The portcullis is open. There was a switch on the opposite side which I just got. It's the Iron door... So just waiting on a response about the lockpick check.
Taman uses his lock-picks and puts them in the lock and begins to fiddle around. A couple clicks came from the lock and just as it was turning it seized up and the tumblers all fell back in place. (DC 21 to unlock)

"Nice try, Taman." Alan says, patting his companion on the shoulder.
Alan cupped his hands at the door and shouted in Goblin as well as he could, which admittedly sounded more like an elephant trying to convince a goblin that it was a goblin.
Pulling off his shield, Fargrim goes through his bag looking for any thing he has that can use to open the door.
"I knew I should have brought a pickaxe with me," he complains. "Hell, even with hammer and pitons I bet we could break the rocks where the door hinge is to get through."
In frustration at finding nothing to help him, Fargrim rushes the door and tries to break it down.
Fargim rushes the door and hits it full stride.... and bounces off. The door seems to be unperturbed by the assault. He realizes it is a very strong door.

While the others are working on breaking the door down, Arynn will be looking around for any other options or something that can assist in getting the door open.
Dusting himself off after his failure in breaking down the door, Fargrim pulls his shield back on. "Well that went about as well as I expected it. Perhaps you should try picking the lock again Taman. Seems we have nothing but time unless some of the rest of you have tools."
Walking back towards the open portcullis, he returns to his goblin prisoner, lifting the poor creature up by the ropes binding it, holding it up face to face with him.
"If you want to live to see tomorrow, tell me how we can get in that door. Is there a spare key or secret passage?"
Arynn, you look for some way to open the door but aside from excellent lockpick skills or the key nothing presents itself.
Fargim, as you approach the goblin it begins to tremble in fear and at your words it's eyes drift slightly towards the door leading to the barracks. "you have to have a key to get in and only the master has that." It says but not in a very convincing manner.

Fargrim sets the goblin down and follows his gaze towards the barracks. "Goblins are terrible liars," he says in passing to his companions, "I think there may be a spare key or secret door somewhere this way... Hmmm.... what about the goblin which tried running? Where was he going? Probably not to open the portcullis."
Walking into the barracks, Fargrim heads directly to the wounded goblin, still unconscious on the floor. Taking his time, he thoroughly searches the goblin, trying to find a key.
Fargrim leaves the coins and dice with the unconscious goblin. After all, he might need them when he recovers. "There's no key on this goblin, but lets see if we can find another exit in this room," he says, seemingly to himself. Looking around the room, especially for any tapestries like they found in the troll cave, Fargrim begins a search for any secret passages.
"Hey Fargrim. You know stonework, right? If the door is too strong, what about the stone around it? Could we dismantle the stone around the door." Alan said, rubbing his hand along the wall.
