This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?
quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
The boggles look to each other and then the one that spoke before says "If its Granny Nightshade order then take the children" The boggles don't interfere as the kids moves towards Ilifir with a despondent look as they believe Ilifir also works for Granny Nightshade.
"hurry up, we've places to be" ilifir says in a carefree tone, turning to leave the room "better collect the rest and be on our way"

Aoife enters the room, looking around but misses the boggles until ilifir starts talking to them. She takes a few seconds to work out what ilifir is doing, but waggles her eyebrows at ilifir once she catches on, and moves to encourage the kids to follow.

an archway to the east leads to a storeroom.
Valrieth is startled when the boggles emerge. She says, "I'd better check that no one's in the back room."
Val holds her fire up above her head and goes into the storeroom briefly. She looks for any children who may be hiding there and scans briefly for anything else that the party could use on their quest. Perception20
Valrieth stuffs the items in her backpack as quickly as she can and then returns to L12 and follows Ilifir out the door. As she crosses L12, she "reports" to him, "No other children in that room, Sir. I think we got everyone." Once out of L12, she waits nervously until everyone is out of the room, and they can close the door behind them.
"that was fun and vaguely terrifying" ilifir mutters "why did i let you drag me into this madness?" he turns to the children "alright try to be quiet and we'll get you out of here, we're trying to rescure all of you before the house breaks"

Valrieth says confidently, "We didn't drag you into it, Ilifir. The Stars simply had a more heroic destiny for you than you expected." She tells the children, "It's going to be OK. Downstairs, quick and quiet, if you please." She helps to herd the children back downstairs to the portrait room.
Once downstairs, Val tries to gather up the children in the middle of the room, channeling her best "big sister" energy: "Come here. Be careful: stay away from the thorns! Now, we're all still in danger, so we need you to be quiet. No cheering, understand? We're not really working for the hag. In fact, Granny Nightshade is dead. We've already freed Mishka, and we're going to get you out of here. Will of the Feywild is waiting in the woods south of Loomlurch to take you to safety. But we need your help to rescue the other children."
Val looks around the room again. There's the door back to the kitchen, a door that presumably leads to the west yard, and a door to the south. She is trying to figure out whether to send the children the same way Mishka went, out the east door of the kitchen and through the yard. But she's now a little worried that there might be more redcaps out there. The west lawn might be an option, but they'd have to check. There's a door that opens to the west from the portrait room (L11). The only other option seems to be taking these 3 children through Loomlurch with them and leaving through the south exit.
Val asks the children first about other dangers in Loomlurch and then about what they know of the rest of the building. They party needs to take the quickest route to get all of the children out safely. Some of her questions:
"We know about Cradlefall, the dragon, but does Granny Nightshade have other loyal guards in Loomlurch? Other than those awful tin soldiers, I mean."
"Do you know where this door," pointing at the one to the south, "leads? Do you know what rooms are between here and the toy workshop?"
"Is there anything else dangerous in this place? Like a trap or a curse, that would prevent us from getting you all out of Loomlurch?"
"We've been through the lawn east of Loomlurch, but do you know whether the lawn on the west of Loomlurch is safe? Could you cross the west lawn and get to the little gully thats south of Loomlurch?"
Finally, Val asks them, "Those fey creatures upstairs, those were 'boggles,' right? Are there any other boggles in Loomlurch?" Val reminds the other party members that to get out of Prismeer, they're going to need Squirt's help. Squirt is willing to guide them out of Thither in exchange for boggle oil. She'd rather rescue the other children first and then come back for the boggles, but it would be nice if they didn't have to go all the way back to L12 to do that.
(OOC: Is Elkhorn still with us? Maybe we can coax Elkhorn to take charge of the children and follow the party, keeping them safe as we clear the way ahead.)
When the party looks to the stairs several steps have collapsed and the rest of the steps seem more fragile them ever. The height of the curving stairs from top to bottom is 10ft.

(OOC: Oh! OK. Pause the previous post until we back downstairs to L11.)
Valrieth looks to Finley and says, "Your rope?" She looks around for anything stable to tie the rope to.
ilifir flies up the stairs to the upper doorway, braces his feet against some of the more solid looking stairs for balance, and starts hammering a piton in above the doorframe "half a sec"

(OOC: @willow_ivyleaf - Based on the Loomlurch map (OOC message #1171), there's no door at the top of the stairs. It looks the stairs just open right onto the landing. Is Ilifir hammering a piton right at the top of the stairs? Or above the doorfame of the door that leads to L12?
@Weathervision - Did the door open into room L12 or out into the landing?)
Ilifir please roll Deception Check.

The children still look a bit sad "Yes we are fine, now what is our next task?" says a female goblin child.
They still think you work for Granny Nightshade.
There are 3 children with you
8-year-old female goblin
9-year-old female gnome
9-year-old male gnome

There are only smooth circular walls around you and nothing to tie a rope to, though if someone has a piton they can hammer it into the wood.
