Nemean takes out his longbow and silently points to the bridge above him, hoping his companions can see him. He then slowly takes aim at the goblin and fires off an arrow.

Cinis held back, knowing that a Fire Bolt would be anything but stealthy, and let the others press on ahead. His growing concern about being the least capable in the group was starting to cause some anxiety, however. After all, if he wasn't here to keep these kids safe, why was he here at all?

Advantage for Nemean attacking in stealth (using the higher of this or 17 from the first roll): 6
Using the bridge for cover, Nemean fires an arrow upwards through the bottom of the goblin's jaw. It dies wondering why the tunnel seemed lighter than usual, and falls over on the bridge with a thud.
Bob readies his crossbow but all is silent in the cave aside from the water flowing down the descending tunnel behind you.
Tracking: You can continue forward where the path bends to the right 20 feet ahead of you. You can clamber up to the bridge and move left along the path above you that intersects with the one you're currently standing in. You can clamber up to the bridge and move right along the path above you that intersects with the one you're currently standing in. You can cross the stream and move through the western passage.
OOC: Wow, sorry all. Would have had this typed up sooner, but it looks like my notifications just stopped working entirely. I'll have to be less dependent on them from here.
Cinis was lost in thought as the goblin fell to the ground. He was busy thinking about how his roll in the group was so limited and second guessing everything he had said up to that point. He remained quiet, for once, and let the others come up with a plan. His confidence was faltering and he couldn't help but feel like he was putting them in danger with every decision he made.
Tarok moved forward with the group, gripping his greatsword tightly, and wiping the sweat from his hands.
"Which path do you think we should take? This cave seems like a rabbit hole. These goblins don't seem too much trouble as long as we don't get taken unaware." he said to the others.

If the others agree, Argos slowly crosses the stream and begins climbing up the rocky escarpment. If the popular opinion is to continue down another path, Argos will follow stealthily with his shortswords drawn.

"That seems as good as any to me." replies Tarok. "If we get the drop on these foul goblins, they won't stand a chance." he adds.
Tarok follows suit with Argos, he puts his sword back in it's scabbard, crosses the stream and climbs up the escarpment. He draws his sword again at the top, hoping to offer some protection while the others make their way up. He looks about to see if there are any dangers nearby.
Cinis follows his companions in silence, still brooding over his failures and getting caught up in regret and doubt. He mechanically follows their motions and sticks toward the rear of the group.

This passage is choked with rubble and has steep escarpments. Tarok's examination reveals that it is navigable, but it's obvious this passage is rarely used. The rubble is very loose and it's hard to maintain your balance.
Tracking: You can continue through this passage to the west You can return to the passage you were in
OOC: Clearing the rubble to the point where it is not difficult terrain would take weeks. It isn't so thick that you can't traverse it though. There is a ledge that you would have to climb, but not so steep that it would require a skill check.
"Let's head back. We'll make too much noise climbing over the rocks." Cinis said softly, not wanting to voice his opinion too loud for fear of alerting the goblins and because he was unsure of himself.

"Oh, it's just some rocks. I don't think it'll be too loud." Tarok says, continuing forward. "We need to find our companions, and they might never suspect we'd take this path. We can get the upper hand." he finishes.
Tarok climbs up the ledge and continues forward, keeping a close eye forward and stopping sometimes to try to hear if anything is approaching.

As Tarok climbs the ledge, it crumbles, loosening the entire mass and sending it - and Tarok - tumbling down to the east.
Tarok Dexterity Save: 19
Tarok is bashed around by the falling rock, taking 6 bludgeoning damage. He suddenly finds himself lying prone, looking up at the group, with nasty bruises and possibly a fractured rib or two.
The ledge has become loose rubble, leaving a rough but clear path to the end of this passage. Once you reach the end of the passage, you find that it forks. To the right, you see a tunnel that bends to the right after 20 feet, back in the direction of the bridge. To the left, you see an opening to a larger cavern, as well as five curious goblin faces coming to investigate the crashing noise. Upon seeing the group, they let out a startled shout before rushing to attack.
The small passageway provides a sort of chokepoint that bottles the goblins up. Unable or unwilling to shoot past themselves to reach you, they've all drawn rusty scimitars and one is able to launch a swing toward Tarok.
Goblin Scimitar Attack: 11
Tarok can feel the wind from the scimitar as he pulls back to avoid it.
Tracking: The passage is has bottlenecked the attacking goblins (as well as yourselves). Tarok (in the lead) is in melee range of the goblins. No other character can reach them unless Tarok moves away, which may provoke an attack of opportunity

"Duck!" Cinis shouted at Tarok, lobbing a Fire Bolt at the lead goblin's head, striking him directly in the face and bypassing his companion. He was determined to make up for how useless he had been so far.
OOC: The bridge is twenty feet above you.
Nemean moves ahead of the group stealthily.
For Nemean:
There is a goblin guarding the bridge above you. It is watching the path behind you, and hasn't noticed your approach.
The stream and path bend to the right again 20 feet ahead of you.
