"Your threat is empty. Even if you kill him, we can bring him back." Tarok pauses for effect. "I doubt the Black Spider will remain loyal to you, how long before he comes to tie up loose ends? You'd be better off leaving the dwarf and saving your skin."

Tovar, attempting to be diplomatic, speaks up: "Yes, we are indeed cowards. We were so terrified of everyone in this castle that, at most, it took us 6 seconds to kill them all. They terrified us so much. Yet you seem, quite possibly, even scarier than them, meaning that we, in our cowardice, will have to dispatch you even faster. However, there is really no need for this whatsoever. We do not know you, and, do not take this as a challenge or something like that, but we do not need to kill you either. You can release the dwarf, saving us the minor inconvenience of having to resurrect him, and we can talk. You can, most likely, keep this place as well, it does not fit our style anyway".

"Have it your way." The bugbear breaks into a large grin. He tosses the unconscious dwarf roughly into the corner of the room and brings his shield to bear alongside his morningstar.
"Six seconds, you say? That's all it took for my help to get in position. I am no goblin, you fools. You look upon the mighty King Grol himself; and there will be no one to resurrect you when I am finished. Snarl, Vyerith, now!" he shouts. The wolf bounds into action, and the door to the north bursts open, revealing a female drow, a dark-skinned elf, unarmed but advancing on the party all the same.

Before he can react, the large morningstar has slammed into his thigh, nearly knocking him over, and blood drips from the small puncture wounds, dealing 9 piercing damage.
