Krackle creates the smell of smoke in the air while sniffing the air. "Can you smell the smoke? We need to move." he says before turning back towards the tunnel. If possible he would cast create bonfire just around the bend so that the fire itself isn't visible to the lizardfolk but the flickering light from the flames could be seen..
He would use prestidigitation to create the smell of smoke.
Ixsas stays where he is. If there's going to be a fight, he want to be close to as many of the lizardfolk as possible. He notices Zeds and Serge getting ready for a fight, but he tries to avoid looking at them and focuses on the lizardfolk, waiting patiently to see whether the story convinces them.
The fire is a nice touch though the lizardfolk in the back knows a thing or two about spellcasting. With a thump of his tail the rest of the lizardfolk surge forward ready to kill.
"Let no one say we didn't try our best to avoid this,"he will lament to his allies. Drawing his blade, Serge walks 5' north, staying within melee range of the nearest lizardfolk. Then he turns and strikes out twice toward that foe.

Once Zeds detects the surge forward he draws his shortbow and uses Steady Aim to calm himself and give him the best chance for hitting his mark as possible. It is a target rich environment but he'll choose the one that looks like a spellcaster - Damn mages are always too tricky for their own good!
Bonus Action: Steady Aim to get advantage on the shot...
Shortbow Attack: 18to hit for 8 piercing damage plus 11 Sneak Attack damage.

Once a safe distance backwards he whispers "Don't worry Eggy, you'll be alright" before pointing two fingers towards the two lizardfolk attacking Serge and casts fire bolt. Flames streak through the darkness towards the two lizardfolk as the kobold clutches his orb and covers his egg with his arm.
(OOC: Just to clarify, four lizardfolk are within 5-ft of Ixsas or Serge. Which two are the spellcaster and the archer, and have they moved at all from their positions on the original battle map?)
