Down in the basement the group considers what to do next. Breldo considers, but... Yeah, given the weirdness going on, he can only guess on what may or may not happen should they break it open. A full wing usually denotes it should be ready, or in its final stage, but its impossible to tell.
As for just taking it with as Nuria suggests, perhaps not impossible, but cutting it free from the by now partly petrified goop that surrounded it might prove difficult. And after that, they'd likely have to be extremely careful with it just as well.
While the duo considers this, Asimi takes a moment to sidestep all of it to go examine the machine that kicked off the whole mess in the first place. It becomes obvious something went wrong from the get-go. There's a crack running down one side of the machine, and a whole part she believes was formerly on top of the machine now lies discarded to the side, the crack on the ceiling indicating it smashed into it with enough force to damage it. Besides that, everything else seems like it might be whole, though, giving perhaps a bit of hope on its state until she manages to get a visual toward the "screen" where glowing elvish letters are displayed.
Olokas nods, the group ready to head out again for now, and perhaps start setting up a simple camp while they wait for night to fully set. By this point, the sun is slowly beginning to disappear.
While waiting for the others to finish their business- And the enigmatic Olokas clearly seeming to have some effort arranging memories into something that makes sense, it is the "elf" in question that sks another question... If only for him to better position himself to what is and is not known.
"'Pipeline broken,'" Asimi repeats aloud, more for the other's benefit than her own, but it did aggravate her a little nonetheless, "I doubt we have any means of repairing this..."
Returning back to the other two she sets her attention back to where the spider was hiding, "There's nothing else for us here. What are you two going to do with that thing?" She asks, in reference to their deliberation on what's within the sac.
Breldo regards the sac with a furrowed brow. "When in doubt, let nature run its course. But if we hear of a butterfly winged beast terrorizing the countryside, we know where it hatched.."

"If that's it, then let's get moving. I have one more thing I'd like to look at down here," Passing one last glance at the sac, Asimi proceeds to head back to where they came from. Should nothing interrupt her she'll make her way towards the furnace from before in order to determine what the state of it was after everything that had happened.
Breldo will clear his throat as he moves past Asimi into the hallway. "Pardon us, ma'am, just passing through again. We've no interest in disturbing your find webs further, merely wish to pass through to the surface and we'll not be a bother."
He doesn't actually expect the spider to understand him, but letting it know of his presence and moving in a calm, confident manner, he's hoping not to elicit an attack.

Nuria glances back at the sac, then nods. If Breldo thinks it's best to let nature run it's course then he's probably right. She tilts her head as Asimi mentions something about a broken pipeline. No, they definitely can't fix anything in this place. She's not sure she'd want to do that anyways.
She follows close behind Breldo, trying to mimic his movements as they pass the spider.

As Breldo and Nuria choose to leave whatever it is be, heading back the spider leaves them alone. If anything it almost seems impatient about them passing by so it can return to making a web.
Asimi takes a stop by this "furnace" though, and the slight ominous feeling that emanates from it. Something she ignores at first as she approaches carelessly. She can hear something. Something which almost makes sense, but it's too soft to make out.
But she soon enough realizes that whatever she is hearing is no good. A headache is starting to form, and blood comes dripping from her nose - at which point she presumably withdraws, taking 3 damage.
((Can I assume that Breldo notices her bleeding with his Passive 15 on Perception? If so, he'll shepherd her upstairs, looking to reconnect with the rest of the party.))

(Probably not much, in this case anyway. Apologies for the awkward timing, meant to get this out earlier but work got in the way.)
Having scrambled away to a distance where the voice don't seem to be impacting her anymore, Asimi takes a moment to wipe the blood off her face, "Dammit," She mutters. Knowing full well she should probably stop but by this point she was determined to figure out what was happening with this hellish machine. It'd been too much of a focal point for everything that happened in this place thus far and was the entire reason she was here in the first place.
And now it was doing... This.
Gritting her teeth, she marched forward towards it once again. Determined to shrug off any more minor injuries until it became truly unbearable.
Asimi forces herself closer, taking 2 damage as she fails to resist... Whatever is happening. But now, right next to the open "furnace", the sound is becoming just a bit more clear to hear. She can only understand snippets against the background noise of what seems to be this "Ley" inside the furnace, swirling around on the wall but not actively covering the hatch, leaving for a hollow inside. It seems like the stuff that has been idle before, and not that which had been "tainted".
It's a voice that sounds oh so familiar. She has never heard it before.
There are only a few words she can make out from out here from what seems to be some kind of verse, and each word, whether she properly hears it or not, is as a sharp needle in her mind. But she'd have to at least stick her head inside if she'd want to actually figure out where it's exactly coming from.

It was a blatantly awful idea being so close to the machine, as the growing pain in her head could attest to, and yet the damnable familiarity of it all only served to push her further. The elf's memories were already a haze, and if this offered any opportunity for an answer...
Tightening her jaw further, Asimi readied herself for even more pain as the elf acted against all logic and made to stick her head into the hatch.
"Might be something wrong with the lass... what I said... about nature taking its course... doesn't always apply just to butterflies hatching near spiders. She seems determined to die down here, and I don't look to join her.", he mutters to his young protegee.

"What war?" Sylvera asks, thinking of all the possible wars he could be talking about. "Yes I will assume its over considering we are not at war right now, but I would still like to know which one you are speaking of."
Asimi presses on despite being unable to suppress the mental assault, this time taking 1 damage.
The inside of this "furnace" is more spacious than one would think. Ley lines it's walls swirling upward in an almost hypnotic pattern. She can just barely glance there is some kind of disk up there, slowly spinning with all of it, and from there the voice speaks.
"Heed now my authority."
"Die, and become part as the first blood."
"No mind to think."
"No will to break."
"No voice to cry suffering."
The spell continues to loop.

Nuria looks back at Asimi, then to Breldo. “W-wait. Y-you just want to leave her?” A mix of emotions cross her face. She can’t lie, she has a high sense of self preservation. An almost feral instinct that causes her to react more than think when it comes to danger. Leading to her doing things that sometimes she regrets. Up until this point, she’d thought Breldo to never be wrong. ….and perhaps he’s still not wrong. Breldo is logical, but is leaving Asimi morally right? She doesn’t think so, and her moral actions were something she’d been wanting to change about herself. “Sh-she does seem strange, but I don’t think we should just leave her. What if…what if that puppet man is doing something to her? Or…or…” she starts to panic as thoughts of mind control surface. If magic is real…any of that is possible. She tries to take a deep breath to calm down only party succeeding. “We can’t leave her. L-look shes bleeding!” Frantically, she races back past the spider without thought, and tries to grab Asimi and drag her towards the exit.
