Trust: Watl points at his eyes and ears, probably signaling if you have seen or heard anything before approaching you and whispering.
Watl:Trust holds up a finger and then begins pointing down the stairs and to a room behind him, he appears to give a signal that he wants you both to urinate all over everything. He again points to both you and himself and at some of the other rooms.
Jianyu sits on his rooftop watching quietly. The mansion is still as expected... Did he get the impression some of the others were going to sneak in ahead of Bones and poke around? Why do that today? Well he wasn't about to tell them what he thought of that plan. He munches on a scone pilfered from a plate below. (Perception: 14)
Jianyu: Using the information you gathered some of the others have boldly added themselves to the plan of Sandrick meeting with the tabaxi. The scone tastes delicious.
Bones: There is nothing that appears uneven, the room and all it's furnishings are quite well made in fact and look very expensive. After a few moments you can hear someone's footsteps approaching the door.
Hearing the footsteps approach, Bones quickly takes a few seconds to cast tongues, touching his chest briefly as he completes the spell making himself the target.
Trust and Watl: You creep into another room. It has a bed, nightstand with a lamp, wardrobe, and cabinet. Other than the furniture it is empty. Everything is finely made and looks very expensive.
Bones: Right after you complete your spell the tabaxi enters and briskly walks over to one of the shelves of books and begins looking for a particular tome. "I want you to start 'collecting' from the businesses to the north of the market next. Remember the ones with heavy traffic should have the most coin." He looks to be dressed quite well and has a regal bearing, except he wears gloves which don't match his outfit. He continues to search for the book among the shelves with his back to you.

Bones, as Sandrick, noticing the gloves to be out of place, allows his eyes to linger there a bit (Perception17) trying to figure out if he's seen a similar style before (like Jianyu's monk-style gloves, or on some other person he's met in his past - History3) or for what purpose they might serve (Insight15).
"Right - north of market." After a beat to see if the Tabaxi finds the book being sought, Bone states, "Umm - I think we've been getting some push back lately. It's been a few days since I've heard from Raxor or the half-orc muscle we hired..." Bones' voice trails off with the punctuation of someone looking for guidance and advice on what to do next.

Watl: Back at the 'Broken Barrel' you see Wilma drinking an ale at the bar. She spots you enter and waves you over. "I have some news that might be interesting. Since we last met I decided to take a little initiative and managed to get a job as one of the Stratton's maids. I overheard part of a conversation where someone was ordering one of the Strattons to arrange for more spices to be delivered as quick as possible to take advantage of the shortage in the Marketplace. I can't stay long as I have to get back, my shift starts soon. Is there anything you want me to try while I'm on the inside?"
"Nice work. Yeah, there is something you can keep an ear out for. There's a Tabaxi in that place. Get some eyes on him and see what he's up to," the halfling says. He then looks around for anyone of their group and follows up with them, reporting on the information he heard about the spice shipment to the others to see if they could somehow use an incoming shipment to further infiltrate the Strattons.
//Not sure if I could back-track this a bit, but if possible, Bones would have cross-referenced what Watl told him with Sandrick to see if Sandrick knew about the shipment already. Yes or no would be fine, just wanted to double check as it may affect the Tabaxi conversation. //
Watl: You enter a sitting or reading room, a trio of chairs are spaced around the room. A shelf of books is located between the center chair and the one on the left, while a small desk is positioned between the center and right chairs.
Trust: You encounter one of the locked doors. (Let me know if you want to move on to another or try some way of opening it.)
Bones: (No, Sandrick did not know.) Without turning to address you, as he seems somewhat concerned with finding a particular book, "They are probably at some brothel. I am sure they will turn up, and if they don't just hire someone else. Who you choose does not concern me, just be sure to present yourself as 'The Steel Fist.'"
"That reminds me, feel free to target any shipments or caravans except those containing spice. The next spice shipment will be ours." There doesn't appear to be anything special about the gloves, they just seem odd... and it is odd to wear gloves indoors.

Bones takes a look to see if the exposed fur onthe body is actual fur, or if this person is a wolf in cat's clothing.
Bones drawls out a reaponse, "Glad you told me about that spice shipment - was planning on hitting it when I heard about it."
"You sure the Steel Fist ain't coming back - something feels off in the town, like if they're back - creating problems. What happened to them anyways?"
His eyes flit back to the tabaxi's hand, curious as to the obsession with the book being sought.
Watl: You think this is a probably a sitting room. There are no apparent secret compartments of any kind.
Trust: The lock does not slow you down. You enter another bedroom, the decorations and furnishings are quite lavish.
Bones: "What happened to them you ask, what happens to anyone who thinks they can wage a war against the rich." The tabaxi turns and looks at you for a moment, "There may be a few left who went underground, but once I have enough coin I will hire an assassin to deal with them." He then turns back to the shelves to continue his search, "My plans have been slowed down somewhat but they have not come to a stop."
Kaltent: The other guard suggests that you make your way up to the manor since Sandrick will soon be finished, "Sandrick's meetings usually don't last too long, you had better go and collect him. Wouldn't want the dogs to get their teeth into him would we?" He jokes with you.
Watl leaves the sitting room and goes to check on Trust and make sure he's alright. Well, really just to see if he's found anything valuable, but he makes it look like he's concerned. While in the room with Trust, he inspects the place for any secret passages or compartments.

"Squashed beneath the machinations of a government machine under the sway of an oligarchy until it becomes too oppressive to compete with oligarchy-backed competitors forcing them to turn on themselves and the government not understanding the true source of their demise?" Bones offers back when the tabaxi turns away. His eyes go wide for a second before he immediately quips, "Er, at least that's what I've been hearing others say at the brothel."
Watl shakes his head and gets up close to Trust, beckoning the Tiefling to lower his head and whispers, "Did you see where the tabaxi came from?"
