Welcome to my first campaign here on D&D Beyond! I have not tried this before, but I'd love to get to know yall! This should have level 20 characters, I have some premades ready if needed. I will also have a personal chat thread where the players talk to each other during the game. Please note that I will not always be here, so be cautious. Enjoy!

Placeholder. I'll post character details when I have free time. I'm thinking either a bard or a wizard. I've never played a level 20 character before!

Question: What do we do for starting equipment? I'm assuming we'd have more starting equipment than a level 1 character. Also, which ability score method should we use?

I'm relatively experienced with PbPs, so I could help if you had questions about setup and such.

Yes, you may add as much equipment as you like, as this takes place after an adventure, but other than that, do as you please!

Some idea of what we can expect to see - one shot or campaign? I presume homebrew world, any homebrew elements we should consider, and what WotC or 3rd party content is viable? How would you like characters generated and are there any restrictions?

I have two characters I'd like to play for this but I'd like to talk to the DM about whether I'd be allowed to make such characters. Seeing as the adventure is set in a Steam Punk world where the PCs got transported to after an adventure, I was wondering if it would be possible to play an extremely experienced mercenary that is native to the Steam Punk world, that would meet the PCs upon arrival.

The other character requires the old Yuan-Ti race to work.

So would like to discuss those first before committing to a character.

Also regarding equipment is their any limit on rarity? Like you said we can add as much equipment as we like. Does that also include magic items? What rarity of magic items and how many of them are we allowed?

Alright, heres the gist. Make a character from any universe, there are 3rd party things, like minecraft enemies and whatnot, roll for stats, I recommend using free stuff, but do what you please, I don't have many D&D packs, so don't expect me to have all this other stuff. I have some premades, I won't always be here, and other than that, you can basicaly add stuff from other campaigns as well, because this stuff is for an alternate universe, you may add any item, and other than that just have fun! I am planning another campaign in about 4 months or so, so be ready! Be back later!

Oh, and yes, add any homebrew content you like, as long as it isn't too OP!
