The Orc4 charges at Gendan and delivers a ruthless attack aimed at the half-elf's head. With a single masterful movement, she deflects the battleaxe away from her with her sword and then redirects the movement path of the weapon to strike the orc4 in the side. The Orc2 meanwhile jumps out of the cover of the wall, catching Runt by surprise and leaving her wide open for the long sweeping motion of the orc's battleaxe. Runt instinctively raised her hand and intercepted the axe blade that was bound for her neck. The hit creates a large gash on her arm and she feels the metal hitting against her bone leaving a dent. At least she still has her head attached to her body, even though everyone can see the hard and blood soaked bone in her arm.
Yes, but I started my rage on my turn and before my next turn I have to hit or get hit, and I just got hit, so still raging. Also I think my thunderwave would have counted to keep rage since I just have to attack, not do damage.)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 12 (8W-4L)- - Coliseum of Conquest: Master of Faerie Fire. Just don't ask her to spell it.
Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 6 (2W-1L)- - Coliseum Reborn : Master of a Myriad of forms.
Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild
(Yeah, Thunderwave does count to keep rage up but wasn't that in the previous fight? I think 6 seconds, which is one turn, would pass between turning the orc on the bridge into paste and then opening the locked door into this room.)
The whole scene leaves Devarus' guts churning uncomfortably. Yet, it didn't stop him from gritting his teeth, break out the scattershot, and after adjusting his position to the right, fires a barrage of bolts into Orc#2 and #4. "Don't focus on it. It's just a flesh wound, Miss Runt!" He shouts in hopes of rallying her spirit.
Elsara chants a spell and 3 glowing orbs appear. Devarus moves to the west and unleashes a barrage of miniature darts from the scattershot, peppering both orcs and the glowing orbs launch themselves at orc4 at around the same time. Devarus rallies Runt to bolster her and Runt can feel her fighting spirit flare up. Movement can be seen behind the orcs as Orc1 moves closer. Then, Orc2 smirks and swivels to the side as a javelin flies from behind the orc and sticks itself into Runt's belly.
DM: Okay, checking the wildshape out, what kind of wolf did you transform into? Your attack's to hit bonus and damage die are both lower than a Dire Wolf but higher than a normal wolf. What wolf are you?
(( hmm it should be a normal wolf +4 to hit 2d4+2 damage. I am writing on the cell phone so maybe there is a mistake on the math. If that so please forgive me and adjust the rolls accordingly I can’t check it now))
Map scale is 5ft. White space is put in to make the map look neater but it is still a moveable square. Floor(-), Door(#), Wall (=), Guard Rails (:), Fire ($), Spikes (^), Switch (S), Acid (~), The Guard rails are about 4ft tall. Unlike the acid pool, a single grapple is not enough to push someone over. A shove however, is enough to push someone over. From the other side, the pit is 6ft deep, making the guard rails near 10ft higher from the ground. If someone falls down into the pits, it will be very difficult to get out of said pits. DO NOT FALL IN
(#4 should have disadvantage on STR checks (including grapple checks) due to Gendan’s Hex. Not sure why it got Adv against Runt’s grapple attempt. I know the grapple succeeded anyway, but don’t want the Hex to get lost.)
