Having listened to everybody's suggestions and comments, Vart also stands up and says
"I have been asked to go on this quest and xxxx(lots of words in another language) - ah that's right material rewards are not important, one finds oneself though a journey such as this. Money is only useful if it helps in our quest. I am happy for the money to be kept in trust and spent as the party needs - but let us begin."

Syndra takes you to her garden and on the ground is a large stone circle etched with magical runes. As you all gather inside, Syndra starts to chant as the runes begin to glow a soft silver/gold color. As she increases the tempo of her spell the runes glow brighter and brighter. You hear a loud pop and see a bright flash.
You appear in a tropical city under the blazing sun. The familiar sounds of a harbor — creaking ropes, slapping waves, heavy barrels rolling across cobblestones — mingle with voices shouting and cursing in an unfamiliar language filled with clicks, inhalations, and singsongy words that make it sound almost musical. The aroma of unfamiliar spices and tropical fruit mixes with the wharfside smells of fish, tar, and canvas.
Beyond all that, Port Nyanzaru is an explosion of color. Buildings are painted in bright shades of blue, green, orange, and salmon pink, or their walls are adorned with murals portraying giant reptiles and mythical heroes. Every building sports baskets and clay urns of colorful flowers or is draped in leafy, flowering vines. Minstrels in bright clothing adorned with feathers and shells perform on street corners. Multicolored pennants and sun awnings flutter atop the city walls. A crowd of children dressed in feathered hats and capes races past you, squealing in delighted terror as a street performer costumed as a big-toothed lizard stomps and roars behind them. The whole city seems to be bustling, sweating, laughing, swearing, and singing.
Standing close to where you appear is a large Chultan man, a little over six feet in height wearing a silk white robe with gold along the edges and a large white turban to match. He smiles as you appear and bows. "Ah, Syndra, Twice in one week. The gods have blessed me this day." He looks over the group and holds out his arms. "Friends, Welcome to Port Nyanzaru. I am Wakanga O'Tamu, one of the seven Merchant Princes of Port Nyanzaru. It is a pleasure to meet you all."(He speaks like a southern gentleman would speak)
Standing next to Wakanga is a Half-Elf, wearing leather armor. A short sword and rapier strapped to his hips, a longbow on his back and a light crossbow as well. Surrounding them are six Chultan guards. Each with a hide shield and spear, all of them wearing leather armor.
Wakanga points to the Half-Elf, "This is my friend Elvoril, Syndra sent him here yesterday. He will be joining you on your expedition."Wakanga walks over to Syndra and gives her a hug. "Don't worry friend, I gave him the tour of the city and told him what he needs to know to have a good chance of success in the jungle. It is up to them now."Wakanga clasps Elvoril's arm and bows. "It was a pleasure Elvoril, You know where I live and you know where my shop is if you need anything. I am going to take Syndra back to my villa so she may rest. She doesn't say it but casting that teleport spell drains a lot of her strength."
Syndra looks at the party and gives a nod. "I will be staying at Wakanga's villa, so when this is all over or if you need me you can find me there. I suggest you gear up before heading into the jungle and I would wait until the morning. The jungle is very dangerous at night. I'm sure Elvoril will be able to show you where things are in the city. Good luck to you all and my Tyr favor you in your journey."
Syndra and Wakanga are lead away by Wakanga's guards and you are left in the bustling Harbor Ward. Even though it is Five O'clock at night you can still feel the sweltering heat and beads of sweat begin to form on your body. Those with medium or heavy armor feel it even more.
Greggor, having been sweating already from dread of being magicked away, looks as though he may be ill. The increased heat makes him even more uncomfortable. He stumbles forward a step or two and hunches over bracing his hands on his knees.
"Lit us not do dat again."

Greggor falls down to his knees on the cobblestoned street and begins to throw up into one of the deep rain gutters that run up and down all the streets in Port Nyanzaru.
Tap looks around in wonderment as the city unfolds around them. Paying little attention to the human that greets them, Tap wonders over to one of the street performers, cheering in his odd way as the man finishes a particularly dextrous tumble. The kenku earns more than a few odd looks himself, but he ignores them in his excitement. Like all Kenku, Tap is incapable of creative thought due to the curse on his people, so each new experience opens an entirely new way of thinking and expression.
Rejoining the group as Syndra says her partings, Tap greets the newest member of the group, ""Anot'ar varrior! Excellent!--It is a pleasure to meet you--My name is--[he makes a rhythmic tapping sound like a crowd tapping its feet to a heady jig]"
Although it is hot, Vart is dressed in simple line clothes so does not appear to be affected by the heat. He does however keep his hood up. He looks around fascinated by the noise and bustle of the city. He walls over to Watanga and Elvoril bows deeply and says -
"My name is Ympäristö Vartija but you may call me Vart. It is a ???? (words in another language) ah yes honour to meet you."

Tome of Annihilation: Greggor - Level 1 Human (Variant) Fighter
Greetings everyone and welcome to Chult. Our kind benefactor has brought me up to speed on some of the surrounding area. First two most important things. Water is a necessity, and we needs lots of it. There is a shop where we can get water catchers we will all need. Also the jungle is a dangerous place so we need insect repellent and a guide. Those need to be procured before we leave the city. However there are a few shops that have some magical items scrolls and potions we can purchase if desired. There are a couple Inns to chose from for the evening, the Thundering Lizard is an affordable establishment but you do get what you pay for. Kaya’s house of gentle repose might cost a gold per night but it’s quiet and comfortable. Since we will be sleeping in the jungle after we leave town I would like a good nights sleep while I can. Our first stop should be go go get those water catchers but I can take you anywhere you like after that!

Krav wears no armor, just threadbare, dull clothes. Possibly because of this, the burly dwarf looks more comfortable than most of his companions.
"Greetings, sir Elvoril!" he says to the half-elf.
"I am Krav."
And that's all I have to say about that.
Greggor, having been sweating already from dread of being magicked away, looks as though he may be ill. The increased heat makes him even more uncomfortable. He stumbles forward a step or two and hunches over bracing his hands on his knees.

Krav can tell that Greggor is embarrassed, but says nothing, smiling to himself when he turns away.
"Alright, let's get these watercatchers!" Krav says.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Greggor is not particularly good with money. Unless something is grossly overpriced, he will not attempt to haggle.
Items Greggor will be shopping for while in town (pricing?):
He would also like to checkout shops selling wonderous items, he has no interest in scrolls
