In the alley hidden within Erdan's illusion, the coins are counted and packed. We'll follow the direction of the guards to the market. Depending on the amount Dahme'dre suggests a cart and horse, as they had discussed earlier, along with barrels for clean water.
Given the expectation of attack from citizens a few sets of manacles and extra rope may be valuable if these people are to be questioned and brought to trial. A healers kit can be useful as well (Though Dee can cast Spare the Dying others can use a kit.)
Erdan will have a few suggestions. Valen and Erdan should stay with Dahme'dre and "shop" around town like a normal noble entourage. Erdan will go out "drinking" at night complaining that we are going to need to leave early in the morning heading back to Thar. ((Would that be the South gate? Opposite gate we want to actually leave)). If he's convincing enough, then we might be able to avoid people setting up traps and ambushes in advance.
Kuori and Aio should not associate with us during the day, and go buy our supplies (cart, healing pack, food, water, whatever else) for the trip and have them ready to go at the North Gate ((I think)). We all should stay at the same inn. In the morning, we all head that way and leave, taking on whoever comes our way.
(( Kuori's player is on holiday for a week, so will follow along with the consensus on actions. ))
((Erdan, the south gate is indeed more or less opposite the gate you would want to be leave through, which is on the north, northwestern side of the town. ))
(( I'll accept that as consensus then, on the proviso you name the mules. One is a girl and one is a boy. If you allow them to die, there will be consequences which will seem wildly disproportionate. ))
Shopping, haggling and will take up much of the day, leaving Erdan time to drift into the town's tavern for drinks with the locals.
Dahme'dre first secures lodgings for the evening and washes, before visiting everu jewellery or clothing store and being dissatisfied with the wares. (And unwilling to pay unnecessary expenses.)
She makes a fair show of turning up her nose at the inferior products (Deception: (3)18)
Erdan will follow around Dahme'dre during the day. He will keep up his servant routine. He will be very apologetic to the shop keepers and let them know that they will be leaving the next day back to Thar.
"I'm sorry, My Lady is very..... fickle. You know how they are. Don't worry, we'll be out of your hair soon. Heading back to Thar, finally!"
Once she is done shopping, Erdan will head to the taverns in town. He will complain about "My Lady" loudly, saying he can't wait to be back in Thar and away from her! "Just one more day on the road tomorrow!" "Can't wait to be away from that noble bi.....Lady" etc.. .(Trying to spread misinformation. Also, potentially seeing if anyone will approach him to try to buy me off to betray her.)
(As for extra provisions, what about food for us? Is the wagon covered and/or do we need to buy some fabric to stretch over it? I'd like to add the following and will add Valen's 13gp if needed:)
10sq yards of linen - 5gp
2-3 shields - 20-30gp
Caltrops, 5 bags (100 total) - 5gp
Oil, 20 flasks - 2gp
Torches, 20 - 2sp
(If we're mounting up, it'd be good to have things we can use the deter attackers. The cloth and shields can be used to mask us from archers and put up defenses as needed.)

Characters:
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
(( Everything is available, including the cloth to cover the otherwise uncovered wagon. The only exception is the caltrops. These are fine work and there unfortunately aren't any available in town. ))
Erdan, while no one attempts to bribe you, your loud pronouncements and perfectly executed performance does earn you an audience. Townsfolk turn their heads and whisper among themselves, and on at least two occasions you believe you spot someone attempting to watch you from around a corner and over a rooftop. These observers disappear as soon as you attempt to look at them, but it's clear your message has been heard and well received.
With dusk falling rapidly, you find yourself back at the tavern where Dahme'dre is staying. Valen arrives a short time later, broad back laden with purchased supplies. A self-implied stable-hand, working for tips, rushes up and assists him with these, including with securing the linen-tarp over the cart if you all so desire.
Dahme'dre enjoys a hot bath; it may be awhile before the next one. She allows herself to ignore the feeling of guilt in the luxury, while others in this place have so little. She keeps the water hot longer than might be expected letting her. She brushes her long hair, and sleeps.
She'll wake early as usual, take care to maintain her appearance. Valuable tools, should be kept sharp, a dull knife is more likely to harm its user than a sharp one. She checks the edge on her dagger, as she's thinking of it.
She looks out the window over the dark streets as she hums her song. (Perception: (2)22) She wonders if others are up early as well, those who would stand in the way.
She goes to wake her companions before sunrise, finding Valen up early as well, "This town needs something more than punishing a few thieves." She confides, "I always feel, I want to do more. Should I be more concerned with our own well being today? What happens when the refugees of Thar arrive here tomorrow?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erdan will be just getting up when Dahme'dre comes to wake him. Erdan will smile and say "Broody! I can get up early occasionally as well."
"I'm pretty sure I was fairly convincing last night. They should be expecting us to head south towards Thar. If they are planning to ambush us, then we spoiled there fun. Now they will have to rush to catch us!"
Erdan will look out the windows at the front of the inn to see if he notices anyone, or recognizes anyone from the night before. perception4
Valen muses over a prayer book first thing in the morning. Not-so-ironically, it's filled with various allegorical stories and metaphors relating to warfare. "War brings tragedy to those who don't bear a weapon. I serve a god of battle, not war, and despite with others believe, there is a vast difference. Battle is strategy and tactics, the thrill of combat, the pride of overcoming an adversary, and the glory of becoming a champion. War is what happens when the brutality of mortals corrupt the sanctity of battle. When one side cannot win by arms, they aim for softer targets and call it 'good strategy'." He closes his book and draws his sword to give it a look-over, "This land has waged war with itself for years now, and it is shows wherever we go. Refugees will never cease to be victims until we can create a beacon of hope for them to rally around."

Dahme'dre sits on the window sill watching the sun begin to rise. Imagining all the things she could have accomplished; the challenges and opportunities.
She watches her party prepare. The moments stretch on. Time seems to stand still. A new day begins. Will they rise to face it? Will legends rise up from their trials? Will they be remembered in the history books? Or will they be forgotten, like so many before them.
