As you enter the hall you feel it. You can feel the power of a godly being nearby. The feeling is like the one you felt in the cave when the nightmarish paladin was approaching. However, there is one key difference here. The feeling is not one of magic fear that the paladin emanated but rather one of chaos and confusion. It is like a hodgepodge of various emotions, joy, despair, agitation and frustration, laughter and sorrow. It is a befuddling sensation. You can sense that whatever it is, it may be on the 2nd floor. Perhaps in the throne room, based on what Illoise told you.
Devarus had started to breathe hard as the sensation passed through him, Even if not quite the same, knowing something so powerful and mad was so close... He shuddered, then shook his head, and with teeth gritted he turns back to the compatriots. "Feels we got our source of this madness. And given its nature, I do not like our odds of finding a strange orb like last just secluded in some... torture pit." He glances up to the ceiling.
"But on the off-chance this is like last, we stay methodical on our way up. And when we sight a potential target, be prepared to run after destroying it. Agreed?"

Looking through the rooms, you find a bunch of corpses. These corpses are scratched up and beaten, indicating that they've been killed by the flesh puppets but strangely, there are no puppets nearby. Many of the dressers and furniture are laying broken and disorganized in the rooms. You find small, cheap trinkets from the servant's rooms. You find equipment for mounts in the stables and food in the kitchen. The food is mostly rotten but there are fine wine bottles that aren't rotten.
In stuff (cheap jewelry, clothes, wine bottles etc.) and plain coins, you find stuff worth: 2600 CP + 1100 SP + 60 GP
From the stables you also find whips (2), ropes (5), chains (4), Chain shirt Barding, Bits and Bridles (10), blankets (10) and two Carriages but no alive horses. The horses seem to have been killed by the flesh puppets.
What will you do now? Will you go upstairs? What ever is giving off the chaotic aura hasn't left the throne room.
Devarus would "suggest" someone take up at least a few of the chains and ropes. But, out of lingering discomfort, merely turns a blind eye to any purely monetary related appearing looting. As a precaution he wonders aloud (at least enough for his party to overhear) hacking up the bodies just a ways further in case puppeteer could still involve the untainted; only to immediately recant the idea.
Once the group is on the move for the upperlevels, Devarus tries to keep an arrow primed at all times, but steps quieted.
Everyone seems to be ready to head upstairs. Moving the plot along but please let me know if you took anything among the loot you found. If you don't say anything for extended periods of time, I will just consider nobody took anything.
The party walks up and the feeling becomes more intense. The 2nd floor is decorated by multiple guard corpses in chain mail and martial weapons strewn across the floor. The large red doors to the throne room is closed and you can hear what sounds like talking coming from the other side. However, you can't tell what is being said without getting closer (and making a perception check).
“Let’s clear each of the doors on the left, one by one.”

Also I forgot to ask, what stuff (if any) will you take from the shit you just found?
