Kaltent looks up at the disturbance, and his eyes glimmer as he hears the sound of gold in the pouch on the bar. His eyes darken again at the human's treatment of Lorvara, but he's too intimidated by the group to do anything about it.

Jah'nun, having just excused herself from the card table and stepped into the arched doorway between the games room and the main room, is searching through her pack for her flute when the rough newcomers arrive. Her eyes narrow with a calculating expression at the forceful human leader as he clumsily propositions Lorvara.
WIS: 18
She was considering a more daring approach, but reconsiders the wisdom of the idea. Instead, she catches a serving wench by the elbow and whispers low, "Who is that man?" while never taking her eyes off him.
As I remember from keeping tabs from who was in the bar, I decide this is not a fight I wasn to be in. No way to know who’s loyal or has a good fight in them. I sit in my chair and wait.
I follow the human with my eyes as he controls the room. I sit and watch as the the bartender pays his dues, which sounded like a hefty bit of coin. Seems to be the price he’s somewhat agreed upon to do business in a city like this. I lean back in my chair and glance over at Bones, looking for any indication of how this is going to end. My half drunken joyful mood has now changed back to the stern scowl. I take a quick glance at my cross bow, checking that it is in fact cocked and loaded with a bolt.
Bones sees the newcomers and re-positions his 'true' coin pouch ( sleight of hand 14 ) to its more protected hiding spot, while leaving his secondary pouch, with much less coin in it, out in the open.
// WIS 10 plus 2 if it's a WIS Save. //
Bones stays where he is seated, attempting to look as relaxed as possible, but some worry has reached his face betraying his calm demeanor.
"Poor girl," Bones whispers to Vosnin, "she doesn't deserve to lose those hard earned gains."

Having calmed down from the other Tiefling's continuous presence, Lav notices the new guests. He has enough common sense to realize that they are probably not the most upright citizens and thinks that leaving the tavern now might draw unwanted attention. To prevent that from happening, he takes his seat once again. However, he is curious about their actions and observes them inconspicuously, hoping to act fast enough if they do something drastic. When he hears the human's pick-up line, he has to roll his eyes. Has that line ever worked, he wonders.

Watl's attention is drawn from the Tiefling in front of him to the other side of the room where the thugs entered. He immediately slips off the stool he was standing on to talk to the Tiefling and hides himself in the corner a bit more.

Jianyu stands slowly... (Wis: 14 or Insight: 16)... He walks across the room tapping his staff in front of him as he feels his way across the room toward the door. Aiming to start a confrontation that might embolden onlookers...
I reply back to Bones, “I agree, the lady doesn’t deserve to be taken advantage of but .......” I stop for a moment to watch the old elf making his way across the room. I take a gulp of air. “I hope he knows what he’s doing.....” I whisper to Bones. I reach down to my side grabbing hold of the grip to my cross bow. I hold it at my side, attempting to hide it behind my chair and my large dwarven frame. “And I hope you got a little more than just a deck of cards my friend.....”

He whispers, "Hi I'm Trust, nice to meet ya. Unfortunately I am also new in town so I don't know who here might appreciate our 'talents'. Although these gentlemen might know." He eyes the old elf approaches the newcomers. "I'm not sure but I think the old timer is mute. By the looks of it he may be crazy too."
As the silence seems to stretch on, interrupted only by the blind tapping of Jianyu's cane. He stops, turning his head as though listening for the source of the odd disquiet. He moves ahead, walking through this leather-clad human.

“And I hope you got a little more than just a deck of cards my friend.....”
"I do... but no reason to use it unless the fight, if it happens, comes to us. They do look rather intimidating, after all, and I will not willingly approach them, but - I suppose we can have a little bit of fun and still be safe over on this side of the tavern," Bones replies with a brief, mischievous smile.
Bones begins to whisper under his breath, the tiniest of breaths for fear of getting caught. He casts Thaumaturgy in time with tapping of the old elf's (Jianyu's) walking staff causing a rumble of thunder to originate from the ceiling above the elderly elf each time the staff touches the ground.

Jah'nun: The wench leans over your table in a slightly exaggerated gesture, pretending to clear an empty tankard which is actually still half full and whispers back, "That's Sandrick, he and his goons collect for the Steel Fist every week." She blinks at you realizing you must be new, while seemingly unaware of just how much of her bosom is exposed from leaning over the table.
Lav: You see the old elf moving toward the door, tapping his staff, and something seems a little off about him.
Watl & Trust: Shortly after moving into the corner Watl, you're joined by Trust whispering quietly to you, and although the two of you are not hiding behind anything, by standing still in the corner of a room with soft lighting and some drifting smoke from a few older patrons with pipes, and especially everyone's attention focused on the goons... you are effectively 'hidden' while standing in plain sight.
Jianyu: Many of the patrons you pass keep their heads down, only a scant few seem like they might be willing to aid if anything were to happen. You do notice a few that seem quite capable with weapons at the ready.
"See you next week Grun!" The human shouts over his shoulder, preparing to leave by turning and beginning to make his way around the tables and towards the exit. "Watch where you're going you old blind fool!" The human exclaims as Jianyu goes blundering into him.
Jianyu attempts to lift some compensation off the man as he stumbles past. (Sleight of Hand: 16)... He strains as if to hear what was said before heading toward the outhouse.

Yep. That seems very fitting of Zack's character.
