Oren quickly looks about for any potential cover, and while there is nothing exactly ideal there is some shrubbery that should at the very least block the birds from diving straight for them.
Meanwhile, another bird gathers up the courage to go on the offensive, and dives for Asimi. Though rather than straight for her head, it seems like it's trying to land on her backpack- Pecking at it to see if it could get something nice.
Twisting her body in an effort to stymie the bird's efforts, Asimi swipes the flat of her halberd at it. Not looking to strike but to at least force it to reconsider. If possible she'll try and take note of what the rest of the flock is doing.
Breldo considers the murder of ravens. They're certainly acting very lively, but these birds are also known to just be clever little ********; with emphasis on that last part being perhaps the reason why they are acting like this. He's even heard about ravens doing what could probably be considered pranks before.
Even then, this probably falls a bit out of the ordinary, but maybe the birds are testing their limits? Or hoping to bully the group into giving something.
(Asimi, can you give me either an attack roll, or a skill check you think'd fitting? If you go for an attack it won't be to actually hit, just how "close" you can get to scare it.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Asimi swings and, while it's not the most accurate swing in existence, comes close enough to easily scare off the bird before it tries to do anything else. There is loud cawing from around them, but it seems that for the most part none of them are attacking in group, it seeming to just be individuals acting up. None the less, the cawing that comes in response to being attacked seems almost offended, and it almost feels like there is palpable hesitation among the murder.
Not that it seems they've given up just yet, as before too long, another Raven dares go for it.
Lucky for the birds, most have been staying in the trees, only swooping down one by one, at least so far, and the targets they have hit were a decent distance from Rick. Oren tries something else, though, quickly shrinking up a coin in his purse and showing it off. There is a loud cawing in response, and another one of the birds swoop down to snatch it up, deftly grabbing it and absconding back to the trees. They're even louder now, but it seems mostly directed at the one in their group that snatched it up rather than the party, as the overall interest seems to die off. A few birds even fly away.
There is still the one on top of Sylvera's head, though, showing that perhaps that doesn't count for all of them just yet.
(Sylvera most definitely is wearing shiny objects! necklace and earrings at the very least)
"Fowl creatures,"Sylvera hisses, anger lacing her voice as she lashes out at the ravens. Her face goes red as she struggles to get the one off her head, batting at it as it refuses to get out of her silver hair.
The raven makes an absolute mess from Sylvera's hair, and for a few moments doesn't even seem too deterred by the batting, but it eventually flies off. Some of the flock continues watching from the trees, but they seem to not be as interested anymore, almost disappointed, bird by bird dispersing.
(Assuming no one wants to do anything, the group can continue the last leg of traveling before nightfall.)
Asimi had been considering the prospect of scaring the whole flock off but it would seem they're simply losing interest on their own thanks to Oren's actions. Relaxing her body, she looks over at both Sylvia and Sylvera, "Are you both alright?" She'd ask, ready to continue as long as nothing more happens.
"Clever birds, ravens. Shame they're not sticking around. Omens of darkness to most, but fools those are. The smart ones like ravens and crows will gather consistently around those who are kind to them, sometimes even exchanging gifts with their favoured person, though in their eyes a valuable gift to give may be only a shiny button. Still, one favoured by the ravens is one worthy of kindness. You'll see them often portrayed as ominous creatures that flock to the villain in a play, but alas, plays rarely reflect reality."

Oren listens carefully to Khond, nodding as he spoke. "I didn't know most of that. That is an interesting take, and I hope you are right. They did seem far smarter than I thought birds would be. But then again, everything does seem to be changing."

And this time around, they go for the other elf in the party- One of the ravens looking to perch on Sylvera's head.
(Looking for what she / anyone else might do)
((Rick would like to catch one if comes his direction/arms reach.))
Oren begins rummaging through his small coin purse, which is nearly empty and finds the one he thinks is the most shiny silver piece he has.
He will take it and a bit of spit and rub it hard with his thumb and forefinger to give it as much of a sparkle as he can.
Then he will hold it up above his head in one hand, "Here Raven friends, here is a bright bit for you all. Take it as a gift!"

"I don't think that one realizes our noblewomen isn't a statue!", Breldo whispers to Nuria.

Rick watches the flock disappear with obvious disappointment.
"Little fairy friend, the Ravens have gone."
