As previously investigated, the horses have saddles, and the saddlebags have been looted prior to the party arriving. However, with another thorough check of the area there appears to be a discarded leather map case.
Chad, with some assistance from Randaler, manages to pick up on some of the tracks of the goblins. It appears that their trail comes from the northwest, leading away from the path and into the wilderness. From the looks of things, the previous encounter where the horses were killed, there were around a dozen goblins at the location, and there are signs of two drag marks going back along where they came from. The drag marks could be the bodies of whoever were riding the horses.
Checking over the goblins, they seem to be wearing some basic leather armour sized for them. There are also two scimitars and shields, as well as two shortbows. Between them there are around 20 retrievable arrows that can be used.
"Does anyone in the party require a shield? I could definitely use one in case of danger. I'm not the strongest person around haha." She says as she scratches her head.
Mary picks up a shield and hums a tune along with a gesture and it becomes absolutely spotless. "Ain't you quaint" She whispers. Looking up, she notices the drag marks Randeler points at.
"Well, let's go mates. We haven't all day." She says as she starts off.
The group reconvenes at the cart. Kres' checking of the scroll case reveals it is empty. The group can take the cart off the trail to follow the path that the goblins have gone down, using the tracks they found.
I would like people to say what their marching order is. Up to 2 people (at least 1) can be on the cart's seat, driving it forward. Then either say if you are scouting ahead of the cart, or travelling beside the cart. It is probably advised that someone who has either taken proficiency in Animal Handling or at least a semi-decent bonus in the skill take the reins, just in case the horse requires some taming off the trail.
Randaler is proficient on both Survival (for tracking) and in Animal Handling, so could do either. Preference would be tracking, but will defer to the group.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Can I do that nature check on the horses before we decide?

“I’m not sure we shouldn’t check on the two riders. I mean the drag marks look fresh..... at least check the trail a little further while we’re here.”
If we don’t investigate the trail and leave in the wagon, I’ll ride on the wagon in the back with the supplies. I’m no scout and one hit may kill me. Plus I’m going to be famous someday. How is that supposed to happen if I’m dead?

also, are the horses just wild horses or are they saddled? If they’re saddled I want to dig through the saddle bags if there are any.

Mary beings playing her lyre giving [Bardic Inspiration] [1d6] to whoever wishes to search for additional information on the tracks.

Kres will walk over to where the leather map case is, picking it up and opening it to see if there is a map in it.

Randaler would have picked up a quiver and the arrows from the goblins before joining Chad near the horses.
Then, pointing at the drag marks on the ground he says “Sure hope that wasn’t our employer, and his friend...”

Kres will wander over to mary.
"I do not think people will complain about you protecting yourself better." He says to her as he looks around the area.

"I think we should atleast investigate even if they aren't our employers, plus if it is Gundren I owe him one."

Haize reads his prayer book and starts reading. (Just looking for something to do on the trip. )
After reading a few pages he turns to Mary and asks. "How long is the trip to Neverwinter? Also, what was Gundren Rockseeker doing before you left?"
(Yeah I'm bad at small talk and posting... )

Kres will bring the map case along, he will try to remember if Gundren had something like this when he left with Sildar.
