(OOC: Oops! I see that I put 2d8 instead of 1d8 in the bestial spirit's damage roll. The tooltip isn't showing individual rolls, so here's a replacement damage roll.)
"Good job, Finley!", Valreith cheers. But she's frustrated with her inability to hit the tin soldier and a little worried about how long they'll last against so many of them. Val switches to a new cantrip that she hasn't used yet: Frostbite. She reasons that metal gets brittle when it gets cold. She hopes that the toy soldiers will be affected by the spell, and she pays close attention to how they react to the spell.
Movement: None. Action: Cast spell Frostbite on tin soldier #2. Target must make a DC 15 CON save or take damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (cold) If the tin soldier fails its saving throw, it also has disadvantage on the next weapon attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn. Bonus Action: None Free Action: Talking
Immediately after Val's turn, the glittering fox (summoned beast) acts.

(OOC - Weathervision - you've said that Aoife's attacks all miss, but I'm not sure if you saw her third attack in round 1 was 22 to hit for 8 damage.)
Round 2:
Aoife grunts and shoots again with her bow, hoping to help take down more of the soldiers before they burst through the first line into the room and they are all forced to fight at close quarters.
spike continues to harry whichever soldier is closest to finley, keeping it distracted to help the dwarf strike, and ilifir launches another pair of darts
spike: help EB: 23/10 26/14 and first to hit deals an extra 3 bludgeoning damage

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?
quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
Seeing 2 of their comrades fall in combat the remaining 4 do not enter the room. From Standing next to the doorway Finley can see 2 further down the stairs though he cannot see the other 2 Tin Soldiers. Perhaps they are waiting for the party to leave L9
If any soldier is within thirty feet Finley casts Thorn Whip, otherwise moving a little forward to reach them and lashes out at the closest one, "Get right on over 'ere!"
Action: Cast Thorn Whip: Hit: 19, Damage: 10 piercing and is pulled 10 ft. closer to Finley.
Move: Whatever is necessary to bring them in range up to 25.

(eldritch blast, 10 and 8 to hit, the nat one on the second roll triggers a chaotic flare: 2 Disruption Field. Waves of energy ripple around you. Every creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of you, or that moves into that area for the first time on a turn, takes 1d8 force damage.)
