Chadwick will use Divine Sense and see if he can pick up anything. He'll wander back towards the shored up wall too. It last ten minutes so should be able to cover the whole crypt.
Starker:”My Lord, I fear I have no more to contribute for the moment, and I would like to contemplate the relics and monuments to those who have only been names in a book to me. I will, with your permission, I hope, go to look at the memorials to Harlandil, Crandill, Nimnal, and Garlin. Should I be needed I will be seconds away.”
"Mage Starker, while Trolkarl is preparing to confer with his kin, would it be wise of us to determine if there are any Arcane protections or items in the area of this so called load bearing wall the Drow speaks of? I would hate to begin to remove the wall to find it holds some protections about it." (Detect Magic)
"While you are doing that, i will commune with Tyr and seek is guidance in that area."
You see Kragen remove two coins from within a belt pouch around his waste. He begins an incantation, rocking back and forth and occasionally throwing his hands up towards the ceiling of the crypt. You pick up some of the incantation with prayers, signs of good fortune and truth woven in. This goes on for over 10 minutes, then hearing at the end.
"Guide us as we seek to uncover the truth of Handers death by removing the poorly built crypt wall to the SE and searching beyond."
When the incantation and protestations are done, you see Kragen toss the two coins he had in his hand to the crypt floor.
If looking closer, each coin has a symbol on each side. One side has the Hammer of Tyr engraved on it while the other have The Scales of Justice balanced. The combination of the sides provides Kragen with Tyr's divine guidance. (Weal or good results = 2 coins with Scales of Justice facing up, Woe or bad results = 2 coins with Tyr's Hammer facing up, Weal and Woe = 1 Tyr's Hammer and 1 Scales of Justice facing up, Nothing or no results = 1 coin landing and remaining standing on its edge.
Starker spends a few minutes arranging his thoughts, emotions, and limbs, twisting them, each in turn, through a somewhat tortuous path. All the while he is muttering under his breath a pattern of sounds and words that for all the world sounds like a recitation of a geometry proof. (About seven minutes in he says, in common, ‘need to account for the cthonic phlogistan ebullience’ and in response Cyrus adjusts his fez, rotating it thrice widdershins.) A few moments later Starker finishes the ritual and starts to look carefully at the section of wall in question, and then at Almanal, and then the other alcoves.
Hearing Starker mention the memorials, Trolkarl exhales deeply, his gaze lingering on the stones...
Yes, Starker your instincts are ever well placed, and you remind me to untangle my own thoughts from this web of deceit. We have a memorial of Nimnal here. But I must correct myself - Nimnal was never laid to rest here. He and his guards vanished, leaving behind questions. He is remembered but not interred.
But his son is here. Our father, Garlin Ravenshield was the only one in our line to see through Alamnal's influence and dismiss him. He overheard the argument between his Nimnal and Alamnal, yet never spoke of what he heard. He alone refused to trust the drow, and for that, he was seen as weak.
I suggest we begin with the one who saw through the lies before any of us.
Kragen looks at the coins and then turns to Trolkarl.
”Truly Tyr has provided some divine guidance. I have a favorable signal that if we search beyond the poorly built wall that was recently constructed, that it will lead us to the Truth behind your Brothers murder.” With a grim countenance.
”I recognize that this may uncover some painful truths that House Ravenshield will face. Do you approve of removing the wall and searching beyond?”
”if we are given mining picks, my Brother and I can make short work of that wall.” Looking to Hoid and then back to Trolkarl
“Brother Kragen, my lumbago is flaring up today, so I doubt I can be of much aid with the wall. I prefer to stay where I am, out of the way.” (In striking distance of Alamnal if he decides to flee.)
Starker:”Curious. That small block on this new wall just moved very slightly, just about ten times the average width of a human hair, but though slight the motion was definite. Ravenshield Guards, stand ready to protect your Lord. Duke’s guards, don’t let Almanal leave or commit a nefarious act. Everyone: prepare for the unexpected!”
Starker:”Almanal (or whoever that actually is” is emanating illusory magic from his head, right where his disguising hat would sit. Take it off right now, hand it to a guard, and show us your true self!!!!”
keeps his attention focused on wall for further movement or remarkable event. Hides among Hartstone sepulchral detritus, hoping for some cover.
As Kragen begins to inspect and determine the best approach to dismantling the newly constructed wall to the SE, he begins to call to Lord Gammal to have a mining pick brought to assist.
pauses hearing Starker mention the faux block and then turns to peer at Alamnal.
Action starts to happen following Starker’s outburst. The Purple Knights move to protect Dimitris. Garrod moves into the room, looking about. Grammal stands, mouth agape, confused. Alamnal moves to exit through the hallway.
"Kragen, while my stonemasonry skills are feeble to that of you and Hoid, I spent enough time stacking stones for walls in the village I believe I can be of assistance. Plus if any of the dead aren't quite all the way dead, Tyr will assist us in smiting them down."
He begins to make his way to the wall. When Starker makes his announcement he'll stop next to Almanal and wait to see what happens next.
EDIT - The above is what I wrote, but the thread was updated while writing. So I'll wait for a ruling on Chadwick's reaction depending on the ruling where he was located when Almanal made a break for it.
Hoid pulls his ridiculously large great sword from its sheath enough to strike Alamnal with the hilt. He lands a blow to the forehead, knocking him back into the wall. Alamnal slides to the ground unconscious.
As he does so, his appearance changes to that of a human dressed in good clothes. “Brunel?!,” is the gasp heard from Grammal. A fine leather and wool tam-o-shanter falls to the ground beside him.
Hoid will bend down to look at Brunel, pick up the hat (inconspicuously, of course) and say, “What have we here? Who is Brunel? Someone might want to check to make sure his brains aren’t leaking out his ears. I seem to have been … exuberant in my reaction.”
Chadwick will use Divine Sense and see if he can pick up anything. He'll wander back towards the shored up wall too. It last ten minutes so should be able to cover the whole crypt.
Gneuman will volunteer to use his Dim Mock ki power to knock down the wall.

if not told no, moves as shown.

Kragen’s coins land on the floor of the crypt without bouncing.
Weal
Kragen looks at the coins and then turns to Trolkarl.

Of course Kragen. Your wise guidance has always kept us on the right path. We are here for the truth no matter where it takes us.

Backs up. casts Mage Armor.

Action starts to happen following Starker’s outburst. The Purple Knights move to protect Dimitris. Garrod moves into the room, looking about. Grammal stands, mouth agape, confused. Alamnal moves to exit through the hallway.
Hoid has a miraculous recovery from his lumbago and executes a reaction attack for the ages against “Alamnal.”
to hit: 27 (natural 20)
damage: 22 (rerolled 2 as 6)
trip attack: 8
30 total damage, using non lethal
Sentinel reduces “Alamnal’s” speed to zero. DC 15 strength check or “Alamnal” is prone.
After Kragen's comment...

Chadwick will check if he needs healing, or some water dumped on his head to help regain consciousness.
If he needs actual healing, he'll use one HP of LoH.
Brunel is knocked unconscious.
