Gijigume pulls on the rope once Fah'lin has hold of it, walking backwards as well as pulling on it. "Shall we retreat ten feet or so and get it to come for us: It may not be hostile," he suggests.

Once you get Fah’lin out of the room the creatures stop advancing. The giant crayfish scuttles back and forth in front of the door still talking in an unknown language. Aeliarin detects no magic with his spell.
Fah'lin stands up and brushes the mud off his shiny new armor, but he just ends up spreading it around more.
He'll take torch and hand the rope to his mage hand. Then send it to the northern door where the hand will attempt to open that door, dragging the rope behind itself...
With a bit of manoeuvring your magic hand can reach the door (30' range - so you have to step into the room for the last bit then step out again) and open it. What do you want to do with the rope?
This was the question I asked WOTC customer service:
"This question applies to all summoned or conjured creatures; in the spell Conjure Animals, for example, it says “You summon fey spirits that take the form of beasts and appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within range.” Does the player control where the creatures appear or does the DM?"
This was their non-answer answer
"Thank you for contacting the Academy at Tolaria of the Depths. I believe all your questions are answered in the spell descriptions themselves. For Conjure Animals it is on page 225 of the Player's Handbook. However, since the spell for Find Familiar doesn't state that it needs to reappear in a space you can see, it is ultimately up to the Dungeon Master to decide if you can make it reappear on the other side of a door.
So I quoted the spell description and asked for clarification and they quoted it back and said 'there you go'. On the other hand their answer regarding Find Familiar does seem to say that the player controls where the summoned creature appears and the DM gets to say whether it can appear where you can't see it. On the gripping hand even in the modern world doors are rarely such that you can't get even a glimpse of the room behind.
So going forward I'm going to not worry about this as it was not why Arya took the spell anyway.
(I meant just in. Like just within. You get the idea though. This thing's so docile... Yeah I just wanted a way out the other side if I can't manage to skate as elegantly as Arya)
With the handle secure Fah'lin takes a running start and attempts to skate through the room. "Wish me luck..." (Acrobatics 15) (Guidance if luck is wished 2)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Well this time you don’t fall down, on the other hand it gets an opertunity attack as you move past it. 19 it misses and you make the door. Arya has a try 12 *grin* and uses her cunnng action to disengage from the creature. She joins Fah’lin out the door.
"That thing just tried to attack me!" Fah'lin points at it releasing a pair of Eldritch Blast, hitting (3)Unable to parse dice roll. for 5, and (2)21 for 6 Force.
He will stay out of the muddy room and cast Toll the Dead at either creature, picking an injured one if possible. Damage: 8 if the target is injured or 7 if not.

Thar will help pull on the rope and also move back from the doorway, keeping an eye on the creatures so as to be ready should they rush the group..
Does Aeliarin detect any magic in this room? (I assume 10 minutes hasn't passed yet.)

(Nothing exploded or anything that's great.)
Fah'lin's disembodied hand takes the rope Justin to the door, then closes the door on the rope holding it firmly in place... maybe.
