Darnell grabs the lit torch from his doorway, lifting it up towards the ceiling. Being so short, though, Darnell can only get the torch's flame about 5 feet off of the ground.
Letting out one more loud squawk, Darkwing uses his voice to speak in common. "Let's look in the statues mouth with one of those torches before we get out of here." Keeping his wings tucked in he quickly takes a torch to look in a statues mouth.
Mara watches the cieling after someone called for the others to do so. The thoughts of her lost companions are out to the back of her mind as she sees the strange tar like substance. Once again she will be ready to cast a spell, turning towards Darkwing when he runs towards the demonic looking statue. She stands still and watches to see what is about to happen.

Rumble cocks his head to the side. "Ahh-wha... O-oh... uhh.... Okayyy. But I got my eyes on you talking cat man." He gives Shadow the classic eye to eye gesture. Then with his hopefully new dagger in toe, he slots the weapon in his belt, and finally takes notice of the others. Each are eyed with varying degrees of suspicion in turn, starts to say something, only to hold his tongue and grab a torch of his own.
"Don't s'pose any of you folk got any clues how we got here?" He asks while keeping an eye on the ceiling. Then, hearing the bird man make his way over to the statue, Rumble follows after a second of hesitation, and starts studying the statue along with him. And by examine, he is mostly there to look the part while occasionally throwing sidelong glances at the bird to see if HE notices anything.

Rumble wrenches a bar free from the door, the door itself clanging to the ground as it fills the quiet corridor with a din of clattering. Orileo thinks he can use the bar as a makeshift very poor club in the meantime, until he finds something better to use. The metal doesn't look in any decent condition, so could easily break.
Darkwing takes one of the torches and heads over to the demonic face at the far end of the corridor. He brings the torch down to the shouting mouth, wide enough open for someone to crawl into. The light seems to have difficulty illuminating the statue's open maw, but the flickers of light that do get inside seem to show what appears to be a sloping tunnel going deeper down into wherever they are.
Shadow reckons whatever the ceiling is made of, it doesn't appear to be natural to where he comes from.
(OOC: If you want to know knowledge checks, just feel free to pre-empitvely roll them and I'll respond to them in kind. In this case, the nature check would not yield anything of use about the ceiling)
Darkwing wonders if he could fit in the hole in the statue. "Are there anyother ways out of this room other than this hole?" he says to the group. "I don't like being around this tar ceiling."

Seeing that nothing jumped out of the strange statue's mouth, Mara will move closer to look at it herself. She noticed the tunnel and frowned as she had no intention of crawling in there unless it was the only way out of here."So it seems that we are the only ones here. I had two others with me but they are not here. I suggest that for the time being we should try to work together if you all are willing to risk trusting each other. Leojym will bolt up awake. "What's going on here?! Where am I?" He flings himself to the bars of the cell and sees the torches moving away from him. "What in the Nine Hells. Come back here at once!" Rattling the bars he notices the cell door can be moved. He cautiously opens the door and steps out while taking in his surroundings.
Perception: 19
He will also use his Historical Knowledge background feature to try to determine the purpose and builders of the dungeon in which he finds himself.
The unusually tall and unusually thin elf begins following the torches moving away. "Wait up, does anyone know what's going on?" As he comes into view, everyone sees this svelte figure with long pointed ears, gold eyes, bronze skin, and golden-blonde hair. He reaches for something, probably a necklace. "By the grace of Angharradh, what has happened?"
As Shadow returns her concentration back to the ceiling, it appears that the substance is cycling slowly around from one end to another in a clockwise direction.
Leojym pulls the door to his cell open. As he looks around the area, the architecture is incredibly simple. It looks like this may have been made centuries ago, though the cement appears untouched by time. he notes the others, as well as the two statues at either end. Whatever the purpose, it looks like this area is meant to be some sort of jail or prison.
Rumble squints at Mara for a second, and then his eyes go wide. "Silverymoon? Huh. I think I heard of that place. Never been mind'ju, but me mum talked 'bout it once or twice."He admits with a shrug. "Oh shucks. That was rude of me." He smiles toothily and pats a hand on his chest with his free hand. "Folks just call me Rumble." The smile falters for a moment before he looks away muttering something in some deep, guttural language bordering on the sounding like earth churning.
He starts at the sound of Leojym's uproar, and starts to make his warily make his way back over to him. But the elf sort of beats him to the punch. "Well I'll be... yer an elf! Like a real one! Huh! Never thought I'd live to see the day. Names Rumble. That's Darnell over there. Miss Mara. And, uh..." He pauses in his absent-minded motion to each individual in turn at the bird man. "I... uh.. I didn't quite catch the other twos name, so I-I'll just let'em introduce themselves." With that, Rumble carefully side-steps everyone as he makes his way to the other side of the corridor towards the androgynous. All the while for the most part studying the gunk to see if he could recall any stories mentioned by his mother about gunk in strange dungeon like places.

Mara raised an eyebrow at the strangely polite tone of the genasi as he speaks, finding his name strange before shrugging it off. She had spent time around orcs and had heard much stranger names there. She jumps though as someone calls for the guards suddenly. She knows thar it is not one of her expedition companions so she shrugs it off. Now would be a wonderful time for my patron to help.... If there is room in this large room, Darkwing flaps his wings enough to get a closer look at the tops of the statues and the tar ceiling. I also will see what the reaction to the torch the tar has by placing the fire near it.
