Both of the farmers, and the broom wielding Aunt Dellie are wrapped up in vines. She gives a startled yelp, but the farmers are eerie quiet.

Tandor looks around the battlefield, to see if anyone else needs healing, ready to send Gilbert to that person. Meanwhile, he engages with the the sickle-wielding farmer, swinging his mace, trying again for a knockout and not a kill. As he does, he feels the ground start to writhe under him, roots and grasses dragging at his feet. He tries pulling away from their grip.

Tandor can't see the young woman whose arm was slashed by the sickle, but she was still on her feet and fled following the initial attack. She's likely either still running, or has taken cover, the thought of tracking the blood trail occurs to him, but the attacking farmers have his attention. Gilbert gets a sense of his concerns though, and skitters in the direction she departed.

The cleric tries what may be an overly careful swing with his mace, trying to not kill these farmers, from their blood-hazed eyes and disturbingly blank affect, they may not be acting of their own will. He breaks free of the grasping tendrils and vines.

Trencher moves up to the farmer using the sickle, and with a sidewise swipe of his large axe, tries to swat the farmer hard, with the non-blade side of the weapon.

Trencher drops the last farmer into a pile of vines, just as Kora and two others run up to the party. The towns woman with the broom exclaims, "Are they alright? What's wrong with them?"

Kora drops the concentration of the vines once the threats have been knocked unconscious, she doesn't want Aunt Dellie trapped as well.  Looking down to them and back at the woman, "I have no idea... what is going on?  They look familiar, who are these farmers?"

"Oh! Kora! I should have known!", Aunt Dellie says, not unkindly, as she brushes away the withering vines with her broom. "Thank you dear, for taking control of things. I don't know what came over them! Cato and Aba work on the farm by the bluff on the Left of the Ribbon, and Mobe and Holston work at the Longkin place."

The reminder of the farmers brings back memories of passing through and having seen the farmers before. Kora wasn't close to any of them, but she'd led a group of druids that had been invited to the Longkin farm to harvest some particular mushrooms that sprouted overnight a few months back, and she'd had a brief conversation with Mobe. Not a chatty fellow, but hardworking and honest... not the sort to go on a farm implement rampage.
