Shadow spoke his piece and kept walking back home. With the weirdness of being kicked from the bar before close means bad omens in the night, not a time to be messing in dark alleys. The two remaining thugs turn a charge a Tyris. Both attacking him while trying to put him between themselves and that great sword. (They fail to position themselves, leaving themselves wide open from the back).

The priest introduces himself as Ruphus a Cleric of St. Cuthbert. He thanks the party for helping him and seeing that Tyris is hurt he casts casts cure wounds8 + 1 on him. As he finishes with Tyris he says
"I was heading back to the temple when they jumped me. At first I thought they were going to rob and kill me, but they just wanted to scare me away from trying to find out what happened to the children. Can you escort me back to the temple?"
