"Of course, you can stay the night. I do have that guest room near the study upstairs. You can use that room." says Bavorlna as see seems quite satisfied with soaking in the pool.
This is a dusty, uncluttered room. Several shadow boxes hang on the wall to either side of a modest bed with moldering linens. Most of the shadow boxes contain mummified pixies pinned to boards like a collection of butterflies. The glass on one of the shadow boxes has been broken, and its contents are missing.
There is 1 bed and let me know if you plan to keep watch or not.
As soon as the group gets upstairs and opens the bedroom door, Valrieth says as quietly as her fey bargain permits, "Finley, do you want to explore the other rooms up here before we go to bed? We probably have at least a few minutes while Bavlorna enjoys the pool downstairs." She stifles another yawn. "As tired as I am, it may be our last chance to look around without her watching over us. If we get caught, we could just say that we were looking for a snack before bedtime."
Val has one 2nd level spell slot left, so she could cast pass without trace again, and the group could check the cabinets in B10 and B11, B12, and B15 before settling down for the night. The primary goal is to find Octavian's heart. They may have to bargain for it, like they did with Clapperclaw's head, but Val thinks that it's better to know for sure that Bavlorna has it and where it is before they start bargaining.
(And, yes, when the group goes to sleep, Valrieth definitely wants to set a watch. 6 hours of sleep and 2 hours of watching each. Val prefers to have the last watch shift because she likes to be awake when the sun rises in the morning, even if she can't see it through all of the fog and dirty windows.)

Assuming that Finley is on board with this plan, Valrieth casts pass without trace and quietly leads the group back to Bavlorna's tea room (B10). Stealth20 (including bonus from the spell)
Since Bavlorna could return at any moment, she says, "Look but don't touch? I don't want to risk provoking Bavlorna until I'm better rested, but let's see whether she has the stolen heart on display somewhere in this room. It was impossible to look around when we were in shrunken size or back here bargaining with her."
Assuming that there's no Lornling or Will-o'-wisp on guard in this room, Val wanted to check the two cabinets that they saw when racing through that room. (OOC: referring to post #2052.) They emerged in shrunken form under a "potion cabinet" on the west wall of the room, and there was a "hulking wooden cabinet" on the opposite wall.
"Aye, let's check 'em out fer sure, ah agree that we can find what we needta without doing anything. Although if we find all of it.. we might think about getting it all and hightailing it outta 'ere." Finley adds as he tries his best to sneak through.

In B10 the cabinet by that you were under when small a potions cabinet is covered in moss. It is locked. Brushing aside some of the moss reveals the lock. The other cabinet jus holds dirty bric-a-brac.
"O' course Val! Ah'm mostly just handy with all kinds o' tools so ah know me way around just about everything ye can think of." Finley says, reaching for his toolkit, "even if ah cannae get it this time, ah'm sure after ah rest ah might be ready to try it again, it's been ah long day."

Valrieth says, "Yes, I understand. If you can't get it open, I'll add it to our list of pending tasks and open questions. Really, I'd expect that Bavlorna would keep the heart on display somewhere. If not, it's probably upstairs in the treasure room where we found Clapperclaw's head, but I'm definitely not ready to face that Will-o'-wisp again tonight."
Continuing superstitiously with their counterclockwise pattern of searching the house, Val listens at the door in the opposite wall (door to B11) while Finley works on the cabinet's lock. Perception9
Val asks Octavian to keep watch through door to the hallway (B7) so that he can warn them if he hears Bavlorna coming back upstairs from the pool. (Vansel can follow them or just hide / rest in the guest room if he wants. Val doesn't expect that they'll take too long to finish exploring the 2nd floor.)
"Blast it, do ye see anything else around 'ere that we might be able to check out?" Finley asks as he fiddles with the lock some more, "ah could also use some sleep, so maybe getting th' rest will be a good idea, if you're right and th' heart is up there ah'd rather not have to see th' foul creature again.. aht least not so soon."

"No," Valrieth admits, looking around. "Not in this room. As with the rest of the hut, it's mostly filled with a bunch of odds and ends mixed with old food and other garbage. I agree about avoiding the room upstairs tonight, but I'd like to learn enough tonight to know whether we're going to need to ask the Stars to point the way to Octavian's heart or to call forth one of the constellations to borrow some of its power."
Val looks at the other room's exits. "There are at least two other rooms on this floor that we haven't seen yet. There was a door that we didn't check in the kitchen," she says, pointing toward the door in the south wall, "and the room--or rooms--behind this door." She walks over to the door in the east wall and, without touching it, looks closely at the frame and the doorknob. Then she leans close to the door to listen with both of her long ears swiveled toward the door to listen.

Yes, once Finley is done with the cabinet, Valrieth wants to see the other rooms. As usual, she steps back so that Octavian can open the door to B11. Then she'll follow him into B11 as long as it looks safe.
"Blast it, does that door open over there, Val? Ah ain't havin' any luck over 'ere with the lock." Finley says, tucking away his tools, stepping away to see where the others are at.

Octavian opens the door and lets everyone in to B11
Slivers of light enter through cracks in the shutters that cover three tall windows. The light reveals the shapes of several pedestals. On each one rests an object with a patchwork cloth draped over it. Wilting ferns in crumbling clay pots give the room its earthy smell. The floor is covered in a layer of straw.

Val says, "I suppose Bavlorna might put her trophies on pedestals. Let's peek at what's under one of the covers...but don't get too close! Octavian, maybe you could use your sword to lift up the drape covering one of the pedestals?" Val casts produce flame and gets ready to throw the little flame if something attacks them when they lift the cover.

The guest room would be B8 on the second floor.
"Aye," Finley nods, glancing at Val before making his way towards the guest room.
