"Alright time for some 'sneaking'" in spite of his grin and literal air quotes he truly makes an effort to step softly as he follows Muireach. (Stealth: 6)
His efforts prove fruitless, as his weight shakes the very stone with his gait.
Luthok shakes his fist and Dyoken and mumbles something in dwarvish. As the duck flies by he looks like he actually enjoys the sight of the mighty fine bird. "Big and clumsy aren't ya, Dyoken? Let the professionals help with that." Luthok grasps his staff firmly and taps it twice in the ground, no sound can be heard as wood meets the rock. Luthok uses his Staff of the Woodlands to cast Pass without trace on the party, granting them advantage on stealth checks.
Stealth: 6
Even under the effect of the spell the old dwarf still has a limp on his left leg and although he tries his best the dragging of foot across stonework echoes through the cave.
(I don't know what i was thinking, its +10 on stealth checks. So that 6 is supposed to be a 15)
Dyoken's footsteps nearly echo throughout the tunnel until Luthok manages to muffle the sound with his spell. The walk within is uncomfortable and Dyoken in particular cannot see ahead of himself. Perhaps using Muireach or Luthok as a guide, by placing a hand on either of them, would be his best bet?
Those with dark vision notice the walls depict scenes of some kind, but unless you stop to examine them, you won't know what they mean.
Once you finally reach the square room that has the spiral staircase, you all hear a voice, just like Merrick had, "More of you? How lovely! Please rid the shrine of those who would defile it."
For Dyoken and Muireach, this voice seems to be right in your ear. For Luthok, it seems to be faraway and it seems like he can only barely hear it.

Luthok these images jog your memory about Lysuna. She was an ancient goddess from an ancient civilization around these parts long before these lands even had the two major trade routes. You can't quite remember the exact details, but, this goddess was adored by the people enough that you've even seen statues of her, moss covered now, in the Emerald Forest.
There is a story depicted on the wall that you have heard before, retold with other deities in her place. But you know this is the story of The Guardian. This tale is about a young man whose wife falls into a deep sleep in a curse placed by an ugly hag. Soon, a god, usually male and powerful, arrives and offers to awaken the maiden if the young man does three great tasks. As the story goes, the young man does, and is so rewarded. But here, while you recognize the themes, it is a bit strange that all the major players seem to be women, but the sleeping woman in the story is hard to tell what sex they may be. The god is replaced by Lysuna. There seems to be some language written here, but you don't know it. It seems to use a script not unlike elvish, or at least from what you've seen of elvish.
These folk who do not worship or hold nature in higher regard like you, you know that a handful of their gods seem like Lysuna repurposed. This god is quite old indeed.

Well this is an illustrated version, but the male god is replaced by the big lady whose navel we are in right now." He continues towards the staircase. "Me'thinks this is holy ground for her and her worshippers. Maybe the hoodlums use this for whatever dumb ass ritual they intend to use young lassie Yennan for." He turns towards the others. "Let's go find out what the pipsqueak is up to"
The feeling of adventure seems to have gotten to the old dwarf or it just might be he has a small hope of the easily excited halfling laying dead in the bottom of the stairs. Either way there is more energy in Luthok than you have seen earlier.

Dyoken moves up the stairs carefully in the dim light. Moving toward the light of the room above. He steps out into the room as he pulls out his whip and blade. "Alright. More friends to be made." His bearing is less regal or brotherly.
Seeing as the two are not exactly impressed by his entrance, Muireach sighs, “I try to make friends, I really do.” Before plunging both them and himself into total Darkness.
"First a ladder, and now bloody stairs!?" Luthok nearly drags himself to the top of the stairs and pulls out his staff and shield. Seeing the magically enchanted darkness in front of him he becomes uncertain of what to do next. He stops at the top of the stairs and once agian his staff glows in the dark green colour as earlier. The tip, however has a dull white colour to it.
Action: Cast and hold Chill Touch (Trigger: Whenever an enemy comes into view) Attack roll: 20 DMG: 3 Bonus action: Cast Shillelagh

Merrick and Muireach, you both have an idea where enemies were before they were obscured by total darkness! As such, here is where you last saw them:
The red dot in the top row, center column is the green hood. The red dot in the top row, left column is the zombie.
Everyone else, you have no idea where any of the enemies are. Unless you have a way to see through magical darkness! If you do, just mention it in your turn, if you please. Otherwise, not even darkvision will help you here. Instead, roll a perception check to listen for the enemy. For the green hood, the DC is 10. For the zombie, the DC is 8.
The room is now basically this:
Since the effects of the darkness spell has, more or less, given all combatants who cannot see through magical darkness the blinded condition, you will all roll without advantage or disadvantage. However, if one of you can see through magical darkness you gain advantage against creatures who are blinded, and creatures who are blinded have disadvantage to hit you.
The order in which your posts will be calculated is such: Merrick (16) Muireach (12) Dyoken (9) Green Hood (8) Luthok(7) Zombie (6)
Once everyone has made their turn, I will summarize! If you list a reaction, I will use that unless another reaction is seemingly triggered. Otherwise, I will ask.
