Amarillis looks at Monio "Good point. We can check out all the Annie businesses. I do wonder if there's a more of a connection between the girl and the Annie family. As for her flat, it sounds like she lives with her sister upstairs from the Bloody Knot, whoever talks to the sister can probably get her to let them up there to look around."

Raze crossed her arms and leaned against a barrel near her. "Aye, I know the best way to the Bloody Knot. But seeing as it's nearly 1 in the morning, maybe it'd be best to go when the sun is up. Whore houses are pretty quiet in the morning, so I'm thinking our best bet for pokin' around would be then. The tailors are sure to be asleep at this time as well." Raze nods to her companions. "Why don't we go to one of the taverns she worked at? It's not yet closin' time and this late in the evening, the customers tongues should be nice and loose with all those drink they've been havin'," She looks around at her surroundings, her eyes falling on the door the Green Mask Man left by "I could probably use one myself."

There are different kinds of taverns. Some cater to travelers, sailors, teamsters and miners. Some provide entertainment and diversion. The Brass Bar is where the serious drinkers gather. They come for the alcohol first and conversation is a very distant second. Dim oil lamps create a ghostly glow in the clouds of pipe smoke. A dozen middle aged and older men sit along the length of a walnut bar on oak and brass stools. An older taller than average lanky half elf woman is tending the bar. You pick up bits of somewhat subdued conversations around the bar. "Everybody talks about the red dragon but anyone who has really faced on knows that the black dragon is the real nasty." Says an old man, while farther away you hear, "I'm serious. Kobolds aren't nearly as wicked nor as stupid as you think! They're damn good mine workers, many of them are very nice and they can cook a rat to taste like a royal goose!" A bald man gets up from his stool and pays his tab. "Here's and extra tip for Cassy! If'n you see her tell we miss her.""HERE HERE!" Says another man. "I miss that child!" The lady at the bar puts some coins in a jar marked {Cassy] "I thanks ya but I just don't know when she'll be back."
Monio steps up to the bar next to near the jar marked for the missing girl . "I'll have an ale, too...something dark if ya got it."While waiting for his drink, he says to the lady behind the bar. "Must be a popular girl,"he says motioning to the jar, "to be able to make money when she's not even around."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
BUnko will also grab and ale at the bar and step away . He will try to listen in on any other conversations...and in specific look for any shady type characters...
Amarillis walks up to the bar and remarks "Well, the dear girl must be someone truly blessed to attract this kind of loyalty even when she is not here. Is she ill? Is there anything I can do to help? May Vesta bless and protect her!"
Nobody here seems suspect or shady, just drinkers. The half elf lady bartender gives everyone their drinks. "Well everybody loves Cassy, so some of the customers wanted to donate to her tuition fund."She holds up a jar of copper coins and rattles it. "She was a great help. I miss her and so do the customers but the tips here come in copper as you can see. She needs silver and she deserves it. We are all worried about her though and so is her sister. Said she hasn't been home."

"Oh..?"Monio replies as he hands over a gold to cover the cost of his and his companions' drinks. "How long have people been disappearing? Was Cass the first? Have they all been younger women?"
"As many as ten others are missing from nearby. Five other girls and five boys as well, as young as ten years. Cassy just got noticed because of her sister's association with the Field Marshall. Nobody came to look for the others. Are you with the Royal Guard or the RBA?" [Royal Brixtonian Army]
