Once you get him down the vertical tunnel (no easy feat) and into the tunnel below, the party prepares to take him to Calderon to see if someone can understand him.
Everyone receives 28 Xp
I assume you are going as a group. What is your marching order Usually it's S, O, L, A, T, FE, FS. Where do you insert the skulk, and what precautions are you talking?
Are you talking the shortest route (see map below)?
(That works for me except I want the skulk in between Laladak and Oreus just in case he gets any ideas we can drop him. The skulk also has its hands and arms bound to its torso.)
It’s hard to walk without your arms, tie his hands together but let his arms move you can just hold the rope like a leash. The path outlined above seems fine and about the shortest route out.

Shadow lvl 3 variant feral tiefling rogue Shackled City
In a rasp, "It may be easier to walk but its also easier to stab me in the back with his arms free. I personally dont give a shit if he falls." Laladak continues to wrap the skulks arms.
Laladak doesn't want to take any chances, and ties the skulk up good. Before Oreus stuffs a gag in his mouth, he offers the skulk a biscuit. The skulk eats the biscuit, but finds it dry.
As the party climbs the stairs up to Keygan's shop, the skulk suddenly stops on the first landing (going up, second landing if you were descending), and starts knocking his head on the the southern wall (opposite the next flight of stairs) and then jerks his head up sharply at the empty iron torch sconce mounted on the south wall. (In the spoiler is the text I gave you when you first came down the stairs.)
The staircase descends another twenty feet before opening into a room. From this landing, you can hear strange sounds emanating from the chamber below, specifically chirping birds, rustling leaves, and cheery giggles. The landing itself is bare save for an empty iron torch sconce mounted on the south wall.
Oreus extracts a rope, it takes him a while in the little space ha has, finally he passes it at the ones in front
,
Laladak will tie up the skulk and unless instructed otherwise he takes him out of the lost city
I got alot a doods

(Maybe put the skulk int he middle right behind laladak?

"Before we go further, we need to gag him, in case he calls his friends, and search him for traps/explosives."
Alben will search the skulk for anything concealed: investigation: 20

Laladak do you think Shadow's suggestion is good? Or do you still want to secure his arms?
I’ll post soon

Oreus agrees to tie his hands and with the rest of the rope like a leash.
while the others tie him he extracts two biscuits: he eats one and gives the others to the skulk
“I’d also gag him, yes, and let’s go the route we always made”
does he eat the biscuit?

Alben searches the skulk, but comes up empty.

Oreus tries the sconce up and down, then pushing or pulling it
”maybe there is leverage...?”
,
After playing with the sconce for a few seconds, Oreus determines that it moves sideways. Either clockwise or counterclockwise.
He mimics to the skulk one way or the other to see which way he nods in agreement
,
As Oreus mimics moving the sconce clockwise the skulk nods his head. As Oreus moves it counterclockwise the skulk shakes its head.
Laladak gets Ready to swing on anything that might attack.

"No way this could go badly," Tyris says, since they have no reason to trust the skulk yet. But he also readies his bow in case enemies appear.
“So be it”
clockwise
,
Oreus moves the sconce clockwise and a secret door opens up to reveal a dusty 10x20 foot room to the south of the landing.
