Breldo shares what little he thinks he knows about the sac, but so far nobody dares get closer or do anything- Neither does the sac do anything. Beside all the gore, and the unknown status of the now covered machine at the end of this hallway (and the fact there is a (mostly?) docile spider behind them) everything seems clear. The ominous feeling "furnace" they've not looked at too close is also still behind them, as well as the other hallway; but it looks at least there weren't any leaks as happened here, from before.
---
Olokas has no issue handing off any of the items as requested, or simply taken. The ley counter at least seems to go to Sylvera as she eagerly grabs it, though Rick could probably grab the "stick" if he is quick enough, with neither Khond nor Sylvera seeming that interested in it. Olokas speaks in Elvish again, though Khond might translate for Rick's benefit:
"Could be used for both, I think. This vessel thinks using it to clean Ley might be considered a waste, but it should be possible. You might be able to apply some Ley directly to force it to function."
"And perhaps. Our cleaner certainly liked it."
"Just a shame everything else seems to have been taken from here before. Is there anything else? I think about what would be most prudent info from this vessel that I could tell you in what time we have left."
Asimi listens to Breldo explain what he could about the sac but... Clenching her jaw, the elf turns back around towards the position the spider was hiding in. Realizing that, in this moment, the group had effectively surrounded themselves between two unknowns, "Do we try and deal with... Whatever's in there? It seems to be dying on its own," At least, that's what she hoped the slow stoning process around it implied.
"I assure you I tend very well to my personal hygiene, Rick."

"...Shall I try striking it? Or do we leave?" Asimi suggests. To her that seemed to be the only two options, given they would seemingly be stuck breaking parts of it off to get at the machine anyway. It, hopefully, wouldn't take much to put down whatever it was that was growing within.
Nuria looks back and forth between the elf and halfling as they discuss what to do with the sac. She's fine with just leaving it, but she does understand both their concerns. She nods to Breldo's last statement. May as well see exactly what the thing is.
"I see," Sylvera says when Olokas says that using the stick to clean Ley would be a waste. That seems odd... so using it as a household cleaning instrument was considered better than using it to purify Ley? "Perhaps it wouldn't be a waste in our situation, but I suppose we have yet to find that answer."
She sighs. What else can she ask? "If the location you mentioned earlier proves to be fruitless, where would you recommend going next? Do you know of any records... books, scrolls, anything from before ley was depleted, that could be useful? If so, where would we look for those?"
Breldo gets closer to investigate, and... Judging by some scar tissue that surrounds the horrible former goop and this soft glow, it's as if this "egg", if that's what it is, actively pushed itself away, organized was pushed away, by the rest that is now dead. The short version being that it is doesn't seem to be dying like the rest is, at first glance healthy. How long that might last with all the weird shit that has been happening is much harder for him to deduce.
Leaning in even closer he thinks he can see something vaguely resembling butterfly wings..? Whatever it is might already be full grown.
He's not sure what to think of it all however, probably still shellshocked from everything. Asimi gets a vague sense of that whatever it is probably isn't something harmful however. Which is saying a lot considering all the otherwise alien circumstances.
---
Olokas, unaware of Sylvera inner thoughts does not comment on the fact there is likely a difference between "cleaning" and "cleansing" Ley. Ttansdimensional voices that describe these adventurers actions however make a brief note of the it, if only to prevent potential future confusion.
Olokas gives a disappointed shrug.
"The capital. But it sounds like that has already been tried."
"Sorry. It seems far too much time has passed for this vessel to have much useful knowledge in the present. I will think about everything I can relay however, once we sit down to rest."
"Something butterfly-like... maybe? It seems almost fully developed though, and seems healthy enough... I think it would be able continue developing if we left it be, unless something else weird happens in this room... without knowing what it is, I'd not want to cut it open or damage it... could be dooming an innocent creature if it's not quite able to survive out of the sac. Though, a fair chance our eight-legged friend might snack on it if it emerges weak and vulnerable."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"...I see," Though she doesn't vocalize her feeling the lack of danger, Asimi's body posture visibly softens. With one last glance towards where the spider was hiding, she sidesteps the sac; making sure to keep her footing on the surrounding petrified portion while heading towards the machine.
"Do we strike down the spider, then? Or allow nature to play out?" For a given definition of natural, anyway. There was no real telling what this thing would do once it hatches. For now however her attention was focused squarely on the machine with the intention of inspecting what she could first before potentially breaking chunks of stone off it.
A butterfly? Butterflies aren’t dangerous…probably… Letting her guard down slightly, she says, “p-perhaps we could just…take it with us? If it turns out to be bad…we can deal with it when it hatches…that way we don’t let it run rampant and possibly harm someone.”
Sylvera sighs, and says begrudgingly, "I suppose it can't be helped." He shuts her eyes for a moment, putting a hand to her forehead in thought. She's spent the better half of her life looking for a cure, yet now she can't seem to think of any other questions to ask. She needs to make the most of this resource while he's still around, yet what else is there to address?
She nods when he says he'll try to think of anything else that can help them, "Thank you."She says, her voice holding more sincerity than the group has ever heard from her. Of course, this leaves her wondering... why is this... entity helping them? What does this individual have to gain? Will bringing back magic somehow allow him to return as well? But what and who is he really? As much as the questions burn in her mind, she can't bring herself to ask for fear of driving away her only lead. Instead she says, "Let us move outside again. You wanted to see the night sky correct? We can rest out there."

Rick takes the cleaning stick gladly and uses it to itch his back,
"Rick has already found a use for the stick! Rick wonders what could Rick could clean?"
He looks around inspecting his surroundings and settling on Khond thoughtfully...
"I assure you I tend very well to my personal hygiene, Rick."

Rick looks dubiously at Khond's biggish body and the length of his arms.
"If Friend Khond is sure, but let Rick know if Friend Khond needs help."
He'll wave the stick like a fishing pole.
((Can Breldo make a check to see if it is in fact dying?))
"Might as well try carefully cutting it free, if it's going to die here anyway... If it needs to be destroyed, it'll be vulnerable when it emerges."

Oren frowns, still not liking that a part of the group went back down to the furnace area, sighs, and follows to where Rick, Khond and Sylvera went.
On one side, Rick turns an priceless relic into a backscratcher. Oren not liking how everyone split up soon joins them.

Down below, the group deliberates what to do... From a safe distance.
(you could, I'd say probably a medicine check? With a bonus if you dare let Breldo get close to it.)
