Corlith pulls out another moonstone of similar quality, "Not sure if two of lesser quality will work, but take them if you need them".
When they enter the room that is a dead end he is a little bit more careful than previously after having been ambushed before, but takes a look around the room and particularly at the statues, making sure not to touch or get too close.
Wary of the statues that hid ghosts before, Reed stays clear, but he does check the walls of this room to make sure it really is a dead end, knocking and tapping as he looks for secret doors or panels.
IronMaiden had been busy using the two moonstones to imbue the little homunculus with life, as the group prepare to go they adjust their visor, "I'd like to check the room for residual magic if we can spare the time for my calibrations" (10 minutes ritual casting detect magic) "this will hopefully last for the next room or so for our search, we don't want to waste time if there is a magically hidden passage or such"
“My thoughts exactly. Please proceed.” Virro says to the Ironmaiden. While that is going on, Virro retraces his steps, finding the footprints and seeing where they stopped. He checks the walls and the statues as well, looking for anything that was missed, a lever or some secret door. He checks very closely where the footsteps end.
After the time spent calibrating, the IronMaiden casts their arcane vision across the room along with their new lantern of revealing and find nothing. "nothing of note, This detection of residual magic will hold up for a short time, we should move quickly" they say, nodding to reed to lead on to the unexplored rooms.
The team retraces their steps and back at the landing, Virro notices that the tracks head the other direction where Reed had gone originally. As you all head down the western set of steps you run into the corridor that heads north and south.
The path curves going both directions and scoping it out a bit, you see a room in the center of the curving hallways, and the space also opens up to the west, which direction do you head?
Corlith checks the strap on his shield to make sure it is tight, casts a protective spell on himself and then follows the others in the direction indicated by Ironmaiden.
Virro walks forward, heading toward the area mentioned by Ironmaiden, moving cautiously. He readies his shield as well, his lips seem to be moving in silence.
You all turn the corner and cautiously head south to where IronMaiden is noticing the aura of magic through their detect magic spell.
As you enter the rounded sort of room, you see that the walls of this chamber are lined with funerary shelves. Each set of shelves hold dusty humanoid bones. Relics and holy symbols of Lathander, Torm, Helm, and Tyr have been set prominently on a number of shelves.
Virro says, “Some of these bones have inscriptions on them. What is the point of this…”. He starts to poke the bones with a dagger to roll them over, reading the inscriptions if he can. He does not speak them aloud, just looks at the language to see if he can read them, reading to himself.
Corlith enters the room as well, maintaining the protective spell. He wanders over to take a look with Virro, seeing if he can read or interpret the writing.
"Is it the bones that are magical, or the relics?", he asks Ironmaiden as he examines them, summoning a spectral hand so he doesn't need to touch them to turn them around.
As the group starts to investigate the etchings that are on some of the humanoid bones, they notice that they appear to be holy symbols of Lathander, Torm, Helm, and Tyr, almost mirroring the symbols that are on the shelves around.
After about a minute looking around the Ossuary, all the holy symbols in the area unleash a pulse of necrotic power. Everyone must take a CON save of 15 or take 23 necrotic damage, half if saved.
The sudden glow from the symbols quickly dies down and everything is back to the way it was when you entered the chamber.
Reya and Lulu take the full brunt of the damage and it hurts. Lulu doesn't look very good.
Reed then heads to the south and heads along the passage going west (that looks to curl around to area B). He does his best to stick to the shadows (Stealth: 2+11=13)

"Hm, this one looks to be missing a helm", Corlith observes regarding the intact statue, looking around to locate it but coming up blank.
He then looks across to Reed who is searching the walls.
Reed just shakes his head. Nothing.
“Back the way we came then”, Corlith says, waiting for someone else to lead the way.

"By all means, go ahead", Corlith replies to Ironmaiden.

"aura of magic this way" IronMaiden states looking left (toward area A) "tread carefully"

”So some of this could be magic?” Reed asks.
Before touching any of it, he takes a careful look for any traps, trip wires, or all around nasty surprises.

"necromantic in nature yeah, though I can't be too sure, check everything before you touch." IronMaiden states, lighting the room with the lantern.

"Ow," Reed says. "What was that?"
He looks around.
"Let's get out of here." Reed says.
