Bryony admires the beautiful armor with the dragon, but at the last moment she realizes that it will slow her down too much. She shakes her head and offers the armor to Quinn instead. "It doesn't fit quite right," she explains. "It would slow me down too much." (I forgot she is not proficient with medium armor lol)
After that, she walks over to the brazier and removes her light armor and her weapons and sticks all of them inside the flames, admiring how the flames don't harm her wooden shortbow at all.
Jurgen says "We should check this door out too". He steps over to the door in the back of the room and looks for traps. (17 to find traps). If trapped he will disarm first, but then open the door.
The northernmost door appears to be untrapped, as far as Jurgen can tell. But it is scorched and cracked, its iron hinges partially melted; forcing it open will require a successful Strength (Athletics) check.
The door opens with a loud wrenching sound. Beyond, you see a small workspace full of barrels, jars, brushes, and other tools, together with some debris-covered worktables. Like the main workshop, it is heavily damaged.
Ruven reluctantly moves on from taking furious notes on the forge (for now) and moves on to the other room, pulling his sword out and examining it as he walks, still marveling over the forge still providing enchantment.

Kellen Rivian(Level 12 Lore Bard)- Ghosts of Saltmarsh (cbaer8)
Ruven Gilrel (Level 4 Bladesinger)- The Shattered Obelisk
Ahh, this must be the Finishing Room Ruven exclaims going into the space. This, of course, being where they painted, polished, lacquered, and otherwise finished the raw productions of the forge. Beautifying the armor and weapons was as much a part of the process as enchanting, of course, as the more alluring the piece the more gold it would fetch. Yes, yes, these were tools of paramount importance. Ruven continues pontificating over the various tools and the states that they're in, using terms such as "galling" and "vexatious", whether anyone's actually listening or not.

Ruven Gilrel (Level 4 Bladesinger)- The Shattered Obelisk
Jurgen detects nothing magical in this small workshop. The jars and barrels are filled with paints, varnishes, oils, and polish, some still good. Bryony finds that the tools and brushes are mostly ruined. Ruven takes copious notes and mutters.
Jurgen exits and surveys the way north and west. Stairs descend to the northeast, where the rhythmic booming waves seem to originate. Another passage leads west.
Bryony follows Jurgen. She hears the rhythmic noises coming from the north and decides to scout out ahead a little bit. She will move quietly down the stairs and see what there is to see and then report back to the others.
Bryony scouts ahead, silently descending the stone stairs. It is pitch dark. (Does Bryony have any means to see in the dark?) But her ears pick up the sound of water – a lot of water – and echoes suggesting a large cavern or space.

“I’ll do whatever you all decide, but I dunno if it’s worth our time dealing with that wraith. We can’t even get through that dammed door!
If it turns out there’s something in there that we need, we can deal with it later.”

As Ruven predicted, those armor and weapons you bathe in the green flames become +1 weapons and +1 armor, but the boons are only temporary.
Where to?

Bryony follows Jurgen to the door and sees that it has also been melted. She looks at Boona. "Boona, do you think you can pull it open?"

Quinn takes the armor from Bryony. He’s never held armor of this quality before, let alone worn anything like it.
“This armor is quite nice. Very well made. And it fits perfectly.”
He walks over to Jurgen as he inspects the door for traps. He offers up his crowbar for anyone who wants to have a go at prying the door open.

Boona screws up her face.....normally she'd say yes but her strength has been failing her a lot in this place....
She headed to the door, grasped it and tried to wrench it open.
