. The Goblins you've just defeated seem to have been cooking their meals at the brazier.
What do you do?

"Those markings there, I wonder what they are? If they were made by the goblins it could provide further insight into their motives for taking the girl and help us ascertain her status." Cinder approaches the northern wall and studies the markings.
(As you inspect the North Wall, you see that the carvings are pretty large and seem to depict several different scenes that show what appears to be an order of knights in several battles. In one of them, the knights are shown defeating what appears to be an army of Goblins, led by a particularly vicious looking, larger Goblin. The next carving shows the knights standing victorious over a field of dead Goblin bodies. As you see one of the other depictions, they show a huge Dragon terrorizing a village, burning homes and killing innocent villagers with vicious fire. The next mural shows the knights slaying the Dragon. The knights are all shown with matching insignia on their armor and shields.
As you go further along the northern wall, following and inspecting the murals, you see a large carving of a very regal-looking knight. His armor looks more intricate than the rest, making you all think he might have been the leader or founder. Underneath, the name 'Sextus Varius' is inscribed. Next to him, there is a further inscription that reads as follows:
"I pledge to serve law, protect the innocent, battle the agents of chaos, and never reveal the secrets of the Delian Order. My word is my bond, my life and honor is for the order, for this night and all nights to come."
This seems to be the extent of what is on the northern wall.)

"It seems this place is dedicated, in some way, to an order of knights. I wonder how it came to be occupied by goblins?" Cinder searches his memory for anything he learned about the Delian Order in his studies.
As you look at the mural then look at the brazier in the middle of the room, you vaguely remember hearing about how, in olden days, people would bring offerings to the tombs of patron orders of knights. This seems to you to be the case, which would mean this is some sort of tomb for the order of knights depicted. You don't remember or know which particular Order this would be.
"This appears to be a tomb dedicated to the Delian Order. This mural depicts some of their great accomplishments and this man depicted at the end, Sextus Varius, seems to have been their founder or, at least, one of their notable leaders. Fascinating! I've never come across this order in my studies, although they have tomb so close to the city. They are either very old and long forgotten, or information on their order has been kept secret for some reason." Cinder searches his pack for a moment. "Ashes! I've appeared to have forgotten my writing utensils, I'd love to be able to take an etching or drawing of some of these..." He goes on for a while on the details of the murals before the sight of a goblin corpse reminds him of their original purpose for this adventure.
"Well, shall we continue further to search for the child?"
Sorry guys, I think we lost Cinder, too. I'll roll for him this time.
(Cinder lets out a scream of RAGE and runs with his handaxes towards the Goblins near the Brazier. He ferociously attacks one of them.)
Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Attack: 7 Damage: 9
(The first Handaxe splits the Goblin's head in two, but the second Handaxe goes wide of the last Goblin at the Brazier.)
