Fin actually takes no damage from the attack, as the blade scrapes off his armor. [Heavy Armor Master for the win!]
Attacking the one who actually connected with his midsection, Fin swings his sword low, aiming to main but not kill. 19 + 5 = 24 to hit, 3 + 5 = 8 slashing damage from his longsword.
So Fin, your opponent drops back, severely bloodied. Rex your opponent keels over and hits the ground dead. The remaining two bandits come at you. One shots at Fin with his crossbow. Role: 6+3=9. Fin, you suck and roll, somersaulting out of the path of the bolt. Rex, the bandit attempts a clumsy lunge with his scimitar, but is blade clangs of your armor. Fin your up.
Fin briefly allows his eyes to glance at the arrow that missed him, and then regards the attacker in from of him again. "Now would be the time to surrender, [orcish]my friend[/orcish]."
Even if it's allowed, I rolled Intimidate: 7 + 2 = 9 so doubtful.
Fin will give the man only a half moment to consider. If it doesn't look like he sways in his resolve at all, then the officer presses the attack again, swinging hard, but trying not to kill. A lost eye, or a limb - whatever.

Fin, your opponent spits at you, but grunts and falls back as you strike him hard. Rex your opponent ducks under your blow and readies one of his own. Irthos, you will be there the round after the next.

Ninjacat, I'm not adding my proficiency bonus to damage rolls, I'm adding 2 -- which happens to coincidentally currently be my proficiency bonus. If you go back to the first page of this whole thing, you'll see I'm playing a fighter with the Dueling fighting style. All of the damage totals I've given thus far have been correct. Trust me, mi compadre, I know how to play my character properly. ~_^
In the future, I feel concerns like this should handled privately.
Ninjacat, Fin is right the dueling fighting style states that: "When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon."
Rex kicks back and swings the great sword in the bandits direction.
To Hit: 20!! crit!! Damage: 5d6 + 3 = 26 damage (orc racial for extra d6)
Rex cleaves into the man with a beastly ferocity, spewing a generous amount of blood into the air and on the floor. With droplets of blood running down his face he turns his fierce stare onto the other bandit. Looking almost as he's on the brink of giving into his primal orcish bloodlust, waiting for his prey to make his next move.
OOC: Not sure if Fin has seen this side of Rex before, but he's at least heard of the behavior. If Fin wanted to he could probably get Rex to calm down, or perhaps he could use the rage to his advantage to get the other guy to surrender.

If Fin wanted to he could probably get Rex to ... use the rage to his advantage to get the other guy to surrender.
I'm still hazy on when my next turn is, but yeah, something like that. I guess talking is a free action, so...
Fin is very well acquainted with this side of half-orcs, given that he has been courting one for some time now. Rex's proto-frenzy doesn't phase the officer in the slightest; if anything, he allows a rare grin to his face as he regards the remainder of the bandits. "[orcish] I find they lose much of their will to fight when their bladders aren't full. Let's see about draining this one's, hey Rex? [/orcish] "
Hearing the words from his comrade he snaps to "You best fall to your knees and beg this officer for mercy, as he is the only one that can save you now."
Turning to Fin "[orcish]Thank you friend...[/orcish]"
A slight, curt nod of acknowledgement is all Fin gives Rex just then, keeping his full focus on their foe. Eyebrows furrowed, Hornblower cocks one questioningly at the man Rex addressed, and adjusts his grip on his sword.
Fin signals Rex to bind the man, and points to the unconscious bandit he didn't kill. What's the guard's procedure for arresting criminals? Hornblower then begins to look around for the man they were dragging away.

Rex will continue to engage the one in front of him.
Attack: 4 + 5 = 9
Damage: (3 + 3) + 3 = 9 slashing damage
Likely missing, Rex swings the sword around and readies to attempt to parry the next blow.
Fin, your opponent spits at you, but grunts and falls back as you strike him hard. Rex your opponent ducks under your blow and readies one of his own. Irthos, you will be there the round after the next.

I don't know whose turn is up next, but when it gets to Fin again, assuming his target is still behaving aggressively:
Attack: 17 + 5 = 22
Damage: 1 + 5 = 6 slashing
Again, nonlethal.
You hit the bandit and his eyes glaze over as he falls to the ground. 25 xp to you. Rex your up next.
When in doubt, magic missle
Just a note here:
The only attacks where you can use your profeciency bonus in damage is a hexblade warlock against a cursed target.
NatheDM, your previous attack dealt 4 damage, not 6. In fact, all of your attacks did 2 less damage.
I am the hexblade warlock, and even so, you are not level 13. (Then multiple curses between rests.)
