Greetings one and all. I am Gui Peligroso (Pronounced "Goo" or "goo-G").
I have around 5 years of experience in hosting games and would like to get back into it.
I am looking for 3 players with the ability to post at least a few times a week. (I understand jobs eat up time and that's why I'm going for a PBP game.)
As for characters, Any race and class is okay. Homebrew is fine so long as you run it by me so I can look it over.
THEMES
The story will be a combination of Role playing, combat, questing, and adventure.
Technology is around WWI era, in a world where magic and dragons still exist. (Akin to shadowrun before the advent of computers.)
Using 5th edition rules and stats.
Will be using Discord to post the game.

Pick a race, Class, and name.
You are level 1.
Roll Stats, 3D6 drop the lowest.
Come up with a short backstory as to why you (Your character) is on their way to the capitol of Dreim.

PROLOG
Long ago a man sacrificed the town of corkwood and became a lich, and raised an undead army to control Dreim.
But five survivors of the town set forth and fought against the Lich, gathering relics to bring his eternal life to an end.
The survivors had proven more cunning then thought and sealed the lich away with his own spell, petrified for the rest of time.

Name: Verrus. Race: Tiefling Class: sorceror Alignment Chaotic good
Backstory:
Verrus comes from a small town west of Dreim by the name of noughtharse, he came from a modest family his father being a distant decendant of a copper dragon that had mated with a tieflibg while transformed many generations ago, they maintained a bit of wealth from the union however they did not,want to draw attention to themselves both being tieflings and of draconic descent. Verrus was a painter and did not,know of his magical powers until somewhat recently. He was on his way home from the tavern one night when his family was accosted by a band of thieves. As they came under attack Verrus unleashed a spray of acid on the one thieves face. Verrus went on to defeat the rest of the band, even making his way to an encampment of them not far from his town and driving them away from noughtharse. Verrus was still young and the fame of being the town savior went to his head,leading to several incidents with locals which have him,rather unwelcome,in his home town. He made his way east towards the Dreim hoping to find fortune and a new life. Having read a bit about the trapped lich in his studies about his powers, Verrus is curious as to what he might find.

The Character:
Iznik Syldithas - Half-elf (drow) Blood Hunter
After seeing his village and family decimated by strange infernal beasts and undead, Iznik swore vengeance against all fiends and undead. He hopes to rid the world of such beasts to spare others from suffering a similar tortured fate.
As for stats I mistyped and put three instead of four. So go ahead and reroll stats and let me know if you are still interested. ( I'll be sending out the discord links via private messages. )
Backstory: I was abandoned as a baby and found by a traveling family in the woods with a mother deer protecting me. That’s where I got the name Fawn. My middle name, Grey, was because of my light grey eyes. I relized I had magic around the age of three, but I didn’t tell anyone. My parents found out when a wolf followed me home one day and I told them I could communicate with nature. They threw me out and I just wandered the woods for years. I am traveling to every city I know to try and find my real family.

Dreim is a big place. Big enough to get lost...and for Maya, that sounds like a dream come true. Hounded and hunted for her beliefs, she has escaped persecution to come here where she intends to lay low and try to find out what became of any survivors of her order.
Born the son of two scribes. Raised to believe in the power books can bestow on anyone. Father died when he was 5, mother died when he was 17 while on the road with him at the hands of Kirsala the Fearsome. The Great Old One was drawn to his anguish and bestowed his first gift onto him. He discovered his telepathy as watched his mother die. He was found on the road by traders and taken to the next city. He was distraught and spent days awake at a library struggling to find ways to gain power. He rapidly realized money was the secret to accessing powerful books. After the 5th day awake with no success he screamed internally for someone, something to help and then, he heard a voice in his mind. "Survive. Learn. Power." He gave himself a new name, having no worldly connections; Kerris, and lived by that name alone ever since. He spent the next 6 years on the streets, using his telepathy to swindle coin off of unsuspecting rich people in card games. He had begun to believe the voice had been a figment of his imagination when he heard it again, "Leave. Soon. Power. Vengeange." He packed up and left later that week without a word to anyone who knew him. He never gave up the desire for vengeance, and now he had a path forward. He always tries to buy powerful books wherever he can go to learn about the Great Old One, but discreetly. False Identity Kerris: Son of a trader. Learned some magic when at sea with a wizard. Hated the idea of a normal life and left to seek adventure and fortune.
