Nuria, not sure what is going on but worried that Asimi may be under some kind of mind control, moves to try and pull out Asimi. Asimi, surprised, just barely manages to shrug it off... But both of them hear that sound, and are unable to resist it's spell, as Nuria takes 4 damage, and Asimi takes 4.
For Nuria, that voice, even if she only hears the tiniest slivers of it... She's never heard it before, yet it sounds somehow familiar.
Asimi meanwhile continues taking the full brunt while leaning in, but examines as much as she can in that short timespan. There doesn't seem to be that much more interesting beside the disk up there, or at the very least the walls are too coated in the thick goop to see anything of the kind. But a slightly better examination does reveal that it seems the disk can be removed. In the same breath, there is some kind of latching system that is effectively keeping it there, which she'd have to figure out.
...Or just brute force it.
(More intelligence saves. Except for Nuria if she immediately retreats.)

"There's something in here, I'm going to try and get it out," Asimi's annoyed voice grunts at Nuria around the pain, although she's unsure if the other woman can even hear her, "Let me do this." Even though she was aware of just how terrible remaining here was, she was now determined to get her hands on this thing. Knowing it'd either aid her in searching for the answers she wanted, or kill her in the process. That it could be a complete dud hadn't seemed to cross her mind.
Shaking herself out of Nuria's grip, Asimi gathers herself together and allows herself to slip into the machine.

Asimi braces herself, forcing herself in yet deeper in order to be able to reach. While she does it without too many difficulties, to the very end she can't resist the authority in that voice, and each time that "die" gets spoken the headache gets all the worse, as this time she takes 2 damage.
But with that her fingers clasp around this disk, and to the latches at the side. It only takes some fiddling to realize that pressing on one side causes the latch to slide, so if she just does that on both sides.
Almost unceremoniously, the obisidian plate drops. And as it comes loose, the oppressive atmosphere disappears instantly as the disc drops down, landing in some Ley from which Asimi can collect it.
Hard to say what use it might prove to have in the future... But if nothing else, looking at the fine engravings over the strange piece of metal, it must be very valuable.

Sylvera thinks for a moment. There's plenty of war in the long line of their history of course, mostly defensive, but they're also mostly long past the origin of the wasting. As far as common history goes, the story is that under the emperor no war existed, as he protected their civilization. Though most scholars quietly agree that may be mostly revisionary given how very little documentation survived from the time. Either that, or that they would have considered smaller scale skirmishes hardly a war compared to how much land the kingdom spanned in those days. Or maybe a bit of both columsn.
Grabbing the disk, Asimi clambers back through the entrance and out of the machine. Almost undoubtedly looking like she was on the wrong end of a fist fight given her continual failure at resisting the mental assault.
"This..." She tells the other two, showing them the disk, "Is what I saw in there... It may lead to something. Maybe that elf knows, " Trying to gather herself together she staggers towards the steps back upstairs, as she does so she glances towards Nuria, "Did you make anything out? About that voice? It was familiar, and yet... Wasn't."

((Did Breldo get an splash effect on that?))
The halfling, once it's clear that Asimi is done trying to kill herself with whatever is going on, will pluck free a bit of the webbing that clung to him as they passed, and approach the elf.
"Careful, your nose is still bleeding a bit...", he'll fashion the silk into a gentle plug and insert it into her bleeding nostril.
"Leave it in there until we stop to rest, if it starts up again, it should soak it up and keep it from getting too bad."
(Sorry, forgot to mention- I don't think Breldo ever got in the "danger close" grounds, so he wouldn't have taken any damage, or even heard anything beside the vaguely ominous feeling. And noticing the bleeding, of course. On Nuria too, though not nearly the extent of Asimi.)
Breldo helps stifle the worst of Asimi's bleeding, actually helping restore her back to full HP. As they chat for a while, eventually the trio would return to the group at large, where Asimi presumably shows the disc she found to Olokas in the hopes of finding out more. He glances for a few moments, before seeming to be hit with recollection.
"Oh, this. It's a part of the purifier, is it not? I'm guessing you threw the switch on the backside to shut it off, so you could remove it?"
He notices the deadpan stare of realization in Asimi's eyes.
"...Ah."
"...Well, I'll try and answer whatever question you may have about it..?"
Though she's taken by surprise at Breldo suddenly jamming a wad of webbing up her nose, tempted to prod at it had she a free hand to do so, she did register it for the makeshift bandaging that it was. At least able to feel the fact she no longer had blood streaming down her face.
Giving him a nod of thanks she continues on to return to the others.
And, indeed, upon hearing there was a way to sidestep all the pain she went through a pang of rage did cross Asimi's face before it was swiftly replaced by a neutral expression again. But nevertheless she holds the disk forward for them to look at, "Do you know what this is?" She would go on to explain the mental assault she and Nuria were both subject to, along with a repeat of the words it seemed to be speaking.
Olokas accepts the disc for a moment, glancing it over, before returning it.
"This vessel has some ideas, but doesn't know the details. This vessel knew it was a voice disk, though he never knew exactly what it said or did. But the voice would have been that of the emperor."
"...According to this vessel's memories, it would make sense that if the emperor's words told you to die, that... Well, it'd hurt. Not... Olokas memory as much as my own, but. While it is vague, I do recall our shared panic while inside that purifier came for a reason. An authority of such order commanding us to cease to be would certainly do that."
"I'm not certain what the implications of that might be. As for the first blood, it is said to be the Emperor's power. Olokas would say that he IS the First blood... In a sense."
"It seems everyone is winding down for tonight, so I will tell more about it in just a moment. Your friend asked me to relay as much as I could, after all."
---
Eventually, the group begins to wind down, likely settling just outside the main building. It's a nice night out after all, and presumably the group comes equipped with tents - Sleeping inside would likely make little difference, and the elf Sylvera has been pestering for more information at least wishes to stay outside.
As the first few stars start to appear in the sky, he seems strangely content. Closing his eyes, remembering, a brief furrow appeared... And then, returning back to the real world. It seems Olokas has gathered his thoughts enough to start telling his story, and Khond no doubt helpfully translates.
"I believe it is best I just give you the full story. As best as this vessel would know it. Even though I don't believe it is the full truth. From an outsider's perspective, I see some logical fallacies in this vessel's thoughts. But it is what he truly believed, and there is likely at least a core of truth."
"... Which also leads me to the conclusion that I do not believe this vessel was very nice. I... Do not believe I want to be like that. But it matters little for the tale."
"All starts with our king, our emperor, Adameus. As a god, he came to this world when it was still young. Not wishing to be alone, his first act was to reach out for the stars, and pluck one out. Reshaping it to be his lovely wife and empress, Evelynne. From there it is said that they had a hundred children, who had a hundred children, and from there the elven race was born. "
He pauses for a second in thought. "I think they had more than that, but it is only a story. And only the first few of their children really have their own stories."
"The emperor was a harsh, but fair ruler, his power as a god bringing nothing but peace to our world. The queen in contrast was benevolent and kind. It was commonly believed they kept each other in check."
"But we were not alone upon this world. Other races existed. Primitive beings, barely able to grasp language, let alone any kind of proper society. Until the emperor one day decided to grant these... Savages, the gift of the first blood. Uplifting them, allowing them the use of magic, and so hope to grant them proper culture and civilization."
"This vessel... Considers that to have been a mistake. As the stories go, the savages took this gift and used it not as a tool, but a weapon. Soon enough different species all went to war with each other. They raised their own, false gods, rather than paying deference to our shared father."
"And as the emperor eventually had to withdraw his support, not wanting to take sides in these conflicts, these savages showed appreciation for the gift they had been given."
"By murdering the queen."
"It has been one step too far. And so the emperor has decreed, that all savages are to be subjugated."
"... I suppose that is why this vessel was here. Until the last day, this station was being used to create acid floods over some city to the southeast from here. I suppose if you got to ask Olokas himself, he would theorize it was the savages that have somehow created the wasting, to stop a war they could not win."
"... In the same breath, he would claim savages would never be capable of such a thing. There are many such contradictions in his thoughts... "

Standing by while the restored elf recalled what memories he could, while most of it went straight over Asimi's head, bits and pieces of it did line up with things she remembers Comedy saying.
"'On the third day, He mixed his blood with the soil, and from there first came the elves, and then all other life as it is now known'," She quoted aloud slowly, "That does line up with what Comedy told us, doesn't it?" She asks to no one in particular before speaking to "Olokas" again, "Yet He also said "Father" was murdered by His children, but that doesn't seem to be the case here."
Of course, what Comedy had said had been more flowery than this... And it couldn't be discounted He was merely screwing with them again, but there was probably no harm in asking. Though Asimi couldn't shake much of what Comedy had told her earlier, nor how he'd outright backstabbed her. Likewise, she was still particularly bothered at how easily Comedy had seemed to make the others forget about Rick.

Sylvera frowns as Okalas tells his story. She isn't entirely sure how useful this information is, though she nods slightly when Asimi points out the parallels with Comedy's words. She is still trying to figure out why the entity asked about a war... and what war that would actually be.
She is intent on staying up for as long as it takes for the not-elf to return to stone--as unsettling as she finds that. Regardless, she hopes he can come up with more information or explanations of the information that he as already given. So she'll stay. Whether her thoughts will allow her to actually keep guard or not is a different question.
"By savages I assume he is describing every and all other races correct?"she says, feeling like she is stating the obvious but also wanting to clarify. "Does your lore contain information on how every other race was born? That... vessel as you call it seems to think the emperor was the only god, yet how can that be true if there were other races already present when he created elves?"There is a lot about this mythos that doesn't make sense to her. Why would this emperor be the only god who could give magic to his creations... and other creations apparently too? But... there are many races that could be considered fey like elves, so are they included in this elven mythology as well? Or are they considered savages like the rest? This information is probably completely useless, but that doesn't dampen her curiosity. Plus, who knows, with all the seemingly random information she's gotten out of this guy, maybe one of these questions could yield a useful answer.
Nuria seems slightly confused at Breldo's revealing his 'test', but she tries not to let the confusion hinder her helping Asimi. However, as soon as she latches onto the elf's arm, she hears that voice. She shivers as what feels like hot needles prick her consciousness, the pain and fear only cause her to try to latch on harder and yank the elf out. However, before she can give another tug, the voices vanish and she realizes that Asimi has pulled something from the stone.
She stands there stunned, still holding onto Asimi's arm as the two exit the area. She blinks and stares as Asimi holds up the disk, then realizes she's still holding her arm and releases it. "N-no. I-I didn't understand anything. I-it just...well...it was just how you explained. It was familiar...but also not."
She wipes some blood from her nose as the three make their way back to the others. She listens in scared silence to the new elf's story.
