Satisfied with his goo collection, Starker carefully cleans his tools with a spare cloth that he then discards into the pile of remaining, hissing ichor. He returns his heavy leather gloves to his pack after giving Cyrus a mango slice marked 2 on it. Cyrus returns to his shoulder and happily munches the mango slice. Starker then examines the Wall of Force and the area in front of it, Arcana check = 26. "From what you describe happened, Trolkarl. It sounds like you activated a Glyph of Warding or similar spell that summoned the demon here. It would be a powerful spell indeed if it summoned such a demon AND put up this Wall of Force," Starker announces.
“I do not. Typically, it would take time to expire, or, a Disintegrate to remove it. Famously, Dispel Magic is ineffective. Hopefully, it is not permanent,” he adds, “ like the one around that tower near Shalecliff.”
The cellar of the Ravenshield hunting lodge is quiet. Only the hissing of the dissipating demonic ichor can be heard. The stench is oppressive. Garrent prefers to remain out of that chamber.
To Trolkarl "I think Hoid has the right of it, the construction of this manor has some potential darker implications."
"If we rest here and recoup, we have accommodations that will better serve some of our wounded. Once rested, we can investigate the remainder of the basement/tunnels, the manor for other clues to Alamnal dealings, how deep he has infested this realm and potential clues to his next location, if we so choose to pursue.".
"It could also lead to potential locations of his followers within the realm and allow Ravenshield's and Hartstone's, under the Duke's banner, to purge the realm of these bad actors."
Considering the works of Kragen and earlier comments of Hoid while looking around the tunnels
We have spoken of the underdark and duergar and the origin of the structure above us. I know the lodge itself was built in the time of Harlandil Ravenshield. Nimnal was a teenager when it was completed. I would guess it predates all but his earliest magical pursuits. But that is only my conjecture. I know little else of the construction.
“It is late and we are nearly spent. Let us gather what we think may be of value from the fallen, find beds and post watch. We can review the lodge contents tomorrow. Hopefully the tunnel will be accessible by then. We should keep watch here in the cellar as well as from the roof.”
Kragen awakens and quickly begins his morning prayers and tidy's himself for the days activities.
Upon request from Hoid, Kragen beings praying to Tyr and motioning around the pile of equipment and items collected from the Drow and Orcs. This takes 10 minutes and then Kragen begins to look through the pile.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe 3 party members cannot use abilities to regain hp in combat: Gneuman, Starker and Trolkarl. I propose Gneuman gets a Potion of Healing (Greater) because he is in melee. I propose Starker and Trolkarl each get a Potion of Healing. Kragen gets the other Potion of Healing (Greater) because a dead cleric is a dead party.
Gem’s don’t divide easily. If we divide 7 ways, each party member and Gaius get the equivalent of 50 gp. One character will need to put 50 gp into the pot for a 100 gp gem, one character gets the 50 g, and everyone else gets. 50 gp gem. I will pitch in 50 gp for the 100 gp gem.
Hoid: garnet 100 gp, pay 50 gp
Gaius: 50 gp
Gneuman: quartz 50 gp
Chadwick, Kragen, Starker and Trolkarl: emerald 50 gp each
Hematite 10 gp x3 towards Gohumbee’s pay (we all get some benefit)
Potion of Invisibility: Chadwick (because reasons)
Bead of Force: Trolkarl (because reasons)
Figurine of Wonderous Power, Onyx Dog: Starker (because reasons)
armor of radiant resistance, leather: no one can use very well, so put it in someone’s saddle bags for future bargaining
Starker: “Poison is interesting in and of itself and could be useful in both my vocation and my avocations. If noone objects I will take the poison-related items.
”Also, I would like to remind everyone that I would like for Alamnal to be dead soon and I would like roughly a square foot of the skin from his back for … reasons. Even if he is unlikely to trouble Trokarl and Gaius’ Houses soon, he still can brag that he stood against The Company and came away personally unscathed. For those of you to whom this matters he is evil and he is powerful. To the extent that the gods care about such things many would be happy of we were to kill him.
”If we decide not to pursue him now I do suggest that, as soon as possible, we get Haste scrolls, potions, or spells. He can single handedly deal out more mayhem than any four of us in a fixed peruod of time, it seems.
”Also, please do remember I am looking for a potter to make a dried mango slice container out of the acid-arrowing-assassain’s ashes. Also, I will be looking to have a saddle made so Cyrus can ride the mastiff.
(Re mastiff saddle: you would need to carry the saddle elsewhere the vast majority of the time because the mastiff is usable for a few hours and then unusable for 7 days.)
You are able to find some passable good stores in the lodge’s larder. A few small casks of beer as well. Breakfast is made, even if a little unusual. Kragen and Starker finish evaluating the items. Hoid separates things into equivalent piles. Gaius is appreciative of being included in the division of spoils. Gohumbee seems affixed to the gems with his attention. Cyrus seems to be practicing stances for dog surfing. The Wall of Force has disappeared in the chamber below.

Looks in the direction of the invisible wall and ponders on Starkers comments - Arcana -17
Starker, do you have means to dispell it? Or is this something we can expect to fade with time?
“I do not. Typically, it would take time to expire, or, a Disintegrate to remove it. Famously, Dispel Magic is ineffective. Hopefully, it is not permanent,” he adds, “ like the one around that tower near Shalecliff.”

Looks to the others for additional thoughts.

"Prudent Brother, i will take first watch as i complete my daily prayers if that is amenable to all."
The night passes uneventfully. Everyone gets a long rest.
You find the Wall of Force has disappeared.
Can someone cast ritual detect magic on the equipment we found on the drow and orcs?
Kragen awakens and quickly begins his morning prayers and tidy's himself for the days activities.
Upon request from Hoid, Kragen beings praying to Tyr and motioning around the pile of equipment and items collected from the Drow and Orcs. This takes 10 minutes and then Kragen begins to look through the pile.
Following Kragen's Detect Magic spell, Starker follows up with a series of Identify castings. You find the following:
Al'rixsas - Mithral Plate armor, Adamantine Long Sword, 2 daggers, shield, pouch, 25gp, 8pp
Elladra - Leather armor, hand crossbow, 2 daggers, rapier, bolt case, crossbow bolts, pouch, Potion of Invisibility, empty vial, thieve's tools, 12gp, 9pp
Mez'barri - Armor of Radiant Resistance, Leather, hand crossbow, bolt case, crossbow bolts, dagger, rapier, short sword, Potion of Healing (Greater), Poisoner's kit, Vial of Basic Poison, Garnet 100g, Hematite 10g x 3, Quartz 50g
Pnix'turnzail - Dagger, Robe, Cluster of purple crystals, Dagger, Pouch, Potion of Healing, Emerald 50g x 4, 18gp
Stigl'azzr - hand crossbow, bolt case, crossbow bolts, Dagger, leather armor, rapier, pouch, Potion of healing (greater), vial of poison - Lolth's Sting, 12pp, 21gp
Vralix - Chain shirt, hand crossbow, bolt case, crossbow bolts, dagger, scimitar, pouch, Bead of Force, Potion of Healing, 18gp, 13pp
Orc - Figurine of Wondrous Power (Onyx Dog)
I believe all of the coins were previously distributed, Kragen has the healing potions, and Chadwick has the mithral plate and adamantine long sword.
I can work on dividing the gems equitably later.
I have no particular interest in any yet to be claimed items, but would take some so that they don’t get left behind.
The leather armor seems like something to sell or trade, unless anyone sees a different use.
All true.
I think I have 3 of the 4 healing potions however I think it makes more sense they go to the melee types for quick use.
feel free to distribute as you see fit and I will remove them from inventory. 😉

If it matters, Gneuman has one PoH on him. I also have..Uncanny Metabolism (Special)
Once per Long Rest, when you roll Initiative you can regain all expended Focus Points, and regain 1d8+6 HP
But, he will carry another if needed.
