Khond is in agreement with moving on.  Probably someone with a big horse.  A Clydesdale perhaps.  It's not too impressive for a horse to be bigger than him, after all. 

"Oh goodness no, Rick.  I can't even shoe my front hooves.  It's why we centaurs tend to live in herds.  We can make do without shoes for the most part, though."

The group continues onward, the next leg of their journey calm,nothing of too note happening. At least at first. It happens bit by bit, to the point that when the group finally starts taking note of it they wonder how long it's been going out. A few ravens in the trees above watching curiously, cawing out, their friends coming to join them... Before eventually there is an entire murder of them surrounding the trees around them. 

A innocent enough thing until one brave one swoops down from the trees, and gives Oren, the only one who hadn't been paying attention to them up till that point, a "tap" on the head.

Not enough to seriously hurt, though the loud cawing that follows almost sounds like cheers. The daredevil bird lands on a branch among its compatriot, and hops around for a bit in apparent victory. The whole spectacle makes Sylvia quiver and come close to Rick. 

"Guh, watch out for those things... They'd smatch me away given the chance!" 

"Friend Khond will forgive Rick for saying Friend Khond has a very awkward body. Even more than,"

He gestures expansively at everyone but himself around him.

Rick licks away a bit of errant drool while watching the big birds.

"Friend Sylvia stays close to Rick. Rick will snatch them away given the chance. Ravens would make tasty eating for Rick! Oh and Sylvia."

"Do you want to hide in my saddlebags, Sylvia?"

It's hard to tell if Sylvia is more or less comforted with Rick's statement. She glances over toward Khond. 

"How much room is in there?"

Taking a few steps closer to Sylvia, Asimi readies herself to try and defend the fairy should it come to that.

(Nothing shiny on Asimi either unless you count the chainmail armor and weapon.)

Discounting a rapier and arrowheads, Khond lost his only shinies to Rick.

He Yipes loudly when getting pecked in the head by the bird.  

"What in the hell is up with these birds."  Red in the face, maybe the first time you have all seem him really upset.  He seems to be angry and embarrassed at the same time.

"If they get worse, how do we fight a flock of birds???"
