The dart buries itself deep in Hemlock's shoulder and he cries out in pain.
"We tried to let the Aarokocra go, we didn't want to hurt him, or anyone. We just want to leave", he says, his usual slow speech even slower as he speaks through the pain.
He then points at Grommit and speaks once more in the druidic tongue, "Chwyn a gwinwydd yn dyfod i'm cymmorth". As he does so, weeds and vines begin to grow all around Grommit, grasping at him and covering the area in front of the door that the goblin came through.
"Weeds and vines come to my aid"
Hemlock then suddenly disappears!
Those with especially good hearing might hear his footsteps over the sounds of the conflict as he rushes around the corner, likely having to squeeze passed his allies.
Action: Cast Entangle: Covering the room with Grommit at it's most Western point, hopefully not encompassing Sha-gravis. DC 13 Strength save or Grommit is Restrained. Either way it becomes difficult terrain. Bonus Action: Hidden Step - turns invivislbe until the start of his next turn Movement: Rushes as far around the corner and up the stairs to the north as possible. Special: Concentration Entangle - Round 1/10
Grommit twists and jumps, seeming to sense the writhing vines with his feet and avoid them with uncanny instinct. "Nice try, gardener," he growls, clearly becoming more irate.
Saoirse, feeling way better after being healed, looks gratefully at Tesfaye. Then frowns at the idea of leaving Sha-gravis behind, but she can't deny the cleric's idea is a very good one. If they run and make it to the yard, their numbers could be increased, and so their chances. That is, of course, provided that Billy Beerbelly accepts helping them against Grommitand his men.
Seeing that the goblin cook has managed to free himself from Hemlock's vines, she tries a similar approach. She's not confident her magic will be strong enough, but will try nonetheless.
Speaking in primordial, the language that represents her race and that she feels more attached to when casting blood magic, she points a finger to Grommit and attempts to curse him. As she does so, the tattoos covering her right arm seem to flare and, though they are already flame-colored, they become much more intense, as if they have become fire itself.

Bonus action: Blood curse of binding on Grommit (STR ST DC 12).
Blood Curse of Binding
As a bonus action, you can attempt to bind a Large or smaller creature you see within 30 ft. of you. It must succeed on a STR Saving Throw (DC 12) or the cursed creature’s speed reduced to 0 and it cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn.
Action (Dash) + Movement = I'll move my token what I believe are 60 feet! (thought not so sure, @polaris, so move me back if I have calculated wrong and moved too much!).
For a moment, glowing lines appear on Grommit's skin in an echo of Saoirse's tattoos. They fade immediately, but he looks in shock at his own arms and legs, which suddenly seem unwilling and unable to move.
"What... foul magic... is this?" He says, as he comes to a forced stop.
Grommit's speed is reduced to 0, and he can not take reactions until the end of Saoirse's next turn. He is standing on difficult terrain.
Footfalls continue to approache through the hall behind him.
Lam has ceased to think straight. When Markus runs away, Lam turns his hatred toward Grommitand prepares to charge him. Suddenly, the whole area to get to Grommitis covered in vines. Lam growls in frustration- his friends are in danger and he cannot even get to the puny goblin hurting them! He looks ready to charge into the vines anyway when he is suddenly stopped in his tracks by someone speaking in primordial- a language he knows. He turns to see Saoirse’s tattoos on her arms glowing as if they are made of fire, and her speaking what seems to be some sort of magic. All the rage seems to seep out of him as he watches and listens to Saoirse- he recognizes the words and watches the effect they have on Grommit. He realizes that the vines and weeds growing around Grommit are also due to Hemlock, who he can no longer see. Sha, as well, is at the ready to defend all of them to let them get away. They’re all trying to restrain Grommit. It would be stupid of him to ruin his friends’ efforts to just go and attack.
His wits about him once more, Lamshouts in goblin, “Wir werden friedlich gehen, wenn Sie nicht mehr angriffen!”He puts away his greataxe in front of the goblin so he is now holding no weapons, then turns tail after Saoirse.
“We will leave peacefully, if You (formal) do not attack anymore!”
Note: Lam has lost his rage, since he did not attack anybody and nobody attacked him this turn.
Movement+action: Take a full dash away, towards the yard.
Grommit retorts sadly in Goblin, "dafür ist es zu spät," before continuing in a more aggressive tone in Common,"you killed Aerar. You're connected somehow to this attack on our walls. I can not allow your escape!"
It's too late for that.
He reaches again into his jacket, his arm moving fluidly although the strain on his face is clear, and throws two darts at Sha-Gravis. The Tabaxi's ready stance allows him to block one of the darts with his shield, but Grommit's aim is true, and the second dart finds the tiniest gap between shield and armor, and buries itself in Sha's flesh. 7 points of damage. He is, however, unable to move his legs and begin to chase you all down.
Tesfayeruns north into the hallway back towards the yard, dashing 60 feet. While passing Sha, he says, "I'm all out of the healing elixir. Sorry!"
Three HMC guards appear in the doorway behind Grommit. they are shocked at the scene, and their hands are on their weapons (two with scimitar, on with a crossbow.
Saffi slings the shorbow onto her back as the other guards appear in the doorway. At the sight of Lam felling after the rest of her companions, the changeling books it after the rest of the group.

Hemlock reappears just as he is pulling the dart out of his shoulder, grunting at the effort and pain it causes. Looking at the dart, he is about to drop it, but instead holds on to it. He has seen most of his companions hurry passed him down the corridor already, and spots Sha-Gravis just behind him.
"Do not hold back, run Sha-Gravis", he says, fully aware of the speed that the tabaxi can deploy.
With that he lopes forward on his long legs as quickly as he can.
Movement: 30ft towards the yard Action: Dash - 30ft towards the yard Special: Concentration Entangle - Round 2/10
As you run back towards the Yard, you pass two "cells" more finely furnished than the others, although everything is still simple. These have two single beds, rather than bunks. Ahead of you is the same locked gate leading further up to Coldwater Keep's tower, and behind it the large locked door. You each pass near Aerar's bleeding, broken body as you flee, with varying degrees of discomfort at the sight. Grommit is behind you, for now, but his haste is formidable, so we're still in initiative.
I have updated the map in Owlbear, and am now back at the home computer, so maps should be able to load for all again. It is Saoirse's turn.
Saoirse keeps running and running. Though she's able to perceive Grommit grunting at his sudden inability to move, and some kind of attack landing on a companion (most probably, Sha-gravis), she steels herself and doesn't turn to check what's happened. Fully trusting the tabaxi's (and the rest of the companion's) speed, focuses on the path in front of her.
She's still clutching her scimitar, and doesn't forget that the dwarven guard from before is probably still in the cell he put himself into. Saoirse wonders what he'll do when Grommit and his men see him. Will he join them? He seemed to have lost the will to fight, but what if he recovers it? At least he's not armed anymore but she'll be careful and check just in case he decides to attack as they pass by.
While she can not see anybody from where she's standing, Saoirse can hear shouting coming from around the corner to the northwest, among the other prisoner cells.
"Who's out there? I can hear fighting out there! Let me out! I'm innocent! Help? Help?!"
Lam keeps running, each step a loud thud as he follows Saoirse. He trusts his friends to all keep running as well. With the goblin in pursuit, they have no time to lose. Lamracks his brain as he runs: there's got to be a way to halt the enemies even as they run. Unfortunately, Lam has yet to think of something.
Lam can now also hear the voice of what seems to be another prisoner, pleading to be freed.
Grommitstruggles and strains his way through the vines, but when he bursts free he runs with graceful haste. He vaults over Sha-Gravis, landing just north of him in the hall, and falling immediately into a martial artist's masterful stance. He is caught up, and ready to hit you. But he used his action on a dash, so he hasn't hit you yet. "You can't outrun me, choir-boy."
Tesfaye runs while looking back, and just as they round the corner, they twists their multitool and thrusts it in Grommit's direction. A beam of pale blue light (ray of frost) streaks out, but in their panic Tesfaye failed to aim precisely enough. It goes wide, and its only effect is to leave a little spot of frost on one of the wall's stones. "I am sorry, wise new friend. Good luck.
The other HMC guards trudge their way across the grasping vines and weeds, and manage a few more steps after pushing through. Sha-Gravis can not quite see them, but can clearly hear them. "Oh gods not Aerar!" "She had come so far." "We'll get them for this!"
Sha-gravis will look at Grommit, "Ich werde dich nicht nur überlisten, ich werde dich auch überlisten. Ich wünschte, ich wäre im Chor, hast du jemals den Chor der Schwester gesehen?"
I will not only out run you, I will also outwit you. I wish I was in the choir, have you ever seen the Sister's choir?
Action. Disengage while he's talking using nonverbal gestures to distract as he maneuvers around and away from the goblin.

Grommit seems confused and surprised. In Goblin, "Warum kannst du unsere Sprache? Prediger kümmern sich normalerweise nicht um uns." He doesn't swing his fist out at Sha until the tabaxi has already sprinted away. "Dammit!"
Why can you speak our language? Preachers usually don't try with us.
One of the abundant wall lanterns falls to the floor and goes out. A minor nuisance, but not a significant effect on the overall level of light.
Saffi continues to follow her comrades, not stopping to look back or interact with the goblin or anything else. She's redirected her focus to getting out of the place in one piece.
Action: Full dash @ 60 ft
